This litter is the best. Absorbs odour very well, clumps perfectly and stays overall cleaner as the grains get clumped together well. Very happy with this finding!

Made of bentonite, look it up.

This has very fine grains which are the preference of our picky cat, so he seems to like this one, versus others we where he wouldn't even put his feet on the surface. From our perspective as tray-cleaning slaves, the litter forms very firm clumps almost instantly, which are easy to lift from the remaining litter, so this works out very economically in the long run and is easier to keep clean for longer than other types. Only lightly scented, so doesn't deter the cat from using. Will buy more!

The litter does the basic job of being a cat litter. However, the smell of cat pee is not hidden. My house smells of cat pee right now so if you're looking to get something to hide the smell - do not get this. The granules are very small and track easily in the house and feel like dirt and sand on the floor. I'm now stuck with a box of it!

Very good strong clumps with this! However a bit too pricey when you have 3 litter trays around the house. I’m going to stick with sanicat oxygen power as the slightly better clumps aren’t worth the upgrade

Bought this because the usual sanicat was out of stock. The cheaper sanicat litter just doesn’t work but this stuff is brilliant for clumping. Cat was a little unsure of the scented litter at first but seems to be happier with it in a short space of time. No faults.

Effective clumper, terrific smell that lasts. A little dustier than other ultra clumpers i buy. Great packaging, easy to store and handle. Packaging is recyclable so better than plastic bagged litters.Cats really like it!

Very good for the automatic litter box!

A complete disappointment. I've been buying this litter for years and it used to be perfect. It clumped really well and didn't give off any dust at all. Now, the urine clumps fall apart as soon as you pick them up with the scoop and there's loads of dust. Plus, the smell gets worse because it doesn't clump properly. I'm really disappointed with this product. I see it's the same with all the litters on the market, so I guess I'll have to switch to pellets...

It's like fine beach sand, it keeps the smell in really well for about a month, but after that it starts to smell bad because the pee clumps it but not completely, so for that part I'd give it a 7/10. For the poo, 10/10, and my cat loves it, she even wants to play with it. My final rating is 9/10.

I'm absolutely satisfied with this cat litter. It does exactly what it's supposed to – sometimes it smells a bit too strong, but that's not really a bad thing.

Worse than any supermarket own-brand litter, it doesn’t clump at all and starts to smell absolutely awful straight away.

We’re really disappointed with this litter – it doesn’t clump, it just turns into mud. It smells bad and stinks. The cats won’t go near it at all. One big disaster. Never again.

I've tried lots of litters and haven't switched for 2 years now. This one clumps the best, no dust at all. The downside is that it's way too expensive, and if you have several cats like I do, it ends up costing a fortune.

Paid too much and it doesn’t do what it promises. I have an automatic litter box and ever since I started using this litter, there’s a smell of pee in the room and it doesn’t clump well, so I end up having to clean up all the tiny lumps by hand. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Up until my orders in October 2025, SANICAT STRONG CLUMPS litter was fantastic—excellent clumping ability, 4 out of 4 stars, and absolutely no dust, also 4 out of 4 stars. But from the next order onwards, the same litter barely clumped at all, just 1 out of 4 stars, and produced loads of dust, 0 out of 4 stars. Honestly, it was just like an absorbent litter... and one of the worst quality ones at that. As of today, I see they've changed the box design, but the litter is still really poor quality. They must be mixing Wyoming sodium bentonite with Turkish sodium bentonite.

Good quality, no smell and compacts really well

This is the worst cat litter I’ve ever seen. They make it such a dark colour that you can’t even see where your cat has done its business, which makes it really hard to clean. I compared two types and I’m not even going to use one of them—what a load of rubbish.
