FURminator DeShedding Tool - Long Hair Cats

My cats are nearly a year old and they leave hair on all surfaces. One has fur so fine it ends up ones nose. Both have big bushy tails and seem to be a mixture of long and short coat. Their tails have shrunk by 50 %100 and the over all body fur is now not shedding. This tool is the best money I have ever spent in my cats.

Gets a decent amount of fur, and weirdly enough this is the only brush of the many I have bought that my cat sometimes even enjoys.

I should have bought one of these years ago! My domestic longhair gets a regular brushing which usually takes an hour before he gets too irritated...and it still isn't finished. The furminator took out more of his dead coat in two minutes than I've gotten all month! It even works on my russian blue, but you have to be more gentle. My only advice is wipe your cat down with a wet paper towel first, or they'll get static very fast!

I have both a short hair and a long hair cat. I bought the small brush for long-haired cats and it works amazingly on both! Lots of hair are coming out and after only 10min of brushing they felt softer and their fur and patterns looked so much better! I can only recommend this brush!

I've tried numerous brushes with my two shorthaired cats as the eldest struggles with hairballs and we wanted to help her out. We've only used this brush since yesterday and I think we've gotten out more loose fur with one brushing session than we have with all our other brushes combined! It is comfortable in your hand, easy to clean with the brush cleaner, solidly built so will last, and best of all our cats LOVE it! Yes it is more expensive that alot of other brushes, but this is worth it!

Honestly fantastic equipment to maintain your cat’s fur. I have to Maine Coons. I have tried many different brushes and combs, and so far furminator is the best. Highly recommend

I’ve a long haired cat that I’d already brushed when I received the furminator , trying it out thinking I’d not get too much more out of her, oh how wrong I was, I could have knitted another cat with the fur I got out. Just got to get used to using it now. Fantastic

I have 11 cats at least half are long haired or medium and short hair a few fight over me doing there hair they love it the shorthaied tend to drop the back down as it is for heavy duty fur its good solid i did think it was mechanical but its not expensive but some love it some wont let me use it good for long haired cats bit pricey

Gonna be honest. My girl didn’t really enjoy the brushing. She always hated it. However with this brush I’ve taken out so much fur in 5 minutes than with normal brushed in 2 hours. So this is amazing. I didn’t think it would work like this. She looks sooo pretty. I highly recommend it. So easy to clean it too. I cannot even compare it to normal brushes.

I would highly recommend furminator as it does the job it tells in description, my kitten has a long hair and he doesn't like brushing, always trying to escape but when I use furminator he is more calm and let me brush him. Lots of hair stays on furminator so we both are very pleased with it.

Bought this to groom my Maine coon kitten, tried other brushes but have to say this is the best by far and she seems to enjoy it. Removes so much loose fur in a matter of minutes. 5 Star!!

We've recently got a Maine Coon kitty and maintaining his long, thick coat was never easier! We have tried different brushes, but nothing removes his shedding fur like the FURminator, we were AMAZED. Plus, he seems to be enjoying it as well and the difference in the amount of hair this product picks up is amazing! I'd recommend this to anyone, even if your kitty does not like brushes, it will like this one.

It took some slow work & treats to get out cats used to the brush but now our cats don't mind it at all. Using this as part of the brushing routine has reduced the amount of fur around the house drastically. We have two white fluffy ragdolls so hair is a part of our lives but honestly this brush has worked wonders - it's gets so much off of them and their coat is always soft and lovely after 😍

My human bought this for me. Apparently I was leaving fur everywhere. I have to say though it’s really got rid of my knots in my under fur and I’m so much more comfy. I think it’s probably going to be great in hot weather to.

The stainless steel teeth glide nicely through the fur and the hair dust actually stays in the collection compartment instead of spreading all over the floor. The handle is small and feels comfortable in the hand. With very long fur, you have to go over it twice, but that's not a problem. Delivery was on time and the packaging was undamaged. Overall, I can definitely recommend this product.

After two months of daily use, I can wholeheartedly recommend this tool. The stainless steel prongs are sturdy enough for the undercoat of my long-haired cat, yet still comfortable to hold. The collection flap can be emptied without anything sticking, which is the biggest difference compared to my previous comb. The only downside is the unnecessarily tough packaging. Overall, it's a definite buy.

I have two cats, one with long hair who doesn’t like being brushed and had loads of matted fur. With this brush, he tolerates brushing much better and I was able to get rid of his knots. The other cat, who has short hair, absolutely loves this brush. Plus, they’re both shedding less hair all over the house now.

A really, really good product! I got it for my mother-in-law and her cat, and both of them feel much more at ease when it comes to brushing. After the first use, you could practically make another cat out of all the fur collected. Highly recommend!

I have a ragdoll kitty and with just one stroke, the Furminator brushes out as much fur as I used to get with at least five passes of another comb! I don’t usually write reviews, but I really have to recommend this to all desperate cat owners. 🥰 For me, it’s the best! We’re going to buy another one as a backup.

I am extremely satisfied! I use this product once a week for my Scottish Fold long-haired tomcat, and it's very easy to use and extremely well tolerated (my tomcat is 5 months old).

I’d been having trouble removing my cat’s dead hair for a while, since the other combs I had didn’t really grab it well, and in the end there were loads of fluff floating around and very little hair actually collected in the comb—especially now in spring/summer, when he’s shedding. I tried this one and after just a couple of strokes along his back, it picked up so much dead hair that I had to take it off by hand before I could keep combing. It was definitely worth spending a bit more money.

It brushes beautifully and gets rid of everything that needs to go, perfectly removes the undercoat. We use it on Maine Coon long-haired cats.

I never would have guessed I could brush out so much fur from our ragdoll. The best brush on the market.
