Worked for my cat
After an emergency blocked bladder situation that involved a hospital stay, a lot of stress and $$$ I switched to this food. 3 years later, he's not had any bladder issues and don't even think about it anymore. I make sure he gets wet food as well.

Highly recommended
Since the vet recommended this food to me, my BKH-Coon mix tomcat has been mainly eating it. He enjoys it, and there are no longer any issues with urination.

Very satisfied!
Since my tomcat suffered from urinary stones as a kitten, our vet recommended this food, and it actually worked. Since then, my cat has been using the litter box again and no longer urinates on the carpets. However, as I want to avoid dry food as much as possible, this dry food is only given as a treat on the Activity Fun Board.

Super satisfied
Since my old tomcat had to deal with bladder stones/bladder crystals three years ago and the vet recommended this to us because the stones/crystals kept coming back, we’ve finally had peace from it, and my old boy is happy again.

Good food for years
I’ve been feeding this to my pet ever since it was recommended by my vet. And that’s been over 4 years now.

The cat enjoys eating it.
My cat loves eating it, and it works. After about a week, the symptoms of chronic cystitis disappeared and haven’t returned since.

Bladder gravel
It was recommended by the vet because our Flecky has always suffered from bladder grit. She only eats dry food and unfortunately drinks very little. Since she started getting this food, she hasn’t had any problems anymore. Thank goodness – she really likes it. Even our tomcat "Speedy" enjoys it and helps himself occasionally. For him, it’s a kind of prophylaxis.

Great for struvite crystal problems
My two maine coons have been on this diet for 4 years after my female developed struvite crystal problems and had to have surgery. The vet advised to go onto this diet.
Although very pricey we havent we stuck to it and never had issues again since. Cats are now over 10 years old.

Once the hangover stomach gets used to it, it's good.
As much as it annoys me, this super expensive food helped my tomcat within 5 days. He’s been struggling with cystitis for months, and recently struvite stones were diagnosed. The vet gave me the food, and during the first few days, he just vomited and had diarrhoea—I was ready to give up. But after 3 days, everything settled down, and after 5 days, his symptoms had already improved significantly. I ordered it here again and can only recommend it. It’s great that my healthy tomcat can eat it too.

Food's great - packaging, meh
Since my cats had urinary problems, they have to eat this dry food, and I can only say positive things about it. It was accepted immediately and is eaten very eagerly by both cats.
However, what I don’t understand and have to criticise is that there’s no closure on a 9 kg bag – there’s simply nothing. The food has to be repacked or transferred into a sealable container. It wouldn’t hurt to give this some thought!

Very satisfied
Since my British Shorthair cat started having bladder issues at 9.5 years old, I've been buying the S/O as dry and wet food. He’s never had any problems again and is now 11 and still going strong.

It helps. But that's about it.
Our tomcat no longer has any urinary problems with this food. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing about it, which is why I’m giving it 2 stars. The packaging is not resealable, and especially with the 9kg pack, that’s just outrageous because I always have to transfer the food into resealable containers. Even the cheap food from Aldi comes in resealable packaging, and at this price, I simply expect that. Unfortunately, rice is listed as the first ingredient instead of meat, which is also inadequate.

Long time without stones
Our Chartreux has been eating this food for three years now. Before that, he had to have a catheter inserted twice because he couldn’t pee due to struvite stones. He still enjoys eating it, and he hasn’t had any problems with the stones since. I can feed him regular wet food without any issues. The second cat likes it too.

Fantastic product
After several episodes of cystitis that were cleared with medication then an expensive operation to remove a stone my cat has never had another bout of cystitis since I put him on this four years ago. I add a little water into his bowl with his food every morning and night then he has to drink that before he can get to the food. He seems happy enough with it and the re-ordering, service and delivery is so easy

Simply the best food for the condition- end of discussion!
I have had 2 boys now with struvite crystal problems. My old lad (now deceased) had no problems at all once he was put on this food by the vet, and happily ate it till the day he passed. When my new lad started having the same problem, it was back to this food straight away- then my vet changed her brand... One seriously unhappy boy who starved himself for 10 days rather than eat the new brand. Straight back to Royal Canin for us, and now all I have left in his dish are tiny crumbs... sorted!

Cat healthy again
After my cat had blood in her urine and the vet diagnosed struvite stones, this dry food was prescribed for her. Now she is symptom-free and continues to eat the dry food, and my other cats like it too.
