Loved dearly but poorly made
Our cats' eyes light up immediately at the sight of the feather dancer. Unfortunately, the fun doesn’t last long. We’ve already ordered the third wand. The first one fell apart at the connection between the flexible part and the stick after barely 5 minutes – without any strain. With the second one, the feather block fell out after 2 weeks. And we don’t even use it daily. With the third one, the feather block was already loose in the box.
Overall, it’s quite frustrating.
On the positive side, the feather block itself is very sturdy, and the feathers are well glued, especially the long feathers, which are quite durable. At least you can use the feather block as a throwing toy.
We’d really appreciate some improvements from the manufacturer!

Suitable for Bengals
Exactly the right thing for playful cats... The absolute favourite of our Bengal cat. A nice, long and sturdy rod, great for extending the reach of the human, yet still light enough to drag the prey across all surfaces. The longer, firm feathers are perfect for tugging and plucking, and there are even a few left... Why only 4 stars? After about a week, the spiral extension slipped out of the holder, though my attempt at gluing it has held so far. After several chewing attacks from the cat, the entire feather tuft came loose from the plastic sleeve. And this is where gluing becomes tricky, as it only holds temporarily. Conclusion – the cat’s favourite toy needs to be replaced, and I’ve ordered it again...

Excellent cat toy
My 6 cats go mad for this feather bouncer toy. They know where it's kept so wait outside the cupboard door for it. Any cat would love this toy & I have 6 cats. I've never seen them more so fast before but with this feather bouncer - they love it!!! I've donated several to the local animal sanctuary who have cat cuddlers who come in to play with them so this is brilliant fun. A***** Excellent product

Great
I have 2 cats, and this fishing rod is their favourite toy. I've tried many toys, but I will definitely recommend this one.

Super
A great toy for a super bouncy Bengal. Daxter has not yet managed to wreck the dancer yet and he has played with it for a few weeks now!

Feather Dancer Cat Wand
My cat Susi (8 months old) is such a whirlwind; she breaks everything and steals anything she can get her mouth on.
And when I read that even a dog couldn’t get the feathers off the rod, I thought, this might be perfect for my Susi.
But, I was wrong—Susi manages to get both the short feathers and the long feathers off the rod!
Oh well, but it’s still funny to watch her play. :)

This thing is absolutely brilliant!
I have never experienced anything like this before. My cat went completely crazy when I unpacked the Feather Dancer. It's not easy to tire out my energetic Somali, but this thing manages it.
Big plus points:
1. It encourages crazy play.
2. She even plays with it on her own.
3. Unlike the Leather Dancer, you can leave the toy unattended because there's no risk of strangulation.
Now for the major downside:
The thing was practically destroyed after 2 hours. I left her alone with it for an hour, and when I came back to the living room, I was met with a horrifying sight – the floor was covered in red feathers. It almost looked like a bloodbath.
On top of that, she cries and searches everywhere for the toy as if it were her baby – unbelievable!!!
So, if you're willing to spend €5.99 for relatively short-lived fun, I wholeheartedly recommend this toy. I'm now going to buy three more of them but will limit playtime to try and extend their lifespan.

My cats are crazy about the feather dancer.
For the past three days, my big British Shorthair tomcat has been obsessed with this toy—he just wants to play with it all the time. Finally, a toy that hasn’t been destroyed by him within five minutes! It’s only lost three feathers because he refused to let go of it. My little tomcat loves the feather dancer too, and when he manages to get hold of it, he growls and hisses at his buddy if he tries to take it back.

My cat is addicted
My very energetic young cat adores this. It has been his favourite toy since we got it months ago, and it is just now looking as worn as all the other feather toys do after a couple of weeks. It is also the only toy that he doesn't tire of. He even carries it from room to room and plays with it himself if no one will play with him!

Super toy
Our little tomcat loves his fishing rod toy and can’t get enough of it, even under an oxygen tent. Just to protect him from himself, we always have to keep it well hidden so he doesn’t forget to catch his breath. Our old lady, on the other hand, only engages in the occasional mock attack out of sheer politeness.
The craftsmanship is very sturdy, and after several hours of play, no feathers have come loose yet. So, from the current perspective, it’s a good value for money.

Brilliant!
My cat loves feathers! We've used many feather wands before. Sometimes she played with them, sometimes she didn't. In general, she loses interest in toys quickly. Not with this one! As soon as I pick it up, she's right there. She even brings it to me if I don't grab it myself :o). And this is from a cat that tends to be lazy! Brilliant toy, and despite intense attacks (from the cat – the dog ignores it), all the feathers are still intact.

Really brilliant
Up until now, the Leather Dancer was number one in our house. That’s changed. I’ve already had to find a new hiding spot for the Feather Dancer twice because even cupboards aren’t safe anymore.
Brilliant piece!

Super toy!
My cat absolutely loves this feather wand and keeps bringing it over for us to play together!
Even after 4 weeks, she still can’t get enough of it.
Despite that, it’s only lost a few feathers so far, so it’s as sturdy as the Crinkle Dancer.
I can definitely recommend it.

Conflicted
Two out of three cats say "OHGODWHATISTHISGETRIDOFIT" – and that’s coming from the two younger ones who usually play with absolutely anything they can get their curious paws on. But, of all things, my 8-year-old, who’s usually quite hard to motivate, absolutely adores this thing. She could chew on it forever and tug at the white feathers – they’re like thick whiskers. Points deducted for the rejection from the other two, but massive bonus points for my big girl rediscovering her playful side. So, we’re back to 5 stars. :)

Interesting toy
Since I bought this toy, my cat hasn’t been interested in her other toys anymore, which I don’t think is great. She used to be crazy about the Cat Dancer, and now she just ignores it. It’s all about the feather dancer now :(
It must smell interesting, as she noticed it straight away in the shipping box.

Unprecedented enthusiasm
My cat is absolutely crazy about it, and I really appreciate it too: thanks to the flexible part, it moves constantly, very quickly and unpredictably, and all the human has to do is hold it comfortably without waving it around – which gives the cat the impression that the feathers are moving on their own, which is probably what makes it so appealing. Despite attacks with all four paws and mouth, it’s very sturdy.

When cat eyes shine...
The absolute hit, our cats are unstoppable. We've tried plenty of toys before, but we've never seen such excitement.
