My cat has just had a diagnosis so decided to give this food a try. She really enjoys pate type food and she really loves this one.

This brand is the only product my cat will eat and has kept her going for 3 years after first diagnosis of kidney disease. Recommend trying the turkey flavour. Thank you Integra & zooplus.

Having tried every sensitive food on the market, this is by far the best. My cat licks her bowl clean and she maintains a healthy weight. Great value on zooplus also.

Have been using the lamb and rice variety for a few months now. As others have pointed out, it is a very thick pate that will need mashing with a fork. However, it is exactly what it says on the tin: lamb and rice only. I am unsure what exactly my cats' sensitivity is, she gets soft stool periodically that ends up needing probiotics to firm back up, but since I have switched to this sensitive food there has been no further outbreak for months now. I also feed her RC sensitive and JWB turkey as a rotation but I consider this integra food the healthiest of the sensitive bunch.

My elderly cat of 18 years has been suffering from kidney failure for over a year. It was very difficult to get her to eat any of the other Renal Food until I found Integra Protect. She really enjoys this food and is not lost any further weight. Really recommend trying this product if your can is diagnosed with real failure.

My cat is 21 and has kidney disease but refused to eat the food prescribed by the vet. After trying various other renal foods without much success, I bought this food after reading the positive reviews and was not disappointed, she loves it. Highly recommended for fussy felines.

I recommend this to anyone that has cats with diabetes. I haven't been to the vet since I bought it, but my car sure does love it. Don't hesitate to give it a try!

My Toby has been diabetic for about a year and a half now. First he was on food from the vets, but that was a bit expensive, then i found royal canin Diabetic pouches, these were good, but again after a while he got fed up and was walking away from it. I found this and Wow, what a find. Hi coat is great, Soft, Fluffy, He's bright, alert and along with his twice daily insulin has a great quality of life for a 14 year old. I cannot recommend this food enough, at each glucose curve he was maintaining his weight, maybe putting on 100g or so. After feeding him this for 3 weeks, at his last glucose curve, it was one of the best they'd had from him, also he had gained a staggering 600g, Over half a Kilo, he is now the perfect weight, happy and Content. I can't recommend this enough :D

Very few foods are accepted by my cat with kidney problems. Fortunately she likes this one!

My cat with CRF loved this food, and most importantly a few months after her diagnosis her health is returning to normal :) I would definitely recommend! Specialist food plus medication from the vet helped get my cat back on track :)

My cat is diabetic, but I also have four other cats , all house cats, there all 11&13 yrs old, I feed them all integra diabetic food, they love , it keeps there weight down, as they get older they are not as active, my vet said most cats hate diabetic food, it's hard to keep them eating it . Not integra diabetic food I can guarantee they will have no problem enjoying this food , my own cats love it ,I am sure your will have no problem with it and healthy cats if there old or over weight can eat it , it will do them no harm , it will do them good, it will keep there weight down, and keep them healthy.

Very good dry food for cats with kidney problems

Three months ago my 5 year old cat Angus was diagnosed with diabetes. At first it was really hard. He wouldn't eat the special food and normal foods were giving him diarrhoea. He was losing weight steadily. After 4 weeks of this wet food (which he likes very much) he is fully recovered! His weight is stable, his hair is thick and shiny, and he plays and jumps like before he was ill. His water consumption has also returned to normal. The blood sugar is still pretty high, but it has lowered from 540 to 400 in a matter of 20 days. We hope (with the help of insulin treatments) to reduce it to even more acceptable values. I highly recommend this food, and it's also been approved by the vet clinic that's treating my Angus!

Our cat has an unknown allergy, and after trying several brands, this has been wonderful. Luna is much healthier and happier!! In addition there have been no more problems with urinating, and this food is a bargain! He loves eating it, when i open the bag he goes crazy! Highly recommended :)

My cat loves this food very much and eats it with pleasure. The carbohydrate content of around 7% is also great for diabetic cats, so this food is one of the few really good diabetes specialty foods (all the others have too high carbohydrate content and are unsuitable). The price is also ok, so far it's my current favourite :) Just a shame that there is only one variant available, a few more flavours would obviously be desirable (a matter for the manufacturer!)

I purchased this product for my diabetic cat, and he accepts it as well as the other brands I've used before. But I pay much less with this!

Rosie is a re-home cat we got a few weeks ago with no history known. A vet check revealed that she had early onset renal failure. The vets recommended the other two well-known branded foods. Rosie disliked both! She is also very fussy and our other cats food tastes wouldn't do either. Mince was the interim food until I discovered this Integra. Upon reading the reviews I ordered the three flavours. She loves all three flavours and is now able to assist with fighting her other ailments as she is a happier cat. I am so relieved.

My cat initially ate the food the vet prescribed, then went off it with a vengeance. This is the only food my cat will now eat on a regular basis, and at 22 she is a good healthy weight. Would recommend it to any owner desperately trying to get their CRF cat to eat.
