My Maine coon is very fossy, she will only eat these and they keep her coat splendid. My other cats prefer this food above other dry food too and in ZOO plus these size bags are the best deal.

When i open the bag and the meaty smell hits my nose, i instantly want a Sunday dinner with all the trimmings. I love Royal Canin foods and i have yet to find any type; either prescription or non-prescription diet that my cat's won't eat. I work in a vets where we use Royal Canin foods too and find that whenever they are offered to cats for the first time, they are almost always investigated and eaten, whether they are dry or wet diets. I myself, have a large domestic long-haired cat with a tendency to not chew his biscuits at all. He has been eating this food for 4 years now and has managed to reduce his weight from 9kg to 6kg on this diet. The size of this kibble makes it much more likely that he will actually chew his food which solves a few associated non-chewer problems such as eating too fast and the reappearance of that eaten-too-fast-food. I find also that as this diet is designed for large breed cats, Royal Canin have included ingredients to assist with joint function, this gives me peace of mind knowing that he doesn't need any additional supplements until he starts getting much older. The other large concern for a big cat owner is heart disease, Royal Canin have again addressed this issue and included ingredients that promote a healthy heart. My younger cat is also eating this food now after having only just stopped eating kitten food. As expected he loves it. For those worried about costs, the 10kg bag for just my one cat would last me around 4 months, now with 2 eating it it lasts me about 2.5 months which if you do some quick maths on an average bag being £45 is about £9 a month per cat. Much cheaper than wet food. i have two maine coons and a DSH cat they all love this food. big chunks which is great for teeth also. they never loose interest in this food as they have with other brands. and the 10kg bags last ages and great value for money

I have a part-maine coon cat - Charlie - that is so greedy if you give him normal dry cat biscuits he just yawns and swallows without chewing - they barely touch his lips, runs around then throws it back up. My vet told me he needed a dental because of tartar build up and a broken tooth, which he had done, and was recommended in future to give him the largest cat biscuits I can find to keep down the tartar. I then discovered these biscuits, they really do the trick and he loves them, even my small 16 year old cat loves to have them as a treat. My parents have a maine coon too who needed to have dentals every so often so I told them to get these biscuits and it's done the trick with him, he's always miaowing for them.

I have 5 Maine Coons and 5 assorted others including a 18 year old and a 14 year old. They all love this food. As you can imagine I buy the 10kg bags. All my cats are thriving in the food. Only downside is the fact that the bag is not resealable and does lose it's freshness although I keep it in dry conditions. What about putting it into a resealable bag??

I have 5 Coons and 5 other cats and they relish this product. Having so many I buy the 10kgs bags. I cannot understand why Royal Canin doesn't make the bags resealable like Hill's Science does. Over time, and even after a short period, despite the fact that I keep the food in a dry atmosphere and try to keep the food airtight,the food loses it's attractive smell and the cats do not relish the product as they did when the bag was opened. I asked a representative here in Ireland and she only shrugged her shoulders. Royal Canin PLEASE MAKE YOUR 10KG BAGS RESEALABLE,

We have three Maine Coons and a rescue cat - and after having a bag of this they refused to eat any other dry food. They love it!! We have also caught two of our neighbours' cats coming in the cat flap to try to grab a sneaky morsel! Word's obviously out that we have the best cat food!!

My two 19 year old Maine Coons have been eating these for years and are looking much younger than their age. My Burmese also loves the biscuits and I am sure that crunching the bigger biscuits helps to keep his teeth and gums healthy.

My cats loves this from day 1, they might get bored with other food, but not this one Only issue is delivery with anything in bulk; our poor Parcelforce guy struggling with ONE heavy 'parcel' the size of a small fridge! Zooplus used to send big orders in separate parcels, and the order was usually delivered in one go

I bought this a few months after when we got our 2nd cat, a MC called Roxy. She was 6 months old and had been mistreated. She had diarrhoea and her fur was lifeless. We slowly nursed her back to health but she always had a sensitive stomach. I decided to try this as wet food was a no go, our other cat did not like dry food and it became a pain feeding them separately. If Roxy sneakily ate wet food she got the runs but that did not stop her!!...Anyway in Steps RC MC31…our other cat who hates dry food went nuts for it! Roxy started eating it at 9months not a year as suggested but it has done her the world of good. Her stomach is now stronger, fur is really shiny and the improvement in our American shorthair was noticeable. Both of their teeth are now whiter than Simon Cowell’s! They eat slower so eat less overall. All it takes is a rustle of the bag and they come running. We love hearing the crunchy sound they make. My main suggestion is keep plenty of water handy by the bowl as they lose lots of liquids salivating over the kibbles! Buy this for ANY cat and they will love you forever.

I have 2 persian cats (my pride and joy!), 2 rescued moggies and a fussy but beautiful maine coon. He loves this food and im already noticing a difference in his hair and teeth. Sneaky little Thomas (moggie) tries to steal the food out of Snickers' (maine coon) bowl! Although i now feed Thomas and Baxter royal canin maine coon i wouldnt recommend feeding it to persians, who have a weak digestive system. Also the kibbles are too big for them.

Riley was difficult to feed until we discovered Royal Canin Maine Coon. The larger size biscuits are easier for him to pick up and eat and they never upset his tummy as some of the other brands we have tried did. The fact that Zooplus has such competitve prices and uses such a fast, trackable delivery service is a fantastic bonus.

I have 5 cats, one of which is a Maine Coon, the others are standard rescue moggies! From being tiny, they have stolen his food from the bowl and left their own so now it's the only dry food they all eat. Worth the money as is good for teeth and jaws and a healthy, glossy coat!

This by far and away the best kibble for the largest breed of domestic cat. It encourages my MC to chew rather than just inhale as it seems she does with smaller kibble and thus keeping her teeth cleaner and aiding better digestion. My British Short Haired also likes it so definitely not JUST for the MC but if you have a rather greedy cat who needs to slow down then this is the dry cat food for you!

Although my Maine Coons love this food, my 3 new Norwegian Forest cats love it to. They are very similar in size to Maine Coons. My 2 youngest NFC kittens (5 months and 3 months) They spend 2 hours every morning chasing the nuggets around the kitchen and then finally eating them. (nb. they do have some RC kitten food too!). Well worth the money - one of the few foods my cats never go off!

All 5 of our cats really enjoy this food. As others have said, it is nice to hear them crunching the food as opposed to them hoovering it up whole... it may actually help their teeth!!

Every Maine Coon cat should eat this food. I have been feeding mine on it non stop. He's now five and is magnificent. I do supplement it with wet food though as I think that's important. I also have a small rescue moggy. She also enjoys crunching the giant kibble. Excellent product.

I have 3 Maine Coons. A female silver tabby, a red/silver white male and a black smoke/white male. They all thrive on Royal Canin Maine Coon 31. Their coats are so beautifully soft and silky. They have been fed RC since they were tiny and then on to the bigger kibbles. They hear the bag being opened from behind closed doors and sing until they get their bowls. Only the best for my pusses!!

No idea why Royal Canin decided to only market this for Maine Coons. 2 Norwegians, 2 Siberians, 2 moggies - all love this food. I put down 3 different varieties and it's always the Maine Coon that's empty first. Young indoor cats, full of energy with excellent coats, just 3 furballs so far this year !
