Not for me
One of my cats had a good time playing with the balls, while the other managed to fish them out within a minute every single time (hence one star deducted for the opening being too large), and then the balls were off flying around the flat. None of my three cats scratched at it. Now the thing has been sitting unused and in the way for ages. Unfortunately, for us, it’s just another trip to the bin. The balls, of course, are nowhere to be found anymore ;)

Used everyday by the lodger has saved my kitchen walls.
The lodger (who is now a permanent resident as her previous owner no longer wanted her) started to scratch at the walls and the curtains. She used the boxes (from here) but was still having a cheeky scratch when i wasnt around. This is her absolute favourite, she scratches on it everytime she comes in and lays/sleeps on it. She plays with it on her own and i also poke the feather duster type toy through the sides. Which sends her bonkers and she catapults around the house, coming back to scratch, catch it and eat it. She isn't particularly bothered about the balls but that doesnt detract from it, its a fantastic toy. I will definitely continue to replace it and will buy some for xmas as prezzies for the families furries. Firm favourite and excellent value for money.

I order two at a time!
I'm just about to order my 5th and 6th of these (this year!) One of my cats in particular can destroy one of these in 2 weeks!! I don't even use the cat nip... Would definitely recommend this, it's strong, sturdy and they love fishing the balls out through the holes. Excellent product, I'm just glad it's inexpensive otherwise it's be costing me a fortune!!

Big love!
Both my cats have loved this item ever since I brought it home for the first time. They often even argue over who gets to lie on it first, and they always enjoy fishing for the balls inside. I also recommended the "Scratch & Play" to a friend, whose cat is now just as smitten. Whenever I reorder, I now have to get two at once. :)

New favourite game
My cat loves this thing, especially reaching into the holes – great idea!

Nothing for big cats
Our Maine Coons find the toy quite entertaining, but after Balu (10 kg) lay on it a few times, the cardboard insert bent, and of course, no ball rolls underneath anymore...
A shame, because it's actually nice.
I wouldn't recommend it for cuddle cats over 6 kg.

Top!
Super scratching furniture. Our Bengal has been using it several times a day ever since. The holes are great too.

Toy, scratch mat & bed.
I'm now on the second one, since my cat loved the first one so much she scratched it to bits. Good thing its not expensive, I'll happily keep replacing it. I added in foam balls bought from Zooplus, she loves hunting them through the holes then chasing them around, she'll happily entertain herself with it all hours of the day and night. I know cats can be picky about what they do or don't like, but this and the foam balls are my cat fav. Happy cat = happy Mum.

A favourite toy and seat
All my Cats love this even have two ordering a third asto replace original that's still a favourite but now sagging with the weight of biggest cats use when it's weighed down after much use by five cats they will choose it to sit on. They retrieve the balls too. All cardboard scratch items are a big hit beds 5 around the house all well used
Plus a joined up king-sized scratch platform 2in 1. Saves carpets helps claws releases frustration preferred other beds ignored in favour

Good combo
Scratching furniture made of corrugated cardboard is a big hit with my Coonies, and if you toss some dry food into the holes, it doubles as a puzzle board. When my cats grew up, though, I had to enlarge the side holes so they could still fish out the food. It was quick and easy to do with a box cutter.

Brilliant!
I ordered something like this for the first time, and my three kitties are thrilled! It didn’t take long before the balls were fished out, but you can also hide treats and other balls in it, and the ladies are having loads of fun with it, even fighting over the best spots by the holes! They haven’t figured out yet that they can scratch on it too, but I’m sure that’ll come. Brilliant for the price and way better than any plastic puzzle board!

Simply brilliant
Our tomcats generally love scratching cardboard and find it much better than sisal. With this, they can also play and romp around at the same time. You can even get dry food out of it in a fun way. Of course, with so much fun, the thing doesn’t last too long, but at this price, we just buy a new one. It’s definitely worth it! And the balls last longer too and are super exciting even without the box.
For us, it’s clear: all scratching cardboard is made to be destroyed, but that’s what makes it brilliant!
Also, a big shout-out once again to Zooplus – no one offers such great service as you do! Always quick help with any questions or concerns, always a solution ready – keep it up!

Our tomcats love it
I can really only recommend the scratching board; our two tomcats absolutely love it. They eagerly fish out the balls, scratch, and nibble on it.
Brilliant product at a brilliant price!

Always a pleasure.
I never expected back then that I would have such success with this item for my cats. By now, it's pretty worn out (I have 5 cats, 3 of whom use this scratching board), and while it would certainly last for a few more months, as the owner, I prefer to have a more decorative scratching piece again, so I’ll be ordering it again. It’s part of the regular furniture here.

Scratching furniture
Our cats loved it – two of them immediately grabbed a ball, and one just plopped right on top of it. No matter what, they look happy playing with it. And since it’s quite large, they can scratch it really well. Plus, the price of £6.99 is amazing!

They love it
Our two tomcats love it.
Our little one likes to take the balls out and often bites them, while our big one also plays with it sometimes and uses it for scratching.
We’re absolutely satisfied and will definitely buy it again because of our little one (-:

Great scratching post
We've had this scratch box for a few months now. It does look quite tattered already, but we knew when we bought it that it wasn't meant to last forever. My cats absolutely love it and use it all the time. It's wonderful to see how much fun our cats have with it. We'd buy it again any time!

Unfortunately, it doesn't last long.
My tomcat was thrilled right from the start – scratching, playing, I even had to take it away from him at night. I added more toys to it and even some treats. He had a great time with it for quite a while, until the first soft-pawed leap from the bed onto the scratching furniture caused a tear in it. The next day, it was shredded into a hundred pieces all over the flat. For the price, though, it’s still absolutely fine.

Simply amazing!
This was definitely a perfect purchase for little money. My little one has been busy with it for half an hour now. I never thought she’d manage to get the balls out of there. Now I have to put them back in every few seconds. Simply perfect!
