Good for a couple of plays
My 8.5 months old kitten played with it for a few times then got bored. All he did was try to put his paws in to catch the feather but it moves too fast, so he got bored. It still works but he just doesn’t play with it now….so like all his toys, it’s just lying around.

Well...
I can agree with some of the comments. The game is just way too fast, and I find it a shame that you can't adjust the speed. My cat gradually started to enjoy the game and was going wild by the end. Unfortunately, that didn't last long, as he managed to rip out the feather(s) and now has nothing left to catch. The toy isn't durable, as there are unfortunately no spare parts/feathers available. Fundamentally, the toy isn't bad, but it definitely needs some improvement.

Goes down well
Our cats were a bit sceptical at first, but now they enjoy playing with it. Unfortunately, the longer part of the feather was "lost" quite quickly, but even with the remaining part of the feather, it's still an interesting toy.

Favourite toy
I also thought that the feather spins way too fast... but one of my cats has a completely different opinion. It quickly became his favourite toy. He could sit in front of it for hours, sticking his paws through the holes 😄 The sound of the spinning feather was enough to send him into a playful frenzy!
Unfortunately, it only lasted a few weeks. Now the feather is so short that it can’t be caught anymore, so I’m deducting one star. Will probably order it again.

TV for cats
My two ten month old kittens love this and will sit and bat the feather for ages. For extra fun you can put toys in the holes to slow the feather down a bit and make the toys jump about.

Far too fast...
Once again, I forgot to read the reviews. The feather shoots through the box like crazy. It only comes out of the side holes, but not the top. Unfortunately, the speed can't be adjusted either. I looked at the thing for a moment and signalled to my missus that it’s completely uninteresting. We're donating it to an animal welfare organisation, hoping that kittens will have fun with it.

Need replacement feathers
Cats all love it, especially Ragnar who is quite destructive and has destroyed the feathers. Replaced them with some I found at work (I work in a theatre) but he has destroyed them again. Not the toy's fault, just a very destructive kitty.

My kittens love it
My sacred Birman kittens, 8 weeks old, absolutely love it! They spend ages playing with it, usually one on their own or the two of them together. I gave it to them for the first time when they were just over 6 weeks old. I actually thought they might be too young for it, since the feather spins so fast. Wrong! They were instantly fascinated and quickly figured it out. A brilliant investment.

At first, yes, a little...
At first, it was interesting and funny, but then, after 5 days, it hasn’t been played with since. Now it’s just looked at in boredom as the feathers fray, but that’s about it. 3 stars because it’s suitable for Maine Coons—the holes are big enough even for this breed.

Funny toy
Worth the money, the cat enjoys it. Spins a bit too fast, but the cat is still entertained. Recommended.

Well
At first, the toy was very popular. So much so that my cat almost destroyed it by pulling out the feathers. Now it seems to have become uninteresting. It's a shame that it breaks so easily.

Super!
All three of my tomcats are still playing with this toy even after 3 years. Unfortunately, our youngest has now managed to destroy the feather. It's a shame you can't buy a replacement feather. Normally, I wouldn't give any points because of that, but since it was such a hit and lasted quite a while, I'm only deducting 1 point!

Adapt it for best use
Once I stuffed things into it to stop the feather whizzing around so quickly, my cat loved it (scrunched up ball of tissue paper, little foil balls, toy birds). It means the feather stops and starts more often, rather than going around so quickly. Putting little treats inside really helps keep the interest going longer too.

Doesn't get boring and is "indestructible".
We've had the toy for about 2 months now, and all 5 cats play with it with undiminished enthusiasm. Pulling out or breaking the feathers isn't possible, so despite the cats' best efforts to get hold of the feathers, it's still in perfect condition!

Great activity
Our tomcat is absolutely crazy about the feather. The automatic shut-off is brilliant too. It switches off automatically after 15 minutes, so the cat doesn’t get overwhelmed. However, I do have to take it away from him straight away afterwards to stop him from yanking the feather out. This is met with loud protests. 😅

Good for a months and then died
It was a fun toy for the first month and then it died. I thought the batteries had ran out but I was wrong. New battery set and it won’t come back on. Also it needs a screwdriver to change batteries which isn’t ideal or practical

Far too fast
The feather spins way too fast!! Both of mine have a really strong hunting instinct, but even for them, this was too fast.
When I hold my finger in so that the feather just "snaps" back and forth, then they play, but that's not really the point of it.
For the summer, though, this thing will probably make a great fan, with the wind the feather creates from spinning so rapidly.

Hidden button
It took 3 adults an hour to find the button on the side. Same colour as the toy and flush with the side so v hard to detect. Our cat played with this for ages so we’re rationing her for now

Absolutely top-notch
This toy is absolutely brilliant. It's really very quiet, unlike other battery-operated toys. The springs shoot through and encourage my noise-sensitive cat to play. The large openings are also great for reaching the springs from above. I've had this toy for a little over a year, and so far, only one spring has given up the ghost. My cat has so much fun with it and never gets bored. For me, it's simply top-notch!!
