Popular snack
My cat is very picky; I don’t usually buy Vitakraft products, but she really loves this snack and pounces on it straight away. Her favourite ones are the ones with cheese. We’re happy with it.

Vitakraft Cat Yums - Liver Sausage
Each of my three cats loves these Vitakraft Cat Yums (liver sausage flavour). However, they only get 1-3 pieces per day.

For Vitakraft, really good
I'm usually not a fan of Vitakraft products, but the composition here seems to be quite good for once. Since my cat often has issues with her stomach and intestines, as well as her pancreas, I have to be careful, and she can't tolerate everything. Some treats, even seemingly "good" ones, she ends up vomiting. My cat practically wolfs these down. I always break them into three pieces and, if needed, hide her tablets in them. She doesn't even notice.

Perfect for hiding tablets
Anyone who has ever had to give their cat tablets knows that it’s not always easy. I’ve tried many things, but with the Cat Yums, it works best for me.
I use the salmon and liver sausage flavours, both of which my tomcat loves to eat. The Cat Yums are quite large. I cut them into four quarters with a knife. Depending on the size of the tablet, I then wrap a whole, half, or quarter tablet in one of the quarters. Since the Cat Yums are so nice and soft, they’re easy to shape. My tomcat ends up with little treat balls filled with medication, so the tablets don’t bother him in this form. Sometimes it’s a bit of a crumbly affair, but the main thing is that it works! Giving tablets is no longer a torment with this method!

Pure rejection
Bought spicy liver sausage.
Usually very interested in liver sausage cream!
Unfortunately, no interest at all!
Too big??
Cut it into smaller pieces!
No!
Third attempt: mixed it with beloved Felix BonBons.
Nicely picked out and left behind.
What a shame!

Tasty!
Both cats devour the cheese variety in no time at all. I haven’t tested the liver sausage yet, but since they generally don’t eat liver sausage, I’ll skip trying that altogether.
Highly recommended, even for picky cats like mine.

Gizmo would buy CatYeums :)
Since I bought the CatYums to try them out, the previously beloved crunchy pockets haven’t been touched anymore. Must taste really delicious!!!

Top
I was sceptical at first because my tigers only eat Dreamies as snacks; they won’t touch anything else.
But they devoured this too!
Top!

Super :)
My two kitties absolutely love the Cat Yums. 🐾
The only downside for me as their human is that the Yums are a bit crumbly and tend to fall apart easily. Otherwise, they're brilliant!

Popular with my cats!
These treats are a firm favourite amongst my cats. They are very smelly, but also lovely and soft and are gone in an instant!

A hit with my tomcats!
These treats are also a hit with my two tomcats. They do smell quite strong, but they're nice and soft and always get gobbled up quickly!

Price:
A small pouch (approx. 40g) costs around €1.29, though prices vary depending on the supermarket :)
Feeding recommendation:
As a treat in between meals. Max. 5 pieces per day.
Other flavours:
Cheese and liver sausage
Cheese: Just like the salmon flavour, absolutely fantastic.
Liver sausage: Appearance is similar to the other products, but the smell is truly awful. Even after tidying up the pouch, I couldn’t stay in the room because it still reeked of “cheesy feet” so badly that I felt nauseous.
And the cats didn’t like it either – this flavour was completely rejected by all 10 cats I offered it to for a taste test.
Appearance and smell:
They are very soft, rectangular, light-coloured with darker stripes, slightly reminiscent of fried bacon. They look genuinely appetising.
I must say, despite containing salmon, they smell really pleasant and not fishy at all. Truly excellent.
Acceptance by cats:
I have a tomcat, and as soon as the pouch was opened, he practically jumped onto my lap – something he hasn’t done with other treats for a very long time. He must have noticed or smelled that this was something special. And once I held it out to him, I couldn’t even blink before he had nibbled it and devoured it completely.
My mother-in-law, who has five cats, agrees with me. All five were immediately keen on the treats and would have probably snatched the entire pouch out of her hands if they could :)
None of the cats I gave these treats to experienced any vomiting or other issues afterwards.
Conclusion:
For me, and for all the cats in our family and among friends, this product is simply delicious and well-loved.
I can only give this product my absolute recommendation.
So, at least for the next few months, I’ve found new treats for all our cats, and these are much healthier and sugar-free compared to many other products.
However, none of us stick to the maximum dose of 5 pieces per day. We prefer to give them as an occasional treat, but not more than that. We all give about 2-3 pieces per day.

Very good
Our tomcat really likes the treats. I like them too because the ingredients have convinced me. I especially think it's great that they don't contain any sugar. I’m always happy to buy them again.

Brilliant!
These are great! My cat does that exciteable double purr when getting these! We have tried the Cheese and the Liver and both have gone down well. Plus high meat content and sugar free is a massive plus!! I can't work out tho if these are grain free? If so..then they would be even more fantastic. Both cats enjoyed and I can easily hide tablets in them if I wanted too. My elderly nearly toothless cat can get his gums round these. They are quite big but extreamly soft. I hope Zooplus get the Salmon variety in too. :)

Finally the perfect treat
I have tried well over 20 types of treats for my cat, but nothing really hit the sweet spot. The closest we came were sticks, so I looked especially for soft treats and found the Cat Yums. I decided to give them a go...and they were a massive hit! Cheese and liverwurst are his favourite. I finally have the perfect partner for clicker training and all the other smart stuff he does. 5 stars!

Finally, the perfect treat
I must have tried well over 20 types of treats for my tomcat, but nothing really excited him. He was most interested in sticks, so I specifically looked for soft treats and tried the Cat Yums... with complete success! He loves cheese and liver sausage the most. Now I finally have the perfect reward for his puzzle board and clicker training. 5 stars!

Great for giving pills and cats love them
Our cats go nuts over Yums! It seems for a treat to have decent ingredients but the best thing is they are soft treats which if you tear them apart you can hide portions of cat pills in them and then mould the treat back into a ball shape for easy pilling! Two of our rescue cats are fine with pills but our newest rescued family member wasn't treated nicely by her last owners so she gets very upset at being pilled. We were getting better with her, still needing two of us, but then my hubby broke his arm and I can't give Miss Lucy-Fur her painkiller for her hips on my own. So I put the pill in a Yums twice a day and bingo! She eats it with no problem whatsoever! I buy these for a friend who also has a rescue cat who won't take to being pilled either and she said the same thing, no problem getting a small pill or portion thereof down her cat. They are so super tasty they seem to disguise the taste of the pills even temgesic (buprenorphine) which I know after having it myself tastes awful. Our cats never seen to get bored of Yums either. The only problem is they want them all the time so we go through a packet quickly!
