Not suitable for cats
I don't think this product should be for cats,
but it's excellent for rodents.
Since we've been using it, our Lilli no longer has a matted bottom or fur. Simply perfect, even for rabbits, who often have softer stools. We used to have to wash our doe several times a week because everything would get stuck, but that's finally over.
Simply perfect, I give it 10 points!

The best
The winner, without a doubt! I've tried so many cat litters and found that this one smells pleasant, feels very natural, and clumps only where it’s supposed to.
My absolute recommendation: Cat's Best.

Bad - bad - bad
I find this cat litter more than just terrible. Since it doesn’t clump, the small pellets disintegrate, and the fine dust stuck to my Maine Coon cats and was then spread all over the house.

Not for cats!
Ordered this litter based on the positive comments, but unfortunately, it was a complete flop. It consists of huge wood pellets, doesn’t clump, and instead, the pellets disintegrate when they get wet. Our two cats also seem to find it uncomfortable and too heavy. At the very least, they no longer cover up their business, which causes a terrible smell. The otherwise pleasant wood scent of the litter doesn’t help with that either. The "used" litter crumbles into sawdust and can’t be removed from the tray, only the still fresh pellets stay on the scoop... On the plus side, the large pellets aren’t carried around by the cats, but once they’ve been "used," even more sawdust gets spread around the house, which is much harder to clean up than the usual small crumbs from the good Ökoplus. Conclusion: Absolutely not recommended for cats!

Nothing smells bad anymore!
Finally, a bedding for lazy people who still want the best for their rodents. I only clean my guinea pig's cage every three weeks with this, and you really don't smell a thing! However, you should be extremely generous when filling it, so that the bottom is covered about 3-4 cm deep; otherwise, the poor piggy will quickly end up with a wet bottom, which absolutely must be avoided!!! Then add fresh hay daily (and don't skimp on this either), and your piggy will be happy – down below.

My canaries feel very comfortable.
My birds simply love it. Mixed with sand, it becomes a constant landing spot for them.

My tomcat is scared (!?) of it..
Sounds strange, but that's how it is! He refuses to sit on the litter in the toilet and clings to me whenever I try!
Even though this isn't the product's fault, I have to deduct all the points. Other cat owners should think carefully beforehand or only order small amounts to test it out. I'm now stuck with 4 bags that I can't use for anything... Such a shame, because *I* thought the litter was brilliant!?

Wood pellets
Very good bedding!
I find wood pellets better than straw pellets.
My dwarf rabbits love it!
The toilet is filled only with wood pellets. The cage, however, is filled with wood pellets, topped with straw and a bit of hay.
It doesn’t create dust and doesn’t mat their fur!

What a shame...
I think it's great; it absorbs odours incredibly well, the litter tray doesn't smell at all, and the litter doesn't stick to their paws. My cat liked it too, but unfortunately, the tomcat didn't like it at all... I don't know why, but he just wouldn't use it and always went for the bathroom rug instead... Such a shame, I would have loved to buy it again, but the tomcat simply won't use it, and I don't want to be washing my bathroom rug every day...

Also recommended for four indoor cats.
I usually use Öko Plus, but unfortunately, some months are longer than the money lasts...
That's where the Universal is an absolutely brilliant alternative.
And even for the last bit of Öko Plus that's not good enough to refill but still too good to throw away: extending it once with the Universal works perfectly!

Absolutely recommendable!!!
I’ve had wood litter in this form from other manufacturers before, but I always found it annoying how quickly the pack would run out, as it’s usually only available in 10-20 litre sizes in stores. It runs out quickly for me. That’s why I think it’s great that zooplus offers 40-litre packs, and the price is reasonable too. I’d definitely recommend it again and again.

Very good! The 40-litre bag is back!
The absolutely perfect bedding is FINALLY available again in the large 40L bag, THANK YOU Zooplus!!! There’s simply nothing better. Over the years, I’ve tried EVERY type of bedding for my rabbits and rodents, and I’ve never come across a product that compares in terms of absorbency and odour control. For my animals, I always add a layer of straw on top for extra cosiness. Although it’s very economical, it’s only worth it for me with the large bag given the number of animals I have. So from now on, I can finally stock up again!

Very good... BUT
I've been using this pellet litter for my rabbit toilets for quite some time now, and I find it practical. It doesn't smell as bad when wet compared to many cheap litters... BUT: where has the 40-litre bag gone lately? Only being able to buy it in 10-litre sizes is far too expensive, and on top of that, I'd have to buy a new bag every few weeks.

Cats Best Öko Plus - One Number Better
Lately, I've tried many different types of litter that were much cheaper. Then I realised that not only do they cause a lot of mess, but they actually end up being more expensive. Cats Best Öko Plus is a clumping litter (pure nature). When my bunny has peed on it, you can see exactly where and can remove it with one quick grab. With other litter, it spreads out and you have to remove much, much more. So this clumping litter lasts me a few weeks because I know exactly what needs cleaning, and most importantly, no residue is left behind. I'm now getting the 40-litre bag, which saves money again.
Here's a little tip for everyone whose bunny is clean. I don't use litter for the cage anymore because I was constantly sweeping up. Instead, I use hemp mats for small animals. Even if I have to lock her up at night because she won't let me sleep, she's never done her business on the mats—always on shavings and litter. You can find them here at ZooPlus in three sizes, and they are often discounted. A few months ago, I bought three, and I'm still using the first one in the cage. Cleaning them is also very easy!

Better than Nature Gold and Öko Plus
I ordered all three Cat's Best products to try them out and found that the Universal litter perfectly matches what I was looking for in every aspect. I have two cats (1 female, 1 male) and two litter boxes, where I divided the 10kg. The litter only started to smell after two weeks. The pellets don’t spread all over the flat. Simply recommendable!

It's hard to get it out of the cage.
Hello,
I’ve tried this one too. My two guinea pigs think it’s great, but it’s really hard to get this out of the cage.
Still, we’re all satisfied—it absorbs really well and there’s absolutely no smell.
Just the cleaning part could use some improvement; maybe someone could come up with a better solution for that.
Best regards,
Claudia and the guinea pigs.

Great for Ferrets
We use this for our ferrets as its perfect for them. Little dust (other than at the bottom of the bag) and easy to scoop.

Not suitable for cats, so not quite as universal.
If you enjoy cleaning the litter box and prefer it to be as difficult as possible, then this litter is just the thing for you.
Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to use this litter as cat litter.
Personally, I’d rather stick with "Cat's Best Öko Plus Cat Litter". Same company, and in my opinion, very well suited for cats. With the extra cat litter, the wood fibres clump together and mask the smell with woody aromas. However, the product presented here seems to be more geared towards rodents.

For rabbits and guinea pigs, the best there is!
I've tried quite a few types of litter and have finally found one that really satisfies me with Cat's Best Universal. It's not just the ease of handling it, but also the way it absorbs the smell of the animals' end products.
Highly recommended!

Very satisfied for rabbits
We are very happy with the litter! We used it to line the toilet of our two dwarf rabbits. It's perfect for that. It doesn’t smell too strong, and the wet litter clumps together, making it easy to distinguish and separate from the dry litter.
Thumbs up all around, we’ll be ordering it again!
