My two cats (one is a coonie and the other is a smaller shorthair domestic mix) simply adore this bed. We have three of them around the house (so that they don't fight over them)and I will have to order at least two more for our beach house. Yes, the cats do scratch it, but I simply vacuum the bits that fall off or gather on the surface. Although made of cardboard, these beds are very durable and worth every penny.

My cat never used cat beds until this. I bought it as he likes cardboard scratching things. He scratched it and then got in it and uses it every day for scratching and sleeping, the only bed he's ever taken to in 9 years! Lasting really well but will buy another for when it eventually wears out.

i ordered this product as a last minute addition to an order and i am so glad i did. my cat took to it straight away, more as a bed than to scratch at. being a last minute purchase i didn't take notice of the dimensions and was surprised how roomy it is. i am thinking of ordering another for my larger cat, and as the description says (now i have read it) it would most certainly accommodate larger cats or maybe two smaller kitties who like to snuggle. the decorations around the outside are a nice touch. being made of cardboard the bed is also nice and light while still being sturdy. thank you zooplus for this exclusive product.

I sent for one of these and my 5 cats all love to lie on it. I will have to order some more but not really practical to have 5! Two of my cats are very large and I am amazed how long they lie on this even though it is not big enough for them to fit snuggly on. They don't care though which is why I am ordering another one.

This is the first cat bed that my cat used, he went straight to it and he loves it!

I bought one of these after seeing so many people post pictures of theirs and give very positive reviews on the cat group page I belong to on Facebook. I have two cats and sure enough, both love this bed (although it is favoured by the older one who is most definitely 'top cat') she sleeps in it at every opportunity, even though she is on the large side and spills out of it! I am just buying a second one for my parent's cat who I am certain will love it just as much.

I bought one of these, and it immediately became a favourite with both our cats, though it seemed too small. They were operating a shift system, one in, one out,so I have just bought a second, and have two happy cats.

I bought this for my boyfriend's cat Shadow, who loves scratching cardboard, so I thought this would be ideal. As soon as it was out of the box, Shadow was very keen to investigate it (we think the catnip helped). We have now had it for over a year and Shadow has a wonderful time scratching it and sleeping in it every single day. It is, without doubt, his favourite place in the world. Shadow is a large moggy, and although we were concerned the bed wouldn't be big enough, he fits in comfortably and snugly when he curls up. It has stood up to the heavy usage very well, especially considering it's only made of cardboard, although it it time for a new one now as it's looking a little tatty. The only thing I regret is that our two other cats wanted to sleep in too, but Shadow wouldn't let them, so I will be buying one each for the other two as well this time.

My cat loves this bed. He had several beds but always hops into this one over the others. He hasn't scratched it so much but he obviously finds it very comfy. I will be purchasing more on the next order from Zooplus!

I have a 3Kg Burmese who won't touch it, probably as it is on the floor & a 6.5Kg Maine Coon (that is small for a coonie) who cannot fit more than 2/3 in - although he does give it a good go. They occasionally scratch it, but, mostly chew big lumps off it - it keeps their teeth clean I suppose! This seems to be constantly on sale too, so, don't be fooled by thinking this is a bargain.

Really great bed, my cats were both straight on it. They are large cats so was a little worried it would be too small but it's just right.good value for money too

Cats being the choosey creatures they are prefer to find their own resting place, but every cat I have introduced this too prefers sleeping in this during the day to anything else.

We have a cardboard scratching mat which Sheldon would sleep on, seemed an odd choice of places to sleep but when I saw this bed I knew it would be a hit with him! He's quite a large cat, part Savannah, he curls up tightly and fits very well. He alternates between this and the sofa but is really comfy in the bed. He loves it! Will have to buy another as the 3 Newfoundlands drip on it and it looks a bit scruffy now.

I have two Burmese, and as soon as I put the beds down, they were interested, sniffing the catnip and rolling around in them! They then settled down to snooze. They love the baskets, and seem very comfortable in them. Also good to scratch on. My 2 are medium size cats, and they fit perfectly in them.

This bed hasn't been empty since I put it down. If there isn't a cat curled up in it, there's one scratching vigorously. They are queueing up to sleep in it, so I'm ordering another. My only complaint is that I'm constantly sweeping up fragments of cardboard as they slowly tear it to bits.

my cats adore these scratch beds I have a large male Norwegian Forest cat he prefers this to any other beds and I have plenty around the house all types.He hangs out of this one as he is big and it would be lovely a bigger size but he seems to prefer the snug fit. I have 5 of these now had 2 in the hall I bought another 1 for upstairs landing but had to buy 2 more as they were all fighting over the 1 upstairs.

Before I could even get the package open my boys were desperate to get in. Once opened there doesn't seem to have been a moment when at least one cat isn't sitting, or scratching in this wonderful 'bed.' Sturdy, well made and very much loved by my 5 boys and 2 girls.

Whilst this is a great item & my cats argue over them, it most certainly is not big enough for larger breeds. My Coonie boy who is 18 months & just 6.5 kilos, is far too long - although he tries very hard to fit, it won't take more than 3/4 of him!

This came today and only ten minutes after unpacking it, my younger cat who hasn't slept in a cat bed since she arrived four months ago, was rolling about in it. Then my other cat came to investigate and was rubbing his nose on it and decided to have a nap in it for half an hour. I think the accompanying bag of catnip had something to do with it. Both cats have been in and out of it all day so I can honestly say its a hit and think I will definitely have to get another one. If I have any negative comments, its just that it could do with having a bigger size as its fairly small for larger cats.

Our very large adolescent cat loves this bed - he has a good chew before he settles down to sleep, thus preventing any temptation to do the same to our furniture! He's nearly chewed it all now so I am buying him another one. Eco- friendly too as the remains wil be recycled.
