Great price and doesn't clog like cement!
First review I've ever written on Zooplus, but the litter is so good, I had to do it! I used to use the very expensive Everclean litter until they upped the price and changed the format so it clogged up like hard cement. After that, I used Tigerino, which is better - but Biokat is even better than that. It clumps nicely and doesn't break off into small smelly lumps. It doesn't set like cement and doesn't break the scoop. Plus, the price is excellent for 10 litres. Please don't stop selling it!

We have 2 cats and they share a litter box (their choice) as you can imagine it's a busy place. I've tried different cat litters from cheap to expensive and have spent a lot of time throwing good litter out because of the mushy bit at the front. This litter is amazing, I was sceptical but it really does work, when they wee it hardens into a lump which can easily be lifted out eliminating smells. In all honesty I never thought I'd get this excited about a cat litter but it does work!

One of the best cat litter I ever tried!
I've been using Tigerino litter for years and still like it. However, once I tried Biokat's Diamond Care Classic Cat Litter I've fallen in love with it! It comes with reasonable weight so I found it easier to lift and pour the litter into our cat's tray without breaking my back. It's been very economical because one bag lasts more than a month. Fantastic product!

Best Cat Litter Around
Like most cat owners I have tried to find litter that is long lasting, clumps and keeps ordours to a minimum. This definitely did that, it does track a bit especially if you have cats who like mine try to dig to China but this is insignificant to the pros of this litter.

I literally tried almost all litters in the market as my cat is a really smelly one and fussy with litters. The silica ones my cat just refused and would go on the bed rather than a litter box. Same happen with wood pellets and it didn’t fight the smell. This litter is just wonderful, it is very fine so gentle to paws, absorbs smell perfectly and it is the most important thing for me as cat is indoor and flat is not big. No dust, my cat loves it.....it is just the best...

Very good litter
Thought I'd try this as was using a much more expensive litter and wasn't happy.
This is great. No smell, only get a few bits coming out of the tray and the clumps are not glued to the bottom like the other stuff I use. Have to put a good thick layer for this to work well but the clumps are easy to remove and smaller so not so much used. Overall very pleased.
Did not clump properly after a while
Went through two bags of this but while it would clump brilliantly for the first week it did not maintain that standard. Clumps would collapse crumbling in the scoop as it was being moved. I have two litter trays in different locations and it was the same for both (so wasn’t the environment as one was in a humid location and the other very dry). Using it for a month meant it started to become like a sticky clay at the bottom of the tray that required scraping to get loose.

Best cat litter found in 30 years
I purchased this litter along with Tigerino Nuggies. Have one litter tray of each in the house.
Both cats using only the tray with Biokat diamond and leaving the other tray unused. I had two bags of Tigerino ,probably won’t be used. Will always use Biokat diamond in future and purchase along with my foodorder. Always pleased with Zooplus delivery. Is so quick.

Excellent all rounder
I've tried a few clumping litters but this one is far superior. Clumps stay solid & don't break apart, the litter hides odour extremely well & it's easy on my cat's paws.

Low dust and odour, clumps well

Bad experience

Too coarse – too much quartz
The cat reacted like this: she stopped using the litter box and relieved herself on two rugs instead. It was a huge hassle – and figuring out what was causing it was tough too.
New litter – fine-grained and not that gravel stuff – and everything was back to normal.

Used to be better
Acceptance is great, the smell is okay. At 10L it's a bit heavy, so thanks to the DHL delivery people for carrying it so much. Since the last few deliveries, I feel like it's become much, much dustier and often clumps at the bottom even when there's enough litter added. I often spend longer cleaning to try and get all the little bits out. I'll be looking for something new.

Fits well

No longer recommended
I've used it for years, but the dust just kept getting worse. Everything in the room where the litter box is was absolutely covered in dust. When you pour it in or take out the waste, you end up in such a cloud of dust that, with COPD, I just can't handle it. My cat has even developed asthma because of it. I’ve already complained to the manufacturer myself, because the packaging still says 'dust-free'. Honestly, it should say 'extreme dust' instead.
