Tigerino Premium Cat Litter - Baby Powder Scent

it's ok so far but i find it will get stuck/sticky to their paws and that would be all over the house and I'm also scared the cat would eat it. Also it would stick at the bottom of the litter box which makes cleaning a bit annoying.

Got the XL multi cat version, baby powder scent. The cats accepted it with no issues but it seems incapable of handling the smells…in a robotic litter unit where it’s emptied every few days the smell builds up and stinks the house out. Recommend Ever Clean multi cat instead.

I bought this litter as a substitute as the usual litter was sold out. The litter does clump really well but it tracks through the house. Another problem is that it sticks to and in between the pads of my cat.

I have bought this for a while but I’m not sure what’s happened. I use a litter robot and notice the clumps are huge and stick to the base of the robot like cement, it used to clump and drop into the box on cycle it no longer does that

This is great litter but lately the gradual size has reduced and hence tracking has increased. Some days I’ve had to clean between my cats paws something I’ve never had to do before. Tigerino, please increase the grain size.

I agree with Anita’s review below. I noticed the same. Litter used to be very fine and smell was very nice but now it’s a bit rough and when I scoop the balls fall apart... I will give last chance to litter with different smell. If the problem is the same I think it’s time to find new brand...

As cat litter goes it works okay not as good as the golden grey. Clumps are very sticky. Main issue was the awful smell - i bought lavender scented by mistake - I found the "scent" very sickly so had to ditch it in the end.

I have 2 cats and it works great with them, no bad smell suuuuper clamping and easy to clean. most of the review are complaining because the tray is very difficult to clean, but I didn't find this problem. however, the "complain" that I have for this litter is that I find sand everywhere even with a mat to catch litter. So I'm not 100% satisfied

After reading all the great reviews on here I was expecting to find, at last, the best ever cat litter! But how wrong was I? I'm so disappointing with this product. Firstly it's like fine sand so I had to purchase a fine cat litter scoop. I put loads in the tray (15cm) which makes it sooo heavy, and my cats wee still manages to soak through to the bottom getting stuck on the bottom of the tray. It's a military effort cleaning it each evening and I seem to spend about 10 minutes sifting and panning for cat poo and wee, urgh. Topped off my the most horrendous smell which makes me gag. It's a week tomorrow I filled it and I think I'm going to have to empty the whole lot and refill. I have 2 massive bags of the stuff to get through too ..... will definitely go back to Catsan which in my opinion is the best I've found for easiness and minimal smell.

I have been using TigCanada for years because my cats took to it and it's mostly good so I was afraid of wasting money on something new that my cats wouldn't use. I'm so fed up of the tracking though. Litter gets everywhere around my house! The different scents are nice and as long as my cats bury their business their smell is contained and it's very easy to clean out the clumps. Sometimes they break up or it can get stuck to the tray but it works fairly well. It is very dusty to pour in though.

I'm giving this litter 3* as I have very mixed feelings about it. Positives: - Clumps really well, and this makes it very easy to clean the litter box. - Nice scent, which after 2 weeks hasn't changed or become intermingled with cat pee smell, probably because it clumps so well. - Good price as it seems to be lasting a good amount of time with 3 cats (all outdoor cats, but 2 who prefer to go indoors 99% of the time due to growing up in a desert!) Negatives: - To get it to clump so well, you need it 10-15cm deep, as suggested. My cats seem to manage to flick this everywhere as they like to have a dig before doing their business, and again afterwards. We have wooden floors so it's easy to see how far this is going. - tracking. Not only does it get flicked everywhere, but the cats get lots stuck to their feet. Jack(cat) managed to walk it from the litter box upstairs, all the way down onto the sofa, where he then grooms himself. - ingestion. Needless to say, with the amount of litter sticking to the cats feet, im worried about the amount they are potentially ingesting. Overall, pleased with price, clumping and smell but unhappy with tracking, mess and potentially being ingested by the cats. Was previously using World's Best Cat litter, which I think is expensive in comparison, and although it clumped well, the biodegradable litter did start to take on smell, even when cleaned regularly. However, tracking not such an issue, and being biodegradable is less likely to be harmful is eaten when grooming. Very tempted to switch back.

... we've been using this cat litter in several litter boxes for years. After the last order and refilling the boxes, the cats are avoiding them and prefer to pee elsewhere... in front of the litter box, in the bathtub... Something about it seems to bother the cats. I haven't figured out what yet. We'll have to try a different litter.

I've been buying this product for my cats for a long time. Unfortunately, the litter no longer has the same quality as before. The clumps don't form as well and stay wet... and the scented smell is missing. The scent lasts for about a day, then you'll start to notice the smell of urine.

Good fine sand, not much ends up outside the box, clumps well. However, it doesn't keep bad odours away.

I actually thought the litter was great – it clumps well, lasts a long time, and is affordable. Now, a second kitten has joined us and started licking the litter and cleaning her paws afterwards. Twice, the little one had trouble passing stool afterwards. Once, it got so blocked up that the stool stayed in her gut and she ended up with diarrhoea. I replaced the litter straight away. I don’t think I’ll use it again, I’m just too worried about my kitten. Such a pity.

By now, I'm really torn after reading the latest reviews. At first, we were genuinely very happy with the quality. Then I thought maybe it was my fault because of Premium, Ultra... Did I miss something? No, the quality is definitely worse. Our cats drag out damp granules, the clumps are more like puddles and are harder to dispose of. Our cats don't "bury" anymore. Looks like we'll have to look for alternatives. What a shame.

Suddenly starts to smell faster, even though I clean it every day.

Normally, the sand always has small grains, but a few times I got larger grains and that wasn't nice because they stick to the paws more easily and the smell was also different from the baby sand. So please just stick to the product as it always was.

I’ve always been so happy with this place, but in the last few weeks/months I’ve noticed it’s not the same as it used to be. The smell isn’t as fresh anymore and it starts to stink quicker. It never used to smell at all before… Also, sometimes the bags arrive torn.

I expected more from this litter for the price. It’s true that the grains are quite fine, but when it gets wet it turns into chunks of cement that stick to the bottom of the tray and the tip of the scoop. It also gets stuck to my little one’s paws quite a bit. It masks odours, but nothing to write home about. For what it costs and the reviews I’d read, I thought the quality would be much better.

This used to be my top bedding, which I’ve been buying for years. Like people are saying below, I’ve also noticed the quality isn’t the same as it used to be. It’s not the worst, but it’s just not right. I might try something else now… but it’s a pity. We want the bedding back that we were used to…

The cat litter was bad, very coarse-grained, I had to sift it by hand.

I've been a loyal customer of this product for nearly ten years, but the last batch I received is nothing like the quality that used to make me buy it. The litter clumps less, doesn't absorb odours as well, and the talc scent is now only noticeable when you first open the bag. Such a shame! And all this without any mention of a new formula from the manufacturer. Really disappointed.

We have three Orientals and until recently, this litter was our best and favorite. Clumps wonderfully and the smell is well contained. However!!! It used to be low-dust, but the last deliveries have been incredibly dusty. You have to hold your breath and turn away. After just one day, there’s a layer of dust on the furniture nearby. Such a shame and not ideal! Either lower the price or go back to the low-dust quality.

I’ve bought Tigerino with baby powder before, and the clumps used to form and harden quite well. But this time, I noticed right away that the litter is darker in colour, and besides that, the clumps break apart really easily, instantly, and the rest of the litter stays dirty.

The litter is good, the cats accept it without any problems. We've ordered it several times already. But we keep having issues with the deliveries. Today, half the bag had spilled out, with two openings at the seams. In previous deliveries, the seams had also burst a few times and the litter was in the box, just not as much as this time.

I buy 1x12kg or 2x12kg, which is a great price for top quality—the best litter. But every time, the parcels arrive burst open from the weight; the boxes just aren’t strong enough for that kind of load. I’ll buy again when I’m sure the parcels will be sturdier.

I find that the quality has changed... more dust and especially before, it used to last a good week without too much smell, now after 2 days the smell of urine is really strong. I’m very disappointed...

Unfortunately, since the packaging was changed, it often breaks during transport. Also, the product itself isn’t the same anymore. Such a shame.
