New Recipe! 400g
NOT the 'original' fish Purizon!
I had been rationing out the 6.5 kg bag of real Original Fish for the last 6-8 months, while it was unavailable, trying to wean my fussy cat gradually on to something else, without much success. Then, Hooray! It seemed that "Your cat's favourite recipe is back!" But this is absolutely untrue. It's a new recipe, presumably to cut costs, and nothing like the previous food. The kibbles are smoother, flatter, a different colour, a different smell, and judging by my cat's rejection, a different taste

My cat was really ill with diarreah on this new recipe . Took a while to open as I had lots from the old stock as I don't like to run low .
Disgusting . He was in Purizon 6 years before the ingredients changed . I've just got him well on boiled fish and chicken and we are trying him on scrumbles .

Disappointed
I always order from this brand and was disappointed when my cats were not eating from this particular bag of dry food (only very liytle). Later on they were puking with this really bright green colour! I looked up and it was poisoning. Not buying again this particular taste. Had to through it all away (£25!)
Something has changed and it's not good
Loved these previously but after a short period of being out of stock they've returned with different packaging and the biscuits have changed. They absolutely stink now and my cats have been non stop pooping and both are not well. I bought 2 big bags so I wouldn't run out if there were any more stock issues and I'm going to have to bin the lot now.

Changed Recipe
I have been buying the purizonFish variety for years, my cats favourite dry food. About a year ago they’ve completely changed the product - different texture, no fish aroma, and judging by my cats reaction, completely different taste - my cats refuse to eat it now. Switched to TasteOfTheWild.

Congratulations to the manufacturer - you have completely ruined a great product (PurizonFish)- it now has different texture, absolutely no fish aroma, and no taste judging from my cats’ reaction. It used to be an absolute favourite in my household but about a year ago the purizonFish has completely changed as a product - for the worse, unfortunately (only the packaging hasn’t changed). I will now be buying from different manufacturer.

Disaster! Don't buy this!
My cat ate Purizon his whole life.
Around April, the formula changed and it completely messed up his digestive system. Now he has diarrhoea and goes outside the litter box. All tests came back normal, but switching food helped. I tried a few batches. It's a disaster, now I'm looking for a new food...

Disastrous change
I've had to stop buying Purizon cat food after the latest change in its formula. Both my cats started getting dandruff in their fur, which had never happened before. Plus, they didn't eat it with as much enthusiasm as they used to. Trying to cut costs at the expense of our pets is a really bad move. I've switched to ND by Farmina to see how it suits them, and so far they're eating it happily.

Why change a good team
I bought Purizon Fish because it had a good recipe and didn’t contain that cursed yucca. Now, from the very first serving, my cat has had diarrhoea and vomiting. The previous formula was much better. New formula is inadequate
I can only agree with the others. My gang of cats (10) loved and devoured this food from the very beginning. Since the new recipe, they eat it reluctantly or not at all. The high meat content has also been massively reduced, but the price of the food has gone up.

New formula – worse quality
It's such a real shame that we've "lost" Purizon as one of our long-time favourites. We've tried it a few more times, but unfortunately the new food just isn't anywhere near as high-quality as it used to be. It gets worse with every batch, the last Pebbels weren’t even consistent in colour anymore. Light on the outside, dark on the inside. What’s actually in it these days? Purizon Original Fish - new grain-free formula
I really can’t get my head around why they changed the recipe for the worse. It used to be really good food, but now not only is the recipe bad, the kibble is also much harder than before, and bigger too. I like to try everything my cat daughter eats and honestly, I was genuinely afraid I’d break a tooth. Worst of all, she doesn’t want to eat this food anymore. Thankfully, she mostly eats wet food and there’s still Purizon Adult Kabeljau Urgetreide, but I do like to have a grain-free kibble for her as well.

Disappointment
We’ve been feeding our three cats with Purizon food for 8.5 years. If a pet food company wants to ruin its entire brand, they could definitely learn from these guys on how to do it. Since the last batch, my cats have been constantly vomiting and having diarrhoea. Maybe they should have just kept raising the prices—we put up with that before—but we really don’t want to become regulars at the vet.
