Biokat's Diamond Care Fresh Cat Litter

I’ve used this for years never had issues before now. My house stinks now no matter how often I scoop, plus it’s now dusty and it gets so caught it little paws you’ll find it all over the house.

I’ve used several biokat litters over the years and thought I’d try Diamond Care based on its excellent reviews. On the plus side, it clumps really well and doesn’t break up when cleaning the tray. But there is one huge negative that is a deal breaker for me. It travels. And when I say travels, I mean it really travels. I was constantly sweeping up tiny particles of litter from all across my kitchen floor. Absolute nightmare and I’ll be going back to the larger particle litters I’ve used before.

This litter smells really nice and clumps really well on day 1 and that's it. It doesn't clump after a few days and leaves a very strong ammonia smell despite scooping the waste out everyday. Won't buy again!

Its no longer the same.and this is just my 3rd order.the very first one I was amazed very fine,the clay are even shiny and you can feel the aloe Vera on it, the fresh smell.now its gone,rough and more dusty.and I've ordered 6 bags lately..I'll be checking on other brand again.I only want the best for my 2 babies

I left a review for this litter a couple of years ago as it used to be amazing and one of my top picks for my 5 cat household (strong clumping, good odour control). Unfortunately over the past 6 months I've noticed a complete change. It no longer seems to clump at all! The clumps crumble apart when you try to scoop/sift them so lots of wet litter ends up back in the tray, and after a few days the stench of cat pee from the tray is the worst I've experienced with ANY litter! What happened!? :(

Bought for my asthmatic cat as need a low dust litter. Absolute plume of dust came off the litter tray. Had to open the windows to clear the dust. Made me cough let alone the cat. Straight in the bin and the rest can go to a shelter. Absolute rubbish!!!!!

If I could would have given no stars. It does track, it does smell and doesn't clump goes into a solid mud on tray base and breaks up when I try to remove it, thus making a mess of the rest of the litter. Won't be ordering again.

the worst sand ever used - have cats for 40 years

I ordered Everclean and Diamond Care. Everclean is simply brilliant. Unfortunately, Biokat's Diamond Care is way too dusty. I will NOT be ordering it again!!!

Used to be my favourite, bought 6 packs, but the ingredients have changed and now my flat stinks, and it doesn’t clump well anymore either. I would have sent them back but it was too much hassle for me, so today I’m throwing everything away! Never ever again, I paid over 50 for this rubbish!

1. It starts to smell after 2-3 days of use, even though the litter box is cleaned twice a day. 2. All the clumps fall apart and smell bad. 3. The clumps turn into dust, you just can’t get them out and they mix in with the clean litter. You can use it for about a week at most, but there are just too many issues. 4. The litter gets spread all over the entire flat.

I recently bought 6 bags, this is not what I’m used to, I’m going to send it back. Very expensive & poor quality.

Never again. Absolute rubbish. Dusts like crazy, had to stop after a few seconds and wear a mask. My furniture is now covered in dust. This junk will never come into my house again. My poor cats had to breathe it in all the time.

Has the formula changed? It doesn’t clump anymore, after just one week I have to replace all the litter, whereas I used to do that monthly instead of weekly. Looking for another brand.

- Clumping was great at first, but after two weeks it started to fall apart more and more. - Extreme dust in my nose and in the cats’ noses: When I first poured it in, I thought the dust would be okay. But after a few trips to the litter box, everything was covered in dust (the litter boxes, the surrounding furniture, etc.). Even when cleaning, I could feel it in my nose. I could actually see the dust flying when my cats were digging in the litter. - Won’t be buying again at this price.

I've never seen anything like this before. Extremely dusty. It gets into your nose, your ears, everywhere. I already feel bad for my cats, who had to do their business in this sand and then cover everything up afterwards. If the dust is already getting into my own airways, I don't even want to imagine how much harm I've done to my cats with it.

I've been using this litter for years. For the past few months, though, I've noticed it's become extremely dusty. Not only is the litter box covered in dust, but the whole area around it is as well. Unfortunately, I'll have to look for a different litter now... I hope I can find a good one.
