Unfortunately, the laser moves far too quickly, and since the room where the laser is set up isn’t very big, the laser often ends up high on the wall where the cats can’t see it anyway, or on the backrest of the couch. But it moves so fast that they can’t keep up with it.

My crazy cat loves lasers, but he lost interest in this one after the first try. The dot moved so fast that he hardly ever "caught" it and quickly gave up. Every time I try again, he just glances at it briefly and then disappears. Such a shame.

The best toy I've ever bought. Sometimes, when I'm too tired to play with the kitties, I just turn on the laser pointer. My tomcat goes absolutely crazy for it 😊

I ordered it for my mum's cat, and she absolutely loves it. At first, I didn’t think she’d like it so much, as she’s quite particular and doesn’t play with just anything. Definitely worth giving it a try, we think it’s brilliant!

I think this thing is so cool, and so does my Lilli. She loves playing with the laser. The device makes constant noises. It doesn’t bother me or Lilli, but it could definitely get annoying.

Today, the whole thing looks much better. I just had to figure out where to place the item to spark her interest. And lo and behold, the right spot and off it goes.

The laser arrived within 1 day. We tried it out straight away. My Frieda finds it too boring because she hardly ever gets to catch it. She's more interested in the sound the laser makes. We'll see, maybe it'll become more interesting over time.

My lazy cat loves this toy. Worth every penny to get him on the move. Buy decent batteries and they last a long, long time in this toy. Really engages him for quite a long time and gets him jumping around for much needed exercise.

This almost eats batteries but then doesn't last more than a couple of months. (4 hours a week)

My two furry bundles absolutely love this laser pointer! I can switch it on multiple times in a row, and they never get bored. The great thing about this device is that it doesn’t harm the cats’ eyes, as the laser beam first hits a mirror before being projected onto the floor. I can only recommend this device.

My two tomcats are more interested in the sounds this thing makes than in the light dot. Besides, it moves relatively slowly. It's better when used manually, but in that case, I might as well just use a regular laser pointer. However, my cats generally lose interest in laser pointers after a short time anyway because they can't "catch" the "prey".

My 10-year-old tomcat has become rejuvenated with this. He runs and dashes around like crazy, I can only recom- mend it.

We have a dedicated cat room and have mounted the pointer on the wall. Direct staring into it is almost impossible. By adjusting the mirrors, you can vary it nicely. The speed cannot be adjusted. We turn the pointer on about twice a day. It switches off automatically. Our little ones are thrilled, Mum plays along too, Dad just watches. In my opinion, however, it shouldn't be a permanent toy.

I think the Frolicat is very good, it's just a shame that you can't adjust the speed. It's continuous, and that's a pity.

Every laser pointer is bad for cats' eyes, as the light—even when reflected—is very intense. On top of that, the cat will never experience a sense of achievement, as it will never be able to catch the red dot. It's only something for lazy people who don't care about their cat's well-being. The product itself might be well-made, but that doesn't change its unsuitability.

Superb cat toy for keeping your cat entertained on its own or for playing together with your cat. (Both options adjustable). Highly recommended!!!

Good idea, but not for my little ones. Unfortunately, my three indoor cats still haven’t gotten used to the noise, even after several months.

Apache is a very finicky cat & has no interest in most toys, but we got this about 3 years ago & it has been fantastic! She LOVES it & plays with it daily, for hours at a time. We have almost as much fun watching her hunt and try to catch the red dot as she does. It's not quiet, but if we need quiet we just go to another room while she's playing. This has made our cat happy, which has made us happy, and better still is that she isn't bringing in so many voles and field mice now. 😃

My cats love chasing the red dot, we previously had another laser toy that moved on its own, but unfortunately, it broke, so I ordered this one for a change. However, it’s somehow a bit slow in its movements. I might get the other one again, but the real hit for my two chubby ones is when I operate a laser mouse myself – then it’s “party time” in the house, and anyone who gets in the way has only themselves to blame.
