It rolls everywhere!
This treat ball rolls very well and will end up in some very strange places but at least that means my Trixie is playing with it!
I really like that you can change the 'difficulty' on it (larger or smaller holes) because then it suits different kibble or treats.
It took Trixie just a few seconds to figure out how it works and with just one paw swipe she sends it spinning and gets several mouthfuls in one go.
I often use this to keep her busy when I'm out but also to give her an evening meal of kibble when I know I will be late home as it means she can't just eat all the food at once.
I agree with the other reviews that say it'd be better to take apart to wash but I think that would make it less sturdy so I'm happy to just leave it to dry on the draining board for a day or two.
If your cat doesn't like this toy then you're putting the wrong treats in it!!

Survives the occasional visit to the dishwasher :-)
It's well made and the hole size selection is decent.
My only suggestion would be to make it possible to fully dismantle for cleaning.
Treat Balls can wind up rolling into the strangest places (usually down the side of the litter pan).
It has survived a number of low temp visits to the dishwasher.
As an extra bonus, it fits in the top section of the CatIt Senses Food Maze! Slows down my gobbly mog even further ;-)

Good product, but no indepth instructions.
This is a great product. Our new cat loves to bat this about with either her nose or her paws and hoover up the treats that come out.
However, she very nearly didn't get to play with it as the limited instructions were not very clear in how to put this together. Either better instructions or just shipping the thing intact would be better.

Stops him scoffing the dreamies!
My cat really likes this toy. Once he figured out the treats were in it he was all over it. He's an indoor cat so it keeps him entertained and also stops him gobbling up all his treats in one go!

Loves it
Our kitty loves it. We filled it with dreamiest and straight away she was chasing it round round the from. Days later she's still not bored of it!

Good with a bit patience
Good toy but be prepared to teach your cat how to use it.

Great for indoor cats
My cat is an ex-stray and likes his food, but needs to keep his exercise levels up. The ball is really easy to use and although the cat often needs reminding what it's for, can entertain himself for ages with it. I feel a bit weird about having crumbs and cat saliva on the floor though!

Great to keep my cat entertained
I brought this feeder to keep my indoor cat active during the day. It took a couple of days before he would go near it, now he's got the hang of it it's brilliant! Only cons are having to sweep the crumbs left over the floor each day, and trying to find where he last had it so I can refill it!

Excellent, prolongs the time taken to eat dinner.
This ball is excellent, I put all of my (slightly plump) cat's meals in there and it means it takes her about 10 minutes to consume the meal rather than 30 seconds! Therefore by the time she has finished there is time for her body to recognise that she has eaten and she doesn't immediately request more food!

Still Trying...
It is such a neat toy but I just can't seem to get my kitten interested! I will keep trying!!!

Brilliant
I use this ball not as a "slimming aid" but to keep my cat busy. I don't use it every day.
My cat (I have 2, one is quite fat and totally indifferent to this product, the other is very slim and loves this) always asks for food and can sometimes be very noisy and gets quite agitated, so I give him this ball to roll around with 6-8 tiny treats inside and it seems to calm him down.
I think this is a brilliant product, you can use it with any kind of dry food because you can adjust the gaps to adapt to the size required.
My fat cat is not interested in the ball, probably thinks it's too much hard work!!
I bought a second one for my mum's cat who is old and needs some indoors activity.

Great for guzzlers
Thoroughly recommended if your cat eats too quickly or is putting on weight - my two Siamese eat like vacuum cleaners and will sometimes even eat so fast that they make themselves sick (apparently this is a common Siamese trait - nice). This ball slows mealtime to a crawl as they bat it around the kitchen floor releasing a couple of pieces of food at a time.
In fact, it's saved me a fortune as I used to buy pricy Royal Canin Siamese food which is specially shaped to be awkward to eat. Now I can fill this up with ordinary cat food and watch them eat it it slowly.

Great for little fatties
My kitten piled on weight after being neutured and had to become more active to loose it again.
He now has to work for his food and loves his ball. Great for balancing feeding with activity.
Easy to take apart and wash the fat & dust from kibbles off.
Also been stood on a fair few times but still going strong!!!
Another fantastic product.

Brilliant toy
Our cat loves this, and will play with it for hours. The only drawback is that bits of food sometimes get lodged in awkward places where he can't reach them - he then spends ages trying to get at them! But at least it keeps him out of mischief elsewhere.

Very popular
My cats love this and will play with it for ages. They are indoor cats so this is brilliant for keeping their minds and paws active without too much effort on the part of the owner! The only downside is that crumbs from the treats can escape through the holes onto the floor.

Slowing down eating
I got this to try and slow down meals and it does indeed work. Catus finds the smaller holes a bit frustrating so I have to compromise by making the larger holes half-size but he is happy to get his meals this way.

Good Bit of Extra Stimulation For An Indoor Cat
This ball gives a little bit of added stimulation for indoor cats. I never feed kibble simply left in a bowl. My cat always has to work for her kibble by pushing this ball and by using her activity board. Although she doesn't need to roll it far (don't imagine they'll be playing football for their kibble) at least it ensures she paces herself unlike other cats I've met who make themselves sick wolfing down their food.

Can't win 'em all!
A lovely idea but depite all my encouragement my young cat is terrified of the ball and won't go anywhere near it. I make sure I put his favourite treats in it too! I'll keep persevering!

Very impressed
I've never seen our cat play with something as long as he plays with this treat ball - well, he plays until he's determined that no food remains anyway, haha. Not sure how much exercise he gets but it certainly keeps him from inhaling his food in one go (which can't be good for him) and I'm sure it provides some amount of entertainment for him. The ball itself is sturdy enough, and it has a clever mechanism through which you can adjust the size of the holes to suit the size of the food.

Easy and stimulating
Currently teaching my cat how to use these! They are a great idea and the adjustable holes mean you can easily control how much food comes out. Fun way for the cats to get food.
