We were hoping this toy would be great for our house cat who is easily bored! However, I would say don't bother. The noise is intriguing for the cat but it is a solid toy that doesn't really move at all even if she knocks it, meaning it doesn't keep her entertained for more than a couple of seconds.

Yes red eyes flash, otherwise mouse does nothing is inert and silent. I bought two in expectation cat would love it .. cat unimpressed!
