What a shame!!!
Just three months ago, I was very happy with the litter, but now it doesn’t clump, smells after just one day, and gets spread all over the flat :-(

wouldn't buy again
Like most cat owners, I am on the eternal hunt for the perfect cat litter, this isn't it. I have 4 maine coons with beautiful long coats, fluffy tails, and extremely furry toes, which is obviously why it does stick to their fur, most breeds don't have such furry feet, so not really suitable for this breed in particular, it does track quite badly because of this, but not anywhere near as bad as the plus (my house looked like an explosion in a porridge oat factory!), and it doesn't clump extremely well either, when you try to scoop it out it falls apart and leaves small urine soaked bits still in the box which in turn start to smell, which defeats the purpose of using a clumping litter in the first place. It doesn't last as long as the plus,it doesn't clump as well as the plus and it's more expensive.

Quality varies greatly
We've been using Cat's Best Nature Gold for several years now and have always been very satisfied. Since mid-last year, however, there have been noticeable differences in quality – some batches are as good as usual, but others are not. The pellets are larger than they used to be and don't clump as well anymore. I contacted the manufacturer and zooplus last year, but I was repeatedly assured that the new batches would return to the usual quality. Unfortunately, that's not the case!! I'm now looking for alternatives.

The best cat litter I've ever had
Really great litter, excellent absorbency and odour control, with a pleasant wood scent. And the best part: absolutely no more litter scattered around the flat – at most 2-3 pellets right in front of the loo when my Coonie sprints out of it. The only downside is the relatively high price – but it saves you loads of vacuuming work.

Clumps poorly - no smell
I've switched back to Cats Best Öko Plus. This one does clump, but unfortunately, the clumps fall apart when you try to clean the litter box. The Öko Plus is definitely better in that regard. Neither of them causes any odour, so they're both great!

excellent cat litter
This litter is excellent. Hardly any mess, clumps well and for a multi cat household it is brilliant. I tried the oko plus which was good but very messy with litter being tracked everywhere. This is as good but without the tracking. The only downside is the price. Much more expensive than the oko plus which is always the same when you find something that works.

The quality has really gone downhill lately!!!
This cat litter used to be our absolute favourite for a long time. With three cats, we finally had no more issues with litter being scattered around the house. That was the most important criterion for us. Another plus was the convenience of disposing of it via the toilet. However, for quite some time now, the quality has deteriorated so drastically that the price is no longer worth it. The litter becomes powdery after just two days, and the pellets are very reminiscent of Cat's Öko Best, ending up all over the house. It also doesn’t last as long anymore and needs to be refilled much more frequently. Such a shame, but I can no longer recommend it.

Unfortunately not convincing
We've been using Öko Plus litter for years. After reading many very positive comments, I wanted to give this litter a try despite the higher price.
I can only confirm that at least the current batches hardly clump, which, given the size of the pellets, leads to very high consumption as everything gets mixed up when scratched around.
And my two 6-year-old tomcats think the large pellets are great toys, throwing them out and shooting them all over the flat.
It might not be what the inventor intended, but they're having fun with it... ^^
So we'll stick with Cats Best Öko Plus – less waste at a better price!

Clumping has recently become poor
We have been using this litter for quite some time for our two semi-long-haired cats, as it doesn’t get spread all over the flat. Unfortunately, the clumping quality of our last two 20-litre bags has left much to be desired, so I have to agree with the previous reviewers! At this price, we cat owners should be able to expect consistently good quality, shouldn’t we?! I hope the next bags will be of higher quality...

Quality is no longer great
I breed Maine Coons and have always been thrilled, but now I'm mega disappointed. It doesn't clump or barely clumps – what's going on here...

Significant quality fluctuations
We've been using this litter for quite a while now, mainly because the cats don't track much of it outside the box and because it can be disposed of via the toilet. However, the quality varies and has been getting worse lately. With the last two bags, we noticed that it hardly clumps anymore, which meant the litter was used up in half the usual time. For the price, that's too expensive – it really shouldn't be a problem to maintain a fairly consistent quality...

Very impressed - furry friends not happy!
What a shame. Finally no more of that bentonite smell in the air or crunchy litter underfoot. These wood pellets clump really well, and the scent is pleasant – subtly woody.
Unfortunately, ever since, my tomcat prefers to pee in the bathtub, and my other two cats look rather unhappy when they have to use the loo. The pellets are probably just too coarse for the cats. I won’t be buying this litter again.

Pretty good
The litter is good, but I have to say it gets used up much faster than the regular litter. And on top of that, it’s much more expensive.
Other than that, it’s good though.

Excellent pellets and no dust
These pellets produce no dust (less cleaning around the litter tray) and are super absorbent and flushable. Brilliant product!

The best choice for Maine Coons on the market
The Nature Gold Pellets are great for our Maine Coons and were immediately accepted. Unfortunately, since the new packaging, the pellets have become slightly shorter, which leads to more unwanted cat litter around the house.

The best cat litter I know!
We used Cat's Best Öko Plus for a long time, which was already very good in terms of clumping, durability, and disposal. However, we were bothered by the "fine crumbly texture." Even though we have a short-haired cat, the litter spread all over the apartment and quickly started to crumble and create dust.
These drawbacks have been completely resolved with Nature Gold. Thanks to the coarse pellets, hardly any litter gets carried out of the box, and it doesn’t crumble or create dust. I also don’t find the size of the clumps excessively large (as mentioned in some reviews). It’s still easy to dispose of via the toilet and lasts forever without smelling bad. (Of course, you need to top it up occasionally.)
All in all: Fantastic litter that’s definitely worth the price!

FANTASTIC PRODUCT!
Up until recently I have always used Catsan, but now living in a 2nd floor flat, I decided to try Cats Best mainly because it is disposable. Because I have 4 cats, there used to be a lot of cat litter to get rid of but now I can just flush it down the toilet. As one of my cats is long-haired I changed from the ordinary Cats Best to the Gold and it is wonderful. I won't be changing again!

strongly recommended
this product is the best till now as ive tried the original one, but my kitten is a ragdoll and she would carry some of them around, and the original one is a bitter smelly, this one is not, and suitable for long hair kitten.
in all, nice, clean, clumps well, last for a week, usage may be 6-8weeks/20L

...for those plagued by litter, THE cat litter heaven ;-)
After an odyssey through the range of cat litters available, I find this to be the best clumping cat litter currently on the market. The natural material is fantastic for the cat's health. When freshly filled, I personally find the smell quite pleasant – though this fades after about 4 weeks or so. How quickly this happens depends on how long the clumps remain in the litter box. If you clean it frequently, the remaining pellets don’t absorb the unwanted odour as much. That said, I still replace it at intervals I choose myself, as over time, aside from the smell, the pellets also start to crumble, and not every soiled pellet (depending on how skilled you are with the litter scoop) ends up in the toilet. The crumbling is unavoidable, as the cat constantly steps on it and digs around, so in my opinion, it’s not a manufacturing defect.
In terms of performance, the litter is very economical, and the clumping is impressive. I absolutely have to mention that almost nothing gets tracked out of the litter box anymore! What a relief compared to the non-pelletised versions!!! Another great feature is that it can be disposed of via the household toilet, although this does mean the toilet requires more frequent cleaning. For me, two clumps at a time work fine; more than that becomes tricky. ;-) The acceptance is good, although my furry friends have never had any issues with it.
Now, after all this praise, let’s move on to the downsides: the litter is relatively expensive, and at the moment, you can only get it online (on the other hand, it gets delivered right to your door!). Thankfully, larger packs are now available – I’m referring to the 20-litre pack. A minor drawback is the dust. While the dust generation is relatively low overall, the residue that settles around the toilet in the bathroom is unfortunately hard to clean. Lastly, there can be quality fluctuations. In one delivery – which I didn’t have to pay for – the pellets were already half crumbled.
In conclusion: Of course, in my opinion, there’s always room for improvement, but what’s ever truly perfect!? :-) And that’s why it still gets 5 stars, which it absolutely deserves compared to other clumping litters!

Having found this I wouldnt use anything else!
I have a long haired ragdoll and other products I've used either stuck to her coat or ended up everywhere in the house. This is a fantastic product. The pieces are large so there is hardly any 'tread'. I clean the litter tray daily and simply flush the clumps down the loo. I'm quite new to cat ownership and was worried that the litter tray might smell but it TOTALLY does not! All down to this product I'm sure (plus regular tray cleaning of course) :)
