This tofu litter is very hygienic, economical and sustainable . Soya fibre is a by-product of tofu production, and it has been pressed to form lightweight pellets. These pellets create a water-soluble, clumping cat litter that can be disposed of in the toilet in an environmentally friendly way.

Not dusty and doesn't track

The only litter that doesn't track out the litter box, is not dusty at all and retains its smell very well

Amazing

When I got this, it sounds extreme, but it was life changing. No wonder it's out of stock right now. I was using cats best but it tracks everywhere and I was spending every day hoovering and sweeping. It was doing my head in as I have a real OCD about it and it was doing my nut in. I thought I would try this. It's so amazing, it clumps easily, goes down the loo and it DOES NOT TRACK. I have a mat that he steps out of and a little stays on the mat only. Smells great too. Life is easy again.

Best litter we’ve had

Used to use EverClean but had to change as that tracks everywhere and has become VERY dusty. We have two indoor cats, one of which has astma. This litter is worth the money! Scoops very easily, clumps perfectly, doesn’t stick, doesn't track(!), no dust at all! The smell is a bit weird, we think it smells like tobacco, but it’s not a strong smell so we don’t notice when we’re not cleaning the tray. The cats don’t seem to mind it either, all in all we’re all very happy!

Very sharp

the pellets are very sharp, very uncomfortable when i touched it so must be very uncomfortable for little paws trying to dig and cover My two kittens each only put two paws in and came straight out and would not use it.

Not a fan of the scent but it’s a great litter!

Clumps very well and the tracking is relatively minimal in comparison to other litters, I’m not fond of the smell I find it quite sickly but it does mask poo and wee smells pretty well. My cats seem to like it and it lasts a while.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined/often not available.

I was really impressed when I first started using the litter. A solid 5 stars. However, it’s already become dustier than it was at the beginning. Unfortunately, the product is also very often out of stock, which is tricky when it comes to cat litter. Here’s hoping for improvement in 2025!

Good, even better without fragrance

Overall, I think the litter is very good. It sticks less to the paws compared to all the others I've tested so far. But the "scent" is just an absolutely atrocious stench that you can smell throughout the entire flat. When the litter box is used, the smell becomes even stronger. When purchasing, I had hoped the scent would be subtle, but far from it. I've never bought litter with such a strong fragrance before. It doesn't even smell like green tea. It would be great if there were a version without any added fragrances.

Exactly what I was looking for

I've tried quite a few plant-based products, but they all produced dust and the granules were scattered everywhere by the cats – some of them didn't clump well either. But with this product, everything was different. Great clumping behaviour, no dust, the cats accepted it straight away, and hardly anything ends up outside the litter box. The only downside is that the colour and smell could be a bit more "natural", but the advantages mentioned above clearly outweigh this.

By far the best litter

I always had trouble with clumping litter and wood litter. These problems no longer exist with tofu litter. + it absorbs odours + it clumps brilliantly + it hardly sticks to paws + easy disposal in the toilet + relatively lightweight for transport - the green tea scent isn’t my favourite; I much prefer the milk scent from the same brand - my tomcat needed a few days to get used to it. I think the results speak for themselves.

Perfect!

It hardly creates any dust at all. It doesn’t get spread around the flat. It clumps surprisingly well and quickly. Even with a small amount of litter in the tray, the clumps can be removed very easily and don’t stick strongly to the bottom. This means it can still be used effectively towards the end of its lifespan. There are also no litter residues left behind when disposing of it via the toilet. The only downside: the price is a bit higher. You need at least three bags for a large tray. But it’s worth it to me!

Top bedding, if it weren't for the smell.

Positive: Due to the shape and weight of the litter, it hardly gets spread around the flat at all. Nothing sticks to the paws – brilliant! Additionally, the litter clumps very well and is genuinely low in dust. Negative: Smell and odour development. The scent, in my opinion, takes some getting used to, but more importantly, it’s far too strong. The odour development with used litter isn’t good; it smells unpleasantly of cat urine. At €16 for exactly one litter tray filling, the litter is also quite expensive.

Cat litter of the gods

After a long search, I finally found the litter that meets all my criteria: 1. Made from renewable raw materials 2. Clumps incredibly well! 3. Doesn’t absorb any urine smell 4. Doesn’t get carried out of the (hop-in) toilet, even by long-haired cats (5. Bonus: doesn’t create dust when scooping) I could do without the scent. It (green tea) is pleasant but intense, and for my cats’ sake, I’d probably prefer to go without it.

Clear recommendation to buy!

The tofu litter beats Cat's Best in every respect for me. The most important point is that I no longer have to vacuum the bathroom twice a day because hardly any crumbs get carried out. The odour control is excellent, and the clumps are firm, which makes cleaning easier. You can dispose of everything in the toilet without any trouble, so you don’t have a smelly bin lying around. My tomcats love it, and so do I.
