Biokat's Micro Classic Cat Litter

I'm happy they're now packing their litter without plastic. However, the item arrived completelly destroyed and all the sand was all over the delivery box

This is by far the best cat litter on the market. Had plenty of cats over the years and never found a cat litter like this one. I actually wrote to Biokat in Germany, thanking them. A brilliant product IF used correctly. Read the instructions. There is a right way and a wrong way.

I read reviews about this and thought it was good but this stuff is awful. I am so disappointed and now have 3 bags of it I will not use. It is totally disgusting, sticks to your cats hair, clumps in their paws and makes them feel so uncomfortable. It leaves muddy clay marks everywhere and my cat even started going outside of the litter tray. One bag did not even last a week as I had to change it so often. If people have written good reviews they must not care about their cat.

Having tried the Classic 3 in 1 and Diamond Care varieties, as well as a few other brands, I am sticking with the Micro. It has the best clumping power (as long as you pile it at least a couple of inches deep in the litter box), very little tracking, a reasonably-low amount of dust, and it does last a very, very long time. The Diamond Care range seems a tad better in terms of odour control, but this has never been an issue for me. I have just one cat, and clean the box 3+ times a day.

It’s good an affordable. Clumping is ok. But while we using this litter, I noticed my cat's coat started to smell a bit funny, like he needs a bath. After I changed his litter to biokats diamond classic his smell turned to normal, no smell.

I have two cats and we get through a lot of cat little as I like to ensure they're well hydrated. I've tried lots of clay brands and this is my favourite. It clumps well. It's not very dusty and I'm pretty sure the cats like that it's fine not big chunks of clay. Yes, it tracks a bit (all clay does) and the clumps can break a part if you scoop.too soon after the cats use it. However I can't find better quality litter for the price!

Both my cats use and like this litter, which is amazing as one of my cats is extremely fussy/stubborn about his litter! It masks odour well and clumps brilliantly and very neatly, meaning that it is very easy to clean out. It does track a bit but is easy to sweep or hoover up.

I usually buy this make but the 'Diamond care' . I thought I would try this. Never again!! Odour control is none existent. Don't buy, you get what you pay for.

Only one our cat prefers, meaning with this, it stopped doing poops outside litter tray. So grateful

I normally use OKO catsbest litter but my new little kitten doesn't like it, which is why i have moved to purchasing very fine clay like litter. After one pee the litter smells so bad. It's not for me.

This is the best cat litter i have ever used in 5 years. My 2 Maine Coon girls love this stuff. The fussiest one will even curl up in the litter box she loves this litter. Keep it deep and scoop twice daily and you will reap the benefit of this litter. Just let the wee sit for 20 minutes and it clumps beautifully I use a fine mesh metal scoop no sticking to the tray or the scoop. Tracks a little bit but lets be honest a little hand held vac next to the litter tray and a 10 second clean up.

I tried this litter based on the good reviews and the price and I'm so glad I did! I'm rarely impressed enough with a product to write a review, but I have been delighted with this. It clumps brilliantly if you leave the wee a while to "set". I've found that deep litter works best as the wee doesn't reach the bottom. I just top it up every few days so it is excellent value. No dust, no smells, very little tracking, cats like it, good value - what's not to like?!

We've had this litter for about 9 months now. For the best results, put about 3-4" in the tray, at least and then don't scoop up wees straight away. It sets better if you leave it for 15-30 mins. It does stick to the scoop if you try to clean it out before you have allowed it to set. It does last a long time though, I usually top up the tray once a week. Our cat is happy with it too. We had no issues when we changed her on to this from a non clumping litter. It hides all odours too.

My cat sitters first question when I got back was, what cat litter do you use its fantastic.......not only did she order it that day for her cattery but is recommending to all her clients😺😺

Maybe I got a bad batch, I don't know but this stuff is terrible. I'm normally a Golden Grey user but tried this because it is cheaper and looks similar. I found it terrible. It doesn't clump very well - it is sticky, sticks to the scoop and bits break off. It is also very very dusty. I'm so glad now that it has all gone and I can go back to my old litter.

I have tried many cat litters from cheap to expensive and although this is costly initially, it does last a long time as it clumps so well. It helps to mask smells from the cat tray, even with my boy cat! It does track out of the tray but I havent yet found one that doesn't. overall - Lasts a long time due to excellent clumping. Masks odours. Does track from tray. Expensive initially but due to length of time it lasts, works out cheaper than supermarket ones. heavy bags ! feel sorry for the delivery chaps.

I was recommended this by a friend and saw it had good reviews. For me it doesn't clump that well and there are little bits that come off the clump. Annoyingly it also sticks to the scoop. I tried buying a scoop with narrow gaps but it's still a real pain to clean up and remove all the little bits. As its so fine it not only tracks but flies everywhere when my cat is digging meaning the whole room ends up with bits on the floor. The good point is it doesn't smell at all. I'm afraid to say it won't last it's 60 days for us as it'll be in the bin and replaced by a different brand asap.

This is by far the best litter for our Siberian cat: zero track, no litter crumbs on the coat, good absorbency, easy-to-remove clumps which don't stick to the litter box. Highly recommended.

This litter clumps really well and is great at reducing odour. So much so that my kitten plays in it as he can't even smell he peed in it! However as its so fine it tracks and scatters far and wide, even with a hooded litter box I have to sweep the floor by the box daily to prevent it scratching our laminate. It is amazing value when bought in the double pack and is definitely great for cleaning out quickly. My kitten is still indoor only at the moment so using it multiple times a day every day, removing the clumps daily means it need to be fully changed about every 10days I'd say as the little bits f soiled litter that fall of as I remove the big clumps start to smell after this time. Don't need to put the full depth in that is recommended unless your cat is a real digger though.

My cats seem to prefer this to 'worlds best cat litter', they don't like any litter with a synthetic smell and this clumps very effectively. Definately recommend.

Clumps badly, the clumps don't really hold together. Starts to smell after just one day. Easily gets spread all over the house on their paws! I wanted to try something new! Will never buy it again.

Only this one is accepted. Comfortable for me. I recommend it.

What a smell! I've been using this product for a while now and have bought it from different places. Normally, I was satisfied, but while using it with the Litter Robot (so pee and poo are removed as soon as possible), it already starts to smell like urine after a short time. I'm extremely disappointed and now have 3 big bags at home. But honestly, this is just not doable at all.

Based on the description and the buyers' reviews, I thought I'd finally found a litter with good value for money... what a disappointment... As soon as it gets a bit wet, the liquid spreads out and hardens, making a heavy lump that's really hard to scrape off the tray. Nothing like the description, and after just 15 days I've already used up the 14kg bag!!! That's a far cry from the 83 days they claimed, and I don't think my cat uses the litter more than any other cat!!!

More and more dust, and a lot of it

I've been using it for years and I've really noticed how much the quality of this litter has gone downhill. It hardly clumps at all now, and the dust and smell it gives off make it impossible to keep indoors. Never again.

I switched to this litter and the very next day it smelled terrible, it's the worst I've ever tried, don't buy it under any circumstances.

Is it just me, or has the litter suddenly become really dusty and unpleasant? I’ve already had to switch several times within the brand—from Micro White Fresh to White Dream, then to Micro Classic—just because the better types were no longer available. Now I guess I’ll have to look for another brand! After 15 years of loyalty! I don’t know what’s changed, but I can barely breathe when cleaning the litter box, and I’m supposed to put my cats through that?

I’m very happy with this sand, but I was disappointed that when I opened the packages, 3 out of 4 bags were torn at the bottom.

A positive purchase, everything matches the product description. My only issue is that the litter is dusty, very dusty—it’s a shame. Otherwise, nothing else to report, it clumps well and there’s no smell.

We have years of experience with this cat litter and I haven’t found a better one yet. It’s fine, clumps well, and is easy to clean—as long as you’re not dealing with completely fresh clumps. Sometimes there’s a bit of a smell, especially after it’s been used for a while, so when I scoop daily, I do a full litter change and clean the tray about once every two weeks. Twice the packaging arrived torn, but otherwise I’m very happy with the litter and keep buying it again and again.

Yesterday I refilled 4 litter boxes, 2 mixed with pine litter, 2 with pure Biokat. The urine clumps aren’t as solid as before, they fall apart and dirty the clean litter. The dust is also much worse, I’m annoyed that I placed another order yesterday. But for the cats, switching to pine litter is now easier. What’s going on? Why has the litter that was so good for years become so bad? Is it because of the mining? A new location? That’s what I assume. Goodbye Biokat Micro.

It’s so annoying! Covered litter boxes aren’t an option for my cats. That’s why I’ve recently started using a natural pine litter as well and I’m trying to switch over completely.

I was always very satisfied with this product, but the bags I got with my last order were worthless. Absorption and clumping are still fine, but now it suddenly creates a terrible amount of dust. Really unbearable. Both cats and owners are sneezing and coughing, the whole area turns white and everything smells dusty. Unfortunately, I’ll have to look for something else again.

Very handy for automatic litter boxes

I’ve tried quite a few types of litter because most of them have disappointed me. But this product is definitely in the top 2 worst. - The whole bathroom is covered in a layer of dust - When cleaning, I have to turn my face away because the dust is so intense - Clumps fall apart when cleaning - Smells by the second day - All three cats smell like sand (both long-haired and short-haired) - The smell spreads through half the flat unless the bathroom window is open all the time.
