Waste of points. Glad i didn't spend money on it though
It's okay close up but it's a bit of a weird toy really, your cat is expected to chase a logo basically...
It doesn't work if you point it to the other side of the room and i don't think this is meant to be used like a proper laser toy.
Just glad I didn't spend money on it

Poor Projection
This laser is not your normal single dot laser pen. It projects the entire fish, the further away you point the bigger and worse the light. My kittens lose sight of the light as soon as it begins to get bigger which isn't much than a couple of feet.

Not as expected
Our cats loved it - unfortunately the 'lasts approx 100 hours' turned out to be less than 5 hours before it was to feint to see.

Glad I got it Free
Good idea poor construction battery lid falls off and batteries go all over the floor. When it works it is brilliant. I am just glad I got it with points and did not pay for it!

Not good!
Ordered 2 - 1 was dead as a dodo, the 2nd worked but the light that comes out of it is poor, cats will play for a bit but not the same as a normal red dot laser pointer (the light is shaped like a fish with the words training toy). 1 was ordered with my points, otherwise would have complained. Wouldn't recommend buying these

Poor Pointer
This pointer is weak and my cat is absolutely not interested in it. In Comparision, my red dot pointer is still his favourite. For a free gift, it is rubbish!! Don't waste your money!

good close up but can't point the laser far away to play
The laser is a fish shape which I was not aware of but is fine, however, the fish fades and disappears when pointing it far away... lasers are a chasing cat toy so I found this laser pointless. It is only good for close up.

Should've checked before I bought it
it's not a laserpointer, it's a weird fish shaped light. You can barely see it unless it's very dark, and it's too big and faded when you shine it on the wall.

Cat liked it..... whilst it lasted
This isn’t a laser pen bet an LED tans it’s not great. Batteries lasted about 10mins tops and it only works at very close range. I gave it two stars because my cat enjoyed chasing it..... for 10 minutes!

its need s complete darkenss!
It is not like laser pointers, it has a white light of fish bone shape, which gets far too big if you are further than 1 meter, so the cat can't really see it, also it needs complete darkness, otherwise can't be seen

NOT STRONG ENOUGH!
Agree to previous comment -"it is a torch with a fish-shaped stencil on it"! If you have day lighting in the room and point it on the wall only meter away from you, you won't be able to see it, unless you have black walls ;) If it would be different colour, e.g. red, it might be easier to see it and play during the day, not only in darkness.

NOT A LASER POINTER
I had an old laser pointer. It emits an intensely focused red beam of light that you can see as a single, tiny point on the floor at your feet or at the wall 10 metres way (regardless of whether it's light or dark in your room). The cat runs excitedly all over the house as you move it around. That's what laser pointers do.
This product does not do that.
Instead, it is like a mini-torch with a stencil over the bulb such that the image (of a fish in this case) is projected. If all the lights are off and you point straight at the floor or at a wall just the right distance away, the cat goes crazy. If the lights are on though, or you point it at a surface a bit further away, the light dissipates entirely. The cat then very quickly cannot see the image (just as you can't) and loses all interest.
For the discounted price of £1.89 I guess one cannot complain (hence 2 stars instead of 1). But be aware, this is NOT a laser pointer.

Entertaining but Poor Quality
My cat loves this toy & would play with it 24/7 BUT it only works in low light levels and the batteries run out very quickly. Which is a pain as I'd need about 5 new ones a week to keep up the pace demanded by my kitty. It is cheap to buy however I will need to get a better one that takes 'normal' batteries. If you are not sure whether your cat will like this kind of toy it is cheap enough as a quick, throw-away test. If your cat already loves laser type toys get a better one.

Kittens love it - but 100 hours not! 10 more like.
My 3 kittens love chasing the fish, as soon as I go to the drawer it's kept in they assume position ready to play & play.
the reason I give it 2 stars is because I bought 3 of these, the first was the best the last 2 faded in less than 16 days using only 15-20 mins per day.
and with 3 batteries required would cost less to buy new laser torch.

Dissapointing
The old red laser dot pointer I had used to send the caats crazy, they would spend ages chasing the dot around the floor. This one is totally ignored, I don't know if its the size of the fish being projected or the colour but the cats are just not interested

*Sigh*
I bought this toy thinking it would keep my hyper cat entertained, but well... I think he's too smart to play with a laser pointer. He follows the wee fish on the floor with his eyes, but he won't move, and then he looks up to my hand, kind of like saying "do you really think I'm that stupid?". I was disappointed, but it was kind of funny. I've tried it many other times, but still no luck. He's just not interested. But I give it a "fair" rating because it works properly. Maybe I'll give it away to someone else :)
