MY CAT IS OBSESSED WITH THIS
I can’t even describe how much my cat loves this toy - specifically the long feather attachment that comes with it. He’s enjoyed other teasers before but this is hands down the best one we’ve ever purchased. I think the way the feathers float when you move the stick is quite ‘life like’ and he’s just latched on to it, loves it as much two weeks on as the day he first got it. Every day he brings me to it to suggest we play with it, also loves playing with it solo. Best buy.

Their Favourite Cat Toy!
My young tabbies absolutely love the dangler! The extended, pliable pole and long chord allows the feather dangles to float through the air, encouraging leaping and pouncing. A superb toy of excellent quality and I'll definitely pop another one in my basket with the next order.
Absolutely brilliant
This is the best cat toy I’ve ever bought, & I’ve tried many over my lifetime of having cats. Both cats go absolutely bonkers for it, doing leaps & backflips trying to catch it. It of course helps when you wave it around specifically so it looks like a bird flying, and the flex of the pole & fine string allows this well. I have almost as much fun as they do! & such an incredible bargain! I wish the clip was rubber, so it made less of a clattering noise on wood floors, but that’s my only gripe.
Fun for all
Had a lot of fun playing with this with kitty. He seems to enjoy it a lot.
His favourite end bit is the one that looks a little like a feather bower.
Feathers came out of the other end bits quite quickly hence 4 stars.
Definitely worth the price.

The Favourite
Only 4 stars because the elastic never lasts very long. It's their favourite toy & I have to lock it away. Otherwise they will find it & chew the feathers off the elastic. However the elastic does need to be stronger because they try & run off with the feathers & I have to relinquish the pole before it breaks. Excellent long pole & feathers that don't fall apart immediately, it's very good value for money. I just have to find some strong elastic.

My Cats Favourite Toy
This is my cats favourite toy but it tangles around itself often and sometimes detaches from the stick.

Not as pictured
Our cat loves playing with this toy and having interchangeable toys keeps playtime interesting. However, the toy I received is not as pictured - instead of a clip mechanism as shown I received a difficult to use clip and lock system which is quite stiff. Would have preferred the toy as advertised but otherwise it’s lots of fun.

Excellent toy
My kitten is a fiend when it comes to feathers, usually destroying the toy after a few play sessions. This is great as it has the the three different attachments so the feathers are lasting longer. I’m using this as his special treat while harness training, so being able to swap the feathers around keeps him interested too.
It’s very sturdy, no breakage on the string and the handle can be lengthened which is useful if you have a large space to play in.

Missing the old version
We preferred the old version, this one tangle so easily while playing, our cat spend more time watching us untangling rather than playing with it ! Very disappointed

Do not buy
This is not as good as the old version of this toy. It comes with the string wrapped round the wand. It retains the twisting and kinks up far too easily. You’ll spend more time un-twisting it than playing. The attachment for the feather toy to the string isn’t as good as before either, it makes it far to easy for the feathers to get caught up in the string.
Our cats loved the old version, very disappointed in this new design, I would not recommend.
Very happy cat
I bought the original of these wands (with the ball chain part) and my cat has loved them ever since, when I noticed they had changed I worried he wouldn’t play with them despite the relief of them being safer toys. He absolutely adores them still. With the normal wands being out of stock I purchased this version and he’s very happy with the changeable feathers. We love this toy and will definitely be buying again in future. One very happy cat customer.

Best toy we have
This is hands down the best toy our kitten has. It's also the only one he hasn't got bored with within days. The downside is that we now have to play with it all the time and other toys are in a drawer.

Strange material for the stem
As an idea, it's great for a cat, but the stem/stick seems to be made of a fibreglass-like material. If the stick slips through your fingers, you'll have a splinter-like feeling in your fingers for hours afterwards.

The cat loved it
My cat goes absolutely mad for this fishing rod toy. He jumps, runs, and stalks it. You can just tell that, in his imagination, a real hunt is happening. When he catches it, he lets it go after a moment and keeps playing, instead of—like with other fishing rod toys—waiting for a treat or his bowl. The string does get terribly tangled, but honestly, the positives far outweigh that downside.

Extra fishing rod
I got one as a sample from some friends who are also cat parents. Both my cats absolutely love these wands. The little female cat runs to play with it as soon as she sees or hears it, she doesn’t even need a human to join in. My one-year-old tomcat, who never wanted to play near the little one before, also switches into hunter mode when the wand comes out. The feathers do get tangled and wear out quickly, but those are really minor flaws compared to all the positives. It would be great if you could buy just the feathers without the sticks, since they wear out the fastest.

My cats' favourite
And besides, all my friends who have received this rod from me love it too. I don't have experience with "the previous one", but this one is a big favourite here. I recognise the curling of the string with one of the three toys, but that's a small price to pay for the huge addiction these rods are for my cats.
And for €3.50 per rod, you can never really go wrong.

Can't be used for more than 10 seconds
The string curls up so much that the toy is unusable after 10 seconds. Unwinding the string is really troublesome. Last year I bought the same cat wand and had no problems at all.
