best non-clumping litter ever used!
I got 3 longhair cat at home and the litter tracking has always been a huge problem. I used cat's best long-hair for a while but it's really expensive. This is great, no litter track, great odor control and very economical.

Never again!
I would give zero stars if I could, but unfortunately, that's not possible here.
It doesn't clump at all; instead, it turns into a nasty mush where the cats urinate.
This completely wipes out any cost advantage, as I basically have to completely replace the litter box (for two cats) every single day.
Nature Gold is still the only real deal!

"Does not clump"
So, regarding the topic of "doesn't clump," I have to say, that's exactly what it's supposed to do!!!!! That's precisely why we're using it at the moment. And that's a positive feature. When refilling, it smells pleasant. Our cat likes to use it.
But that's where the positives end! We chose this litter because Tiger is only 3 months old, and we're still worried he might try to eat it. Otherwise, the litter box smells awful after the first use, and I can't stand that. Overall, though, I think the price/performance ratio in terms of consumption is really good. Since we're only using it for the initial phase, it was all fine for us. Now we're looking for something else!

So far, the worst litter.
Hello everyone,
We have two young British Shorthair tomcats and have already tried out several types of litter. Among them were all three products from Cat’s Best and another clumping litter made of paper (unfortunately, I can’t remember the name). The Universal litter from Cat’s Best was, unfortunately, the worst of them all! As others have already pointed out, it becomes mushy and disintegrates, leaving damp patches in the litter box. After less than a week, the entire litter in the box is completely wet! Here’s my personal ranking:
1. Cat’s Best Gold (doesn’t scatter around the flat and clumps very well; downside: I feel like it gets used up quite quickly due to the large clumps, so dear Zooplus, maybe consider introducing a 40-litre bag or quickly launching the 20-litre bag so we don’t have to wait so long for delivery; the price is quite high)
2. Cat’s Best Öko Litter (also clumps very well and is very economical; downside: too light, so the cats spread it all over the room or even the entire flat)
3. Paper litter (clumps well; downside: too light, same issue as the Öko litter)
4. Cat’s Best Universal (downsides already mentioned; upside: nice and heavy, doesn’t scatter as easily)
Wishing you all the best and lots of joy with your furry friends! 😊

Doesn't dust or clump
I accidentally bought this litter instead of Cat's Best Öko, partly because it's also suitable for small animals. However, it's harder on the rabbits' paws and doesn't clump. Additionally, it doesn't produce less dust than the Öko litter. When it comes into contact with liquids, it turns into mush and is difficult to clean up. I'll go back to buying the Öko litter for my four rabbits—it’s more practical, and my bunnies prefer using the toilet with it.

It's ok
We only buy this litter because our two tomcats are still kittens, and as we all know, they tend to put everything in their mouths, including clumping litter, which can then clump in their stomachs. We can’t wait to switch to clumping litter!! As soon as this litter comes into contact with liquid (urine), it turns into very fine shavings that spread wonderfully throughout the flat. The bathroom is full of it! It’s almost impossible to distinguish between the "dirty" litter and the still usable litter. As a result, you have to replace the entire litter quite frequently – not exactly economical! Still, we give it a grade of 3, as it serves our purpose, namely ensuring no risk to the kittens if they ingest the litter. Plus, the litter smells quite pleasantly of wood.

For rodent toilets, the best!
I've been using it for almost 5 years now for my dwarf rabbit's toilet. It reliably neutralises odours and delivers on its promises! I'm sticking with this product.

For the rat toilet
Unfortunately, it doesn’t bind rat urine very well, but that’s not so important to me. My little ones mostly use the rat toilet for their bigger business, and the bedding works well for that. While the pellets make it impossible to sift out the droppings, at least the bedding doesn’t get scattered all over the cage or my flat. It does a decent job of controlling odours. Still, it’s a shame there aren’t larger bags available :(

Very good litter
High absorbency, well received. Suitable for households with many cats, especially if the litter boxes need to be completely replaced daily.

Cat's Best Universal
The best bedding for rodents, at least for the toilet, that has ever existed. It is very absorbent.
I’ve been using it for a very long time and I’m still satisfied.

Never again! Eco Plus is my favourite!
We are loyal buyers of Cats Best Öko Plus. The reason we decided to try Universal was because we were annoyed by the dust formation with Öko Plus and the fact that the litter gets spread all over the flat.
Admittedly, Universal doesn’t create dust when sifting, but it’s absolutely impossible to sift out cat urine. The pellets swell up, disintegrate, and it’s no longer possible to keep the litter box properly clean. Our poor cats always wrinkle their noses when they have to go back in there... I’m ordering Öko Plus again straight away!

Very good for cats - when used with the Magix cat litter box!
Top cat litter! Great odour control! Great price! But it has to be said that the litter breaks down after being used by the cats. Over time, a kind of sawdust forms among the regular litter, which then gets tracked all over the house. So, you need to sift the litter once a week (or replace it!). By sifting, you can use it for a long time and only need to top up the litter a little each week. You can sift it either with an old coarse kitchen sieve or, like us, with the "Magix Cat Toilet," which costs around €40. But you'll quickly recoup the money through the savings on litter, as this toilet consists of several trays and a sieve tray. I place the sieve in the second tray, pour the litter in, and in 15 seconds, the sawdust falls through to the second tray by shaking. Then I pour the litter back into the old tray, add a bit of fresh litter, and it's done. Occasionally wipe the trays with a damp cloth, and that's it! It might sound like a hassle, but it only takes 5 minutes a week! With the Magix Cat Toilet combined with this litter, you produce hardly any waste and save money.

For my rats, top...
Finding the right bedding for my rats wasn’t easy at all. I now use these Cat’s Best Universal pellets as bedding and layer TierWohl Super on top. This makes it super soft for my rats to walk on, and this combination binds odours excellently while also being highly absorbent. My rats were so thrilled that they even jumped for joy! After a long search, I’ve finally found the perfect bedding combination ;-) !!!

Simply brilliant
I use this litter for my two rabbit cages, with a thick layer of Tima straw on top. My two dwarf teddy rabbits even dig up the cage! I find wood pellets better than straw pellets, which crumble straight away. For the corner toilets, I also use Cat’s Best with straw on top so it’s not too hard. Unfortunately, the small bags are too expensive – I need 80 litres to fill everything. If it ever gets cheaper, I’d gladly order it again. The pellets in retail stores aren’t as good, but they’re cheaper.

the best
Great for Texel, as shavings tend to stick in the fur. Super absorbent, unlike shavings, which get wet quickly and start to smell. Straw pellets also smell and are quite dark. You don’t have to change it as often, and there’s less mess flying around compared to shavings, which are lighter. If you’re using shavings or straw, add the Beaphar Cage Powder to it ;)

Super product!!! Unfortunately, the quantity is too small.
I’m really happy with these pellets! They neutralise odours, and my rats use them perfectly in their toilets!
It’s harmless if they gnaw on them!
The only downside: the quantity! I’ve started buying the pellets from retail stores now, where I can get 40-litre bags!

Never again
My tomcat used the litter tray with the new litter once, and after that, the bathroom rugs had to serve as his toilet. The litter disintegrates immediately when it gets wet. Afterwards, you have to dig everything over so the wet stuff doesn’t stay on top.

Not suitable for cats
So, we tried it because it's non-toxic for the kittens and doesn't clump (which would be dangerous if they swallowed it). But honestly, it's RUBBISH – as soon as it gets wet, the pellets disintegrate. Too hard for their delicate paws.

Absolutely brilliant
Completely odourless, even after 2 weeks – initial difficulties for the kitties because it’s different – now fully accepted by all 5 cats – no more litter sticking to their paws.
