We think this cup is just perfect and our 6 cats love it. I really can't agree with some of the opinions here, because if you assemble it calmly and patiently, nothing tears at all. Even our sphynx cat removed the four sticky strips straight away and the middle disc still holds perfectly. So, as I said, for this price range we think the cup is top class. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My 10 cats love this barrel. It's easy to assemble. Maybe some people with the bad reviews just put it together wrong. Everything holds really firmly and you just have to slot it in, in the right order. Absolutely recommended. We've got big cats weighing 8kg – see the picture ;)

Our furry friends love this barrel
We have a household with 10 cats. The heaviest cat weighs over 8kg and absolutely adores the barrel. Most of the time, they fight over the top spot. But they also like to lie on the middle level. In my opinion, the Starbuck barrel is very sturdy and durable, at least for us. Of course – it's made of cardboard (see description), so you do need to be a bit "careful" when assembling it and not use brute force. Assembly was gentle, very quick and straightforward. Be careful when moving it around.

I don't get the bad reviews. With a bit of common sense, it's really easy to put together. My almost 6 kilo cat is lying right in the middle, as you can see in the photo, and nothing is breaking.
With a bit of care, the shelves are easy to assemble. The smaller one goes at the bottom, the bigger one with the sticky pads in the middle.

I've had this product for about 1.5 months now and I don't really understand the other reviews, but I'm very happy with it and the cats love it too.
Yes, assembling it was harder than with others, but that's exactly why it's so much sturdier.
I have three cats, two of them are Ragdolls weighing around 6kg each, and so far nothing has broken or anything like that.

No idea what problem the others are having with the assembly. The smaller one is pushed all the way down to the floor from above. Yes, it’s a tight fit, but that’s how it should be for stability. The adhesive surfaces, together with the folded tabs, are also sturdy enough for the second, larger board. Pop the lid on and you’re done. Overall, it’s stable enough for our cat (over 6kg) and she uses it on every level.

Much loved
I've had the barrel since December 2025. I was a bit sceptical when setting it up because it's all made of cardboard, but my cat absolutely loves it.
