Scorched Wood Cat Tree

Overall a good purchase. Found the small bracket a bit weird which attaches the middle basket to the main post, instructions were not completely clear. However 5 stars from my cat. (13 year old long haired black kitty, night hunter, morning nibbler and afternoon snoozer). Mia, even though a prolific scratcher has not touched the wicker like others.

Invested in this beautiful cat tree for my kitties. Went out for day and came back to it literally shredded. They had pulled all the wicker out and chewed it up into little pieces that were strewn all over my house. I was devastated as it was £150 and hadn’t lasted more than 24 hrs. Never had a tree destroyed like that before. Don’t buy. One of my cats also nearly choked on a piece of the wicker that was pulled out too!

Zooplus were great with communication when I had initial questions about this product. It's really sturdy and easy to put together and looks very stylish in the home, unlike a lot of cat trees. Betty loved it straight away - the scratching rope on the supports are a great touch and she is so comfy in all of the baskets! We love it :)

This is not fit for purpose as my cats destroyed the top basket within weeks of setting it up.

The wood in this is very softwood. The base was scratched and one of the posts had two big dents in it. The Wicker baskets feel very flimsy. Overall it's a shame because it's a nice looking product. It just screams cheap whereas the price is completely in the opposite direction. I should have took more attention to other peoples reviews. And maybe so should. Wayfair.

This was much larger than expected. But within a few hours 2 of my three cats were well and truly settled in. It's well made and sturdy. We put the domed basket at the bottom, but needed to drill a new hole as it wouldn't line up.

I bought this for my rescue kitty's when I knew I had to move house. They love it and are really enjoying all the beds.

I’ve bought far to many cat trees for my four cats and spent a lot and not been happy with them until I found this one.!! Honestly it a beautiful looking and very strong and yes even my chihuahuas use it!!

I’ve had my eye on this tree for a while, but let’s face it, it’s not cheap. We have had two flower cat trees from zooplus in the past and as with those, this one stood out as it’s a bit more aesthetically pleasing than the usual ‘fluffy’ trees. The finish is a bit rough on the baskets which is disappointing for the price. But very sturdy and big enough for our 5.5kg chunk and a large 10 month old kitten! Our cats aren’t bothered about chewing it so that’s just luck of the draw I think!

All cat trees get heavy duty use at my home and this one looks really good once its built. Its very sturdy for the heaviest of cats but they are so attracted to the basket areas that they simply use them as scratch pads and wreck them. Then to cap it all off they thought the lowest bed was a litter tray. Great. Not.

This arrived in perfect condition and is really chunky and robust. In fact it looked stunning when first purchased. However my Ragdolls very quickly and systematically shredded every single strand of weave from the top basket, before moving onto the others which I think they thoroughly enjoyed. Within around 4-5 months however, it was only fit for my local tip. I wish I’d taken photos.

Reading other reviews I thought I would be getting a great cat tree, very disappointed . The baskets are very Bradley made and bits keep constantly flaking off, the hood that goes on top was dented and the wood platform it stands on had a large chip in it.

really happy with it - very sturdy - easy to put together - we did juggle the beds around as one other cats is 15 now - and did not want it to tall for the area - only issue a little big for the area but still happy - little worried at how long the wicker may last and would have been better if the cushions could have been covers for washing - other than that both cats have use two beds xt

Good cat tree initially. Sturdy and pleasing to look at. After having it for 3 months my 9 month old kitten decided to deconstruct the basket at the top of the tree resulting in basket weave all over the house as she would run about with the bits as if they were prizes! Won't be long till there is nothing left of said top basket. One of my other cats refuses to go near it. Wouldn't purchase again.

After reading such mixed reviews of this tree I was hesitant whether to buy it but couldn't findanything with natural looking dark wood. Cats did not jump on it straight away like on the xl paradise one but after a few days all 3 were lovibg it :-)

So happy with this purchase and was considering another for upstairs but seems product not available for a while and sale price with no doubt be over by then. Basically I've become an orphan since it's gone up as Ollie is pretty much up there non stop and hasn't slept on my bed since it arrived :( He LOVES it! So do I! It's very sturdy and aesthetically gorgeous. I would highly recommend as I'm sure it will last for a long time to come

Look very posh and sturdy but the cats here had the top covered area wrecked within weeks and totally destroyed not with bits of basket everywhere. They also thought the lowest level was a posh litter box!

This cat tree went together really easily and looks amazing in my living room, it feels like a piece of furniture rather than just a cat tree. The kitties love climbing all over it, but they don't like the cushions, our tiny kitten puts one paw on them and then makes a beeline round the outer edge of the basket, as soon as I wrapped the cushions in blankets she was happy to use all the pods.

I'm very satisfied, it has two cats, we've had it for 6 years, it still looks great, and the cats are happy. I recommend it.

The wood is very light. The wicker baskets were quickly damaged by the cats' claws. The frame needs to be tightened regularly.

Delivery was fast, but the tree was very disappointing. It's a shame you can't upload pictures here, because the sisal is much lighter than in the photos and the baskets aren't brown but purple. Also, the wood is very light and the baskets flake EXTREMELY. If you get three splinters just from unpacking and have to vacuum twice, that doesn't speak for a quality product. Plus, there are glue residues in multiple places that won't come off. Was really looking forward to it, but the disappointment was even bigger.

Seemingly one of the most impressive cat trees in the catalogue, difficult and heavy, with thick, solid wood pieces that the cats absolutely loved. Comfortable, gorgeous as a standalone piece of furniture in a large space, you’d say. But then, the heavy, almost luxurious construction gave way under its own weight and the base collapsed and broke, revealing that it was actually supported by thin slats joined together with tiny nails, barely the size of a pin... Such a shame for what was otherwise an impressive build.

Bought this scratching post for our kittens back in 2020. By now, they're two big cats weighing 6 kilos each. They climb and sleep in it a lot. After almost 6 years, (finally) the rope on the largest post has snapped. Other than that, nothing wrong with this scratching post at all! A while ago, we decided to weigh down the bottom of the post. Otherwise, they'd just knock it over when jumping on it :P It's a real shame there aren't any spare parts for the post! Such a waste to have to throw it away, especially for the kitties. 🐱

The product looks nice, but the wood was already scratched when it arrived and the wicker was shredded by the cats in no time. So it quickly stopped looking good. Otherwise, the beds are quite liked by the cats. It's a shame it's so fragile.

Never seen anything like it before and it’s a real treat for the eyes. The baskets can get a bit messy if the cats scratch at them, but to be fair, most stands can end up like that in one way or another. I’ve read a few reviews here saying the big post is unsteady, but those people clearly haven’t read the manual properly, where it’s clearly marked that there’s an angle bracket that should be attached between the middle basket and the big post. If you don’t do this, the post will wobble, but if you do, it’s actually really sturdy!

Some fluff comes off the baskets, but otherwise it's a really good and sturdy cat tree. The cat is happy! ❤️
