The scratching board is a hit among cats, offering a mix of play, rest, and scratching. While some felines adore fishing out the jingly balls, others prefer lounging or scratching. The cardboard can wear out quickly, especially with enthusiastic use, but its affordability makes it easy to replace. Some owners find it less sturdy for heavier cats, but overall, it's a fun, engaging product that many cats enjoy, providing hours of entertainment and relaxation.

The item was broken in the middle.
This scratching furniture arrived here broken and was snapped in the middle. My kitties can't play with it. Overall, it's not very sturdy and is probably more suitable for very young cats.

Brilliant and affordable
Our 6-month-old tomcat took to it straight away, even without the catnip. He plays like crazy with it.
After the first play sessions, we’d wish that the inner padding for the corrugated cardboard was continuous. The ball often gets stuck in the corners, and the cat can’t get it out without help.

My cat loves it . . .
I had a scratch box from Aldi and my cat destroyed it in no time, but clearly loved it. So I bought one of these to replace it, but it is far better quality. The box is sturdy and the scratch part is really thick. She likes to sleep on it as well as scratch it.

A great toy
The cats absolutely love it and both are really fond of it. They enjoy playing with it and also use it to sharpen their claws.
The old toy lasted a year of intense play from two growing cats before I decided to order a new one.

Excellent product
Oh, what a fantastic board. Max loves this and doesn't appear to get bored with it. I have just purchased another bag of balls for extra fun.
Max also likes to sit on top and nibble the corners but so far it's still in good shape but at £4.99 what's to complain about?

Super fun factor
Three of our furry friends are absolutely thrilled with this. When all the balls are out, one of my little furballs comes to get me so I can stuff them back in.
I can live with the paper shreds; what bothers me is that with every order, you always get the balls again. It would be nice to have a second version of the scratching board without the balls—for the sake of the environment...

Scratch & Play
My tomcat is absolutely crazy about it, even without catnip. I’ve already had to flip the cardboard over because he’s scratching it more than his scratching post now. Will definitely buy again.

Poor quality
Turned up bent in half so when my cats try to play with it, it just collapses. The idea is good but unfortunately I wish I hadn't bothered

Cats are thrilled, but...
My cats love scratching it extensively, especially my long-haired tomcat with a cardboard fetish. After he's had his go, there are bits of paper scattered all over the room. Unfortunately, he also eats them, so it's going away for now.

Fabulous
My cat really enjoys this scratch box

Amazing!
Our kitten loves trying to get the two balls that come with it out but the only bad thing is that when you put the catnip in it falls out straight away through the holes on the side. It also is very hard to break which is good as our kitten loves trying to break things open!

Cat fun!
Is very much loved, played with, and slept on.

Came super quickly
All three lady cats started playing with it straight away. To prevent the balls from getting lost immediately, I tied them to the box with a string. This way, you can easily pop them back into the box cave with just one quick move. They absolutely love it!

Hours of Fun!
This keeps my clever and highly energetic kitten very busy. He does not quit till he has both balls out of the box! Not really scratched it though. My adult cat uses it as a bed 😂
Our most successful toy ever
Our cats loved this and have had hours and hours of play time without. A few months on, they have got bored with it but it was great value for money

I can only recommend it.
My kitty still loves it 🐾😁

Frequently used.
Our foster cat loves it; she quickly destroyed the other scratching boards.
This one has already lasted several weeks.

Still interesting even after 6 months :)
Really great item! The cats are having so much fun! Of course, the corrugated cardboard on top doesn’t last forever, but it was clear from the start that this is a consumable product. At this price, you can easily afford to buy it more often. The jingle balls are happily fished out from the top and kicked around the entire flat – especially at night when you’re trying to sleep ;)

The cats love it.
Both cats agree: the best toy ever. Unfortunately, there are no other scratching boards available in the right size anymore. I’d love to have a replacement, preferably without holes in the top board. The outer box is really old, and the inside wears out quickly.

Does very well
At the reduced price of £4.99 it is good value. My cat loves it and it has lasted very well. She doesn't need catnip with it, she sits on it as it is quite warm and uses it to scratch as well. She even plays with the ball inside sometimes, which is unusual for her. I have never had a cat that likes the posts, so was happy to find this.
I'd buy another if the postage wasn't the same as the price - making it double the cost.
