Very good
It does the job of removing the hairs on our (short hair) cat very well so is 5 stars for that but it does need two hands to remove those hairs from the brush despite its release button so that leaves the cat free to roam off at each emptying unless you have a glamorous assistant to help you (or your cat decides to remain). It is possibly a little expensive but that is subjective.

Video Review
We love this product as not only has it saved our house form a lot of furry mess, but also improves the health of our cat by reducing the hair balls and vomitting. Noticable difference. We reviewed this product on our youtube channel here: https://youtu.be/asFGpxx67KQ

Worth the money!
I wish I bought this sooner. It first came to my attention a few months ago and I was impressed with the reviews but couldn't justify spending the money on it. Recently the cats been shedding a lot and my husband been losing patience with the white cat hair all over his black work uniform so I decided it's worth the money if it stops him complaining 😁. So far I've only used it once on my cat but I'm totally impressed already. Couldn't believe the amount of hair it removed and his coat looks amazing!

fantastic
I was a bit dubious about spending this amount on a brush but can't recommend this highly enough. I have 2 cats that shed so much hair i couldn't hoover up enough but this little magic brush gets huge piles of fur out in a matter of minutes and the cats love it!

If you have a Maine Coon or impatient cat. Dont bother
I'll begin by saying it gets a 5* because it does what it says it can do... removes alot of fur.
BUT.....If you have a Maine Coon, semi/long haired or young cat like I do I would'nt bother wasting your money. This products head is so small and so the surface area you a combing is so minimal you will spend half a day getting through a long/thick haired cat... Do young cats really have the patience to let you brush them for 2-3 hours?!! In the case of my Maine Coon, the answer is NO. He barely lets me get the brush/comb into his furr for 2 minutes let alone enough time to groom him sufficiently! He doesnt like the way it looks and he eventually starts to attack it, and personally I dont blame him. Its very heavy and the metal head is quite sharp, so if hes moving around alot you need to be careful you dont wack him in the face! I've tried introducing it to him slowly and always stopping when hes had enough thinking he would eventually realise its not all bad, but after weeks of doing this still no luck.. and in the meantime of wasting all these weeks trying to introduce a BRUSH he's still coughing up hairballs and his coat is overgrowing.
I would say even with a short haired cat there are bigger/more efficient brushes. Unless you have a cat who is prepared to be brushed by this tiny headed comb for awhile!

Do not believe the hype
After reading the reviews I expected great things from this tool. Sadly I get better results with a roll of tape, it takes no more hair out than a regular paddle brush, my cats are still leaving hair in their path and they don't seem to like being brushed with it very much, it feels like it's quite rough on their skin.
It's a well built product, but it doesn't live up to it's promises.

Excellent product
I don't normally leave reviews. But I received this product today, used it for about twenty minutes and was amazed how much fur came out from the undercoat. I've noticed since I've used it that my cat grooming less, no hair on my clothes when she wants a cuddle and her fur is glowing. Absolutely fantastic product. Strongly recommend.

Excellent
Great little gadget, fully worth the price! Incredible how much fur comes off that would otherwise be shed onto sheets, sofas etc!

Unbelievably good!
Despite the good things I'd heard /read about this product, I didn't think it would be worth the money. It certainly is! Could not believe the amount of fur that came out on the first use. Amazing. And 3 out of my 4 love being groomed with it!

Fantastic fur eliminator!
From the first time I used this I could not believe how much fur it removed - and that all that fur previously was on my clothes, furniture and in my poor cats stomachs - that's the most important part for me - that they will not be ingesting all that. Fantastic product and they are both quite happy having it done. Already don't know how I did without it and have only had it for a few hours! Thanks for introducing me to it.

WoW definitely recommend it !!
I recommended this to a friend recently and he bought one for themselves and me behind my back. I have 2 semi longhaired Ragdoll cats and I have to say, It's Brilliant! As soon as it was delivered and I got over the shock of the surprise I was combing my babies, they loved it, I Loved it and it did a super job in double quick time... Their fur looks even better than it did before I used the FURminator on them... :) I will be recommending this to other friends as they really are worth the money and work as promised.. Thank you so much for selling a product that does what it says on the package... Can I just add that the one for short haired cats works just perfectly on my Ragdolls so will work on anay semi long haired cats...

Hair'll be back (groan)
My cat & I are loving the FURminator! She's a short hair tortie, mostly indoor cat & she's been suffering a bit recently. She doesn't seem to be able to shift the hairball, so we've increased her lax a past and stepped up the grooming. She is loving the extra attention & I can't believe how much more hair this gets out over the usual flea comb. Well worth the money, highly recommended for all cats that love being brushed.

Absolutely unbelievable product!!!!!
The Furminator is the most amazing product I have ever used for cat grooming. I cannot believe the hair that comes from such a little cat. It took a couple of days for my cat to get used to it, however she did like it from the start. When I first started to use it, she would allow me to groom her for a couple of minutes while purring the whole time. Now her grooming sessions lasts longer.

Furminator Indeed! Brilliant!
I bought this to use on my two BSH Cats. It does a great job of removing excess fur without spoiling the coat. Both my cats are mainly kept indoors, sometimes with daily use of an outdoor cat house and run but their coats are so dense that I feel this tool is appropriate even if they are spending more time outside. It reduces furballs too! Great product!

a very helpful tool
I had this for a few years now and I can not recommend it enough... I use it on my persian cat,my exotic shorthair and my moggy: it is very effective for removing shedding hair and what is most important is very well tolerated by all cats, they actually enjoy it.

Now I know why my cat has such big hairballs.
This tool seems to not so much take out loose hair, but 'trim' out the undercoat (so I'm not sure if it should be used on real outdoor cats as it can reduce the thickness coat a lot). It really is a different type of tool, and worth the money.
For an indoor cat it is fantastic, and you can take out as much as you wish... just know that that fur seems to keep on coming! I do it either outside, or probably better, in the bath so that the fur doesn't go everywhere. Honestly, you can't believe how much fur can come out.

Amazingly effective
My Torbie suffers terribly with hairballs and normal brushes don't seem to get rid of her loose fur. I bought this tool (thinking that it was slightly over-priced for a brush), but I am stunned by the results. I can't believe I still have a cat left after all the hair I removed! (And she doesn't look any different - I can't tell she's lost any fur.)
Let's hope it solves the hairball problem.

Absolutely love it!
I bought this FURminator for my Ragdoll cat, and can only recommend it! The undercoat is very very reduced, and even these "knots" on the side of the belly of the long-haired cats are starting to go away!
