I must have tried well over 20 types of treats for my tomcat, but nothing really excited him. He was most interested in sticks, so I specifically looked for soft treats and tried the Cat Yums... with complete success! He loves cheese and liver sausage the most. Now I finally have the perfect reward for his puzzle board and clicker training. 5 stars!

Our cats go nuts over Yums! It seems for a treat to have decent ingredients but the best thing is they are soft treats which if you tear them apart you can hide portions of cat pills in them and then mould the treat back into a ball shape for easy pilling! Two of our rescue cats are fine with pills but our newest rescued family member wasn't treated nicely by her last owners so she gets very upset at being pilled. We were getting better with her, still needing two of us, but then my hubby broke his arm and I can't give Miss Lucy-Fur her painkiller for her hips on my own. So I put the pill in a Yums twice a day and bingo! She eats it with no problem whatsoever! I buy these for a friend who also has a rescue cat who won't take to being pilled either and she said the same thing, no problem getting a small pill or portion thereof down her cat. They are so super tasty they seem to disguise the taste of the pills even temgesic (buprenorphine) which I know after having it myself tastes awful. Our cats never seen to get bored of Yums either. The only problem is they want them all the time so we go through a packet quickly!

My tomcat is absolutely crazy about these. They're one of the few treats he actually manages to find when I hide them. He really picks up the scent and then goes on a hunt :) He even keeps searching after all the hiding spots have been 'raided' and sometimes plays with them as if they were a mouse.

The Yums are large, nicely soft cushions that even toothless seniors can't just swallow easily. You actually have to chew them, even without teeth. Not something you can always count on with Vitakraft, but commendable: no sugar added! A fine treat, though I do think the recommended (up to) 5 pieces a day is a bit too much.

We got the liver sausage ones as a Christmas treat for our cats. The cats love them, even the fussy cat. The treats absolutely stink though and make your hands smell too from holding them. Definitely not good for owners with a sensitive nose!

5 cats and an extremely picky dog are queuing up! Especially for the "Cheese" variety! Hopefully available in larger packs soon, as one bag is gone in no time once it's opened. Even the much-loved "Dreamies" get left untouched next to it!

These treats are absolutely brilliant because they "stick" nicely, making them perfect for preparing with tablets without them falling out straight away. You can cut them into 2-3 pieces, shape them into a small ball, and the kitty is overjoyed with her medication! Hopefully, Vitakraft sticks to this recipe!!!
