Does not work well.
Fairly soon after buying our first one about 12 years ago we discovered that it doesn't really work as they lead you to believe. And soon the grating ended up being removed and it was just used as a big enclosed litter box. Worse if your tom sprays backwards it can end up in the groove around the edge, ready to moisten your fingers when you tip the box to expose the clumps. At least they changed the bloody fiddly latches...

I guess it does the job but I wouldn't say scoop free or any easier than scooping
I bought this tray thinking I would never have to scoop again. I question if it is actually any easier than scooping.
-grid comes off when tipping
-wee sticks to bottom so have to scoop it off
- too much litter and it ends up in the tray
- too little litter you have a smeared box
- if the mess is at the back you have to tip it forwards to get it in the tray or it gets stuck behind tray
- tray started coming out when tipping
-mess smeared on the lid.
-grid hard to clean
-so slow to tip both way

Cheaply made rubbish
This is actually a fantastic design, but recent changes to the design leave the litter drawer too short. This results in only half of the dirty litter being left in the box, forcing the owner to waste extra time scooping or sweeping through litter filled with cat droppings. Such a shame because the previous model was damn near perfect and lasted over 10 years. New one is complete rubbish.

Leaks
Litterbox is bulky but the cats do not have much space in it, due to the rounded area and the scoop that gets in their way. The design suggests that you need to spin this litterbox in order to clean it, how ever the two halves don't fit together well enough and so it leaks. Even with the very clumpy litter there are still streams of urine that end up all over the box and floor. The cats really hated it after it's first few uses.

Good design idea, very poor quality
This is almost a good product. The design idea is good but the build quality is very poor. Where the grill piece bends split very early on, meaning the grill doesn't stay in place a lot of the time when "scooping". the top and bottom sections don't fit together that well so when turning it, litter tends to leak out onto the floor.

Ok - at first
I got one of these trays to try and save myself some work as I have 9 indoor cats and 10 litter trays. It performed as described, at first, although I found that, when topping it up, I needed to go through the remaining litter with a scoop to remove a few smaller lumps that escaped being filtered out. However, after a week of use, I noticed that the top part of the plastic filter grille, where it bends over to fit in the tray, started to crack, on the fold, at both ends, allowing clean litter to pass through into the drawer when it was rolled. This meant either losing a lot of unused litter when dumping the waste, or losing time scooping the waste out of the drawer to save the unused litter, and defeating the purpose of the tray. I have a replacement on the way, to see if this was a one-off fault, but if it develops the same fault, it will, unfortunately, have to be consigned to the dump which is less than ideal for a tray that cost the best part of €50.

litter tray
I bought this as somebody said it was fab.It is the worse litter tray i have had the clumping litter sticks to the bottom so when you roll it doesn't move it also sticks to the grill inside my cats make more messand more work cleaning it out with this tray then my last one which i am going back to it is a waste of money and very disappointed how much it was.

Good at first...
Saw this, read the reviews, bought one, took all old box litter trays to the tip ready for this miracle tray... BUT... This seemed to be great at first, but after a while it's become a real pain. It needs a thorough cleaning/disinfecting much more frequently than a regular box and I'm not sure our cats like being inside as the space is actually quite small. I regret buying this product, and discarding my box trays so will now have to buy new regular box trays from Zoolpus to replace this! I definitely wouldn't recommend this product for a multi-cat household, might be OK for a single SMALL kitty!
