Product description

A great toy from PetSafe to keep boredom at bay and as part of a slimming programme for your cat. Suitable for all types of popular dry food. Diameter approx. 7.5cm.

The PetSafe SlimCat Treat Ball is made by Multivet and is a unique movement therapy for cats. It will help to keep your cat in shape.

How does it work: Simply fill the cat treat ball with dry food or cat treats of your choice and put it on the floor. Your cat has to roll the ball around in order to get to the food so it's a great way to give your cat a workout, especially if your pet is slightly lazy or overweight. It won't even realise that it's exercising. And it's also a good way to keep active cats amused and to prevent boredom.

Particularly indoors cats need to be kept active to stop them from becoming overweight or developing behavioural issues. The SlimCat treat ball is designed to appeal to your cat's playful nature and natural hunting instinct.

The PetSafe SlimCat Treat Ball at a glance:

  • Diameter: approx. 7.5cm
  • Colour: blue
  • Allows you to portion out the food
  • Compatible with the most popular brands of dry food and treats
  • Keeps your cat amused and deflects from unwanted behaviour
  • A great combination of fun and exercise
  • Combats obesity and helps your cat to maintain its ideal weight
Note:
As with any other product, please supervise your pet with this toy. Check the product regularly for damage, and replace the toy if it is damaged or missing any pieces to avoid potential injury to your pet.

Happy cat
One of my cats has had a treat ball for years and needed a new one. This is easy to open and fill aswell as staying closed. Good having the choice of small or big holes, well made.

Brilliant 🤩
Really good for stopping greedy cats ( like mine) from wolfing their food down in seconds. The adjustable slot size wonderful. He has to work/play for each individual piece, then actually appreciates it! Highly recommended 👍🏻

Cat understood it straight away
I was worried this would be another purchase my cat never used but he understood what he had to do right away. The mechanism to lock the hole size could be better but otherwise works well.

Brilliant!
My Ragdolls love learning new things and I thought they’d enjoy playing with this as they’re very treat orientated! It been a super hit!

Fabulous
My kitten wasn’t bothered with this to start off with and I was worried it was a waste of money. But once he realised food came out of it, it became one of his favourite toys! It’s a great way to give him access to food throughout the day, while encouraging a bit of mental stimulation and physical activity. It took some experimenting to get the holes just the right size, but I love how adjustable it is, so it suits different sized food.

Sturdy ball
Sturdy ball, easy to put treats inside and you can just wash it in soapy water. I have to break all the treats I buy in half so they can come out of the holes properly, but that's fine as it lets my cat think she's getting more! The cat is beginning to get the hang of it despite not being the brightest bulb in the box, so hopefully this will encourage her to be a little more active.

Cat adores this
I put a small amount of dry cat food to see how interested my cat was, pleased with my purchase as my cat adores this little thing. Would recommend for cats that are highly food motivated

Brilliant!
My cats absolutely love these treat balls. We use them every day as it slows them down when eating. They never get tired of playing with them, and it makes them work that bit harder for their food. Holes can be altered to suit different size snacks/biscuits. A great invention.

Holes are either too big or too small and it arrived warped
For standard cat food the smaller holes are just pointless, there's only certain brands whose biscuit size are that small. Secondly as the plastic was warped when it arrived, it was a nightmare trying to get the thing to fit back together; Arrived with half of it still together and the warped section not at all.

Works well
this was our second ball - both kittens love it and its slows down the greedy MC kitten eating his and then the other cats dry food!

Staple toy at my place
I have several of those balls for my two cats. It is used as one of the many round-robin feeders I have. The size of the holes can be varied but not very much. Thus, it gets easily too easy or some pieces get just stuck. On the other hand it is almost indestructible and fairly easy to clean if only used with kibbles. The good thing is that I can use it even with my no-interest-in-food cat, while having the second for my food-crazy cat which never has an ordinary bowl but loads of puzzle feeders.

Keeps my constantly hungry cat busy while we're away
I am quite pleased with this simple yet effective toy. It's perfect for a food-orientated cat who never knows when he's full. I only have to put the smallest amount of dried food in and it keeps him entertained for a while.

Cats approved of this ball.
My feline majesties highly approve of this ball. At first, they were hesitant but soon, they were battering it all around the room! It keeps them occupied and they feel as if they've achieved something. Smiles all round.

great way to entetain my indoor cat
We got one of these for feeding our indoor cat when she started to gain weight after nutering. We now have two and use them for at least one meal a day! It keeps her active and slows down eating so she will only eat when hungry, and the adjustable size in the openings allows for different sized food and adjustable difficulty!

Entertainment for both me and the cat
A few times a week I will put my cat's dry food in there (not treats). I love watching her being a little footballer, and she gets some stimulation and earns her dinner. I love the adjustable holes, the product wouldn't work without them. A good way for her to use up some energy for the days I feel a bit lazy.

Use for meals and part meals (too)
I use this for part meals of dry food rather than treats and our cat loves it! Almost an essential to our cat. He will sometimes leaves his meal (or part meal) to get the food from this ball if there is any food in it or left in it from the previous meal. This ball is great as a means of slowing down fast eaters and provides the cat with some mental and physical exercise - though with our cat that is at a slow pace and occasionally the ball needs 'rescuing' by us when it's trapped.

Entertaining
Bought this on a whim to keep our (indoor-only) cat Ollie occupied and engaged. Put it together, dropped in some Dreamies, and by the third showing Ollie had figured things out and started nosing the ball across the floor. It doesn't seem to keep him occupied for too long but he almost always gets his treats this way
