Tigerino Plant-Based Litter Tofu Pellets - Green Tea Scent

Not sure if the litter tray is too shallow or my cats urinate a bit too much but the 'clumping' didn't do what I expected... it did clump in a way but stayed very tacky and made it difficult to scoop out. Lot's of the litter ended up sticking to the tray and I had to clean the tray earlier than I expected. Might be useful to some but not for us!

Bought this to try as our usual litter was out of stock. The pellets look like big green sprinkles. It doesn't track and if the cats bring any pellets out they don't travel far. However it's not great for flushing and the scent combined with urine is overpowering, it seems to amplify the urine smell

the pellets are very sharp, very uncomfortable when i touched it so must be very uncomfortable for little paws trying to dig and cover My two kittens each only put two paws in and came straight out and would not use it.

After two days, it smells terrible. We clean the litter box immediately after every use, but the smell still lingers in the room. Never had this problem with other cat litters. We chose the baby powder version. It clumps well, doesn’t spread, little dust, just a shame about the smell 😭😭

I bought it based on positive reviews, but I was disappointed. The good thing is that it's flushable and clumps nicely, but the smell of cat urine is quite strong in it. I have a sick kitten who stays with me in the bedroom, along with the litter box by the door, and you can smell the litter even though I clean the box several times a day. For someone who keeps the litter box in the hallway or somewhere they don't spend much time, it might be okay. I was also surprised by the colour, as it's almost neon green haha.

I used to like buying this litter. The last two deliveries were disappointing. The pellets are very light in colour, hardly any scent, and the clumps often fall apart.

For me, this was a bad purchase. I don't like the smell of it and it doesn't really trap odours very well. Half the flat smells like the litter, and if a cat's been to the loo, I can smell it in the next room. It does clump quite well though. The light weight is brilliant, especially with 5 cats on the 5th floor. Unfortunately, it's no better than the competition with pea pod litter either. I'm going back to bentonite litter. I'd rather lug that around... really a pity.

We tried the Fukumaru brand and it was great. We switched to this one because it was a bit cheaper, but the experience hasn't been good. The package says you can flush it down the toilet, but it doesn't dissolve well and stays at the bottom no matter how many times you flush. We won't be buying it again.

The litter itself is actually quite good. It clumps well and doesn’t get tracked all over the flat. The colour really takes some getting used to! I was pretty surprised when I filled up the litter tray. But the worst part is definitely the smell once the cats start using the toilet! It doesn’t bind odours at all, it just mixes the pee smell with its own scent, and that combination is absolutely disgusting! Even after cleaning straight away, the smell still lingers in the air. Really unpleasant!

I completely agree with Lucy's opinion. I ordered the 3-pack. Luckily, I still had some Cat's Best wood pellets left over, so I could switch back right away. The odour control was really bad. It smelled like a mix of green tea and ammonia—absolutely disgusting.

We wanted to try tofu litter and were tempted by the good reviews. It does clump the urine, but the cats don't bury their faeces. Plus, the urine smells extremely strong, even in the bin. On the plus side, the cats don't track much of it outside the litter box, only a little ends up in front of the toilet. The litter box itself has a very strong artificial green tea smell, which we didn't find very pleasant. We're switching back now.

We always used this litter but the sensitive, unscented version. Recently it’s been out of stock, so I bought the green tea scented one instead—I didn’t expect it to smell so strong and artificial. I poured it into the litter box and honestly, I feel sorry for my kitty. I absolutely do not recommend the green tea version.
