Sanicat Active White Lotus Flower Clumping Litter

I used Sanicat clumping gold for a long while, but after a couple of days there was always a smell of wee despite clearing out the clumps. So I gave this one a try, and I prefer it. It clumps well and the slight scent is fine, but again is not great at odour control. After using this, I have found a silica litter which I much prefer. But if you like microgranule bentonite litter, you'll like this.

brilliant, lasts ages, clumps great and no odour

Bought it hoping it would live up to what was promised, but unfortunately not. It creates a lot of dust when you pour it in, and the scent is fresh only until the cat has used the litter box once, even though we clean it after every visit. It clumps well, but a lot of sand ends up on the floor when the cat leaves the box—it just sticks to their paws, even though we have a large, closed box with high sides. I have to say, I'm disappointed with the quality and won't be buying it again.

I bought it to try it out because Ever Clean has become really expensive. The whole flat stinks... This smell is unbearable. I feel like I'm living in a litter box. I guess I'll have to go back to the expensive litter, because you can't smell that one at all. I strongly advise against this one, unless you have no sense of smell.

It's like fine beach sand, it keeps the smell in really well for about a month, but after that it starts to smell bad because the pee clumps but not completely, so for that part I'd give it a 7/10. For the poo, 10/10, and my cat loves it, she even wants to play with it. My final rating is 9/10.

Good quality, no smell and compacts really well

This is the worst cat litter I’ve ever seen. They make it such a dark colour that you can’t even see where your cat has done its business, which makes it really hard to clean. I compared two types and I’m not even going to use one of them—what a load of rubbish.

This litter was a huge disappointment. I’ve never experienced anything like this with any other product—the poop just crumbles instead of staying compact. The result is that cleaning becomes a nightmare: the little pieces fall through the scoop and stay in the litter, making it impossible to remove them properly. In the end, you just waste time and end up with a litter box that’s always dirty. Definitely not up to expectations.

I think they've changed the formula and now it's really dusty, which isn't good for cats breathing in that dust, and on top of that the floor ends up covered in litter, which didn't happen before. The good thing... it clumps well. I find it expensive for the quality it has now.
