Trixie Can Cover

I, like other customers, collected and used my points to get these. They are too big, so useless. I didn't realise they came in 2 different sizes. I wasted my points, so I will have to buy something different. I am going to order the silicon set. I hope they are better. 🐕🐶

I was getting these with my zooplus points monthly because they constantly break, they’re made of hard plastic so it’s not flexible at all, i’m using them on your average sized can and they don't fit well. Wouldn’t recommend.

Both the large and small ones are just a little too small, causing them to split after a couple of uses. Thought it might be a bad batch, but the next lot split too. The plastic is quite brittle too. Armitage ones are far superior, but don't think Zooplus do those. would not buy Trixie ones again.

I assumed they fit the normal dog food tins but are for large tins. No good.

These do not seal cat food cans. Well not British ones, maybe European ones are a different size?

I bought these with my points, and they really need to be put out of the cat section. I have never seen cat cans the size of these lids, utterly useless and a waste of points.

Bought these a few times and they are of such poor quality and a total waste of time.

Unfortunately, they break easily. I'm using cheap ones from ebay now.

Used my points to get these, but they split on first use. Its like they're slightly too small for standard size tins. Definitely don't recommend

As others have said, these are very cheap and flimsy, and they split after a few uses.

These covers are very poor quality. Also, rim is too shallow, split the first time when it was used. about three times were used, split halfway. I think this product should have been withdrawn from Zooplus.

These didn’t last at all, they just split after a few uses. Waste of money and plastic.

Such a shame they are not made of something flexible like silicone as after a few uses they have all slit!

Bought for the 600g Country Hunter Superfoods Wet Food. They fit the can but split within the first week. Not worth my while to return. Went to PAH and bought a £2 silicone one instead.

These are made of this plastic and split very easily. They were the right size for the can.

Life span of less than a week. Very brittle, poor quality plastic.

Used my points to redeem them but at 99p for 2 I’d happily pay for them. It’s a tight fit over the 800g can, which I can see could cause splitting at some point but much better than using cling film, plus keeps smells contained and prevents the wet food from drying out in the fridge. I will be getting spares.

Hi there I just want to let other customers know that the set of 3 is for 400g cans. And the set of 2 is for 800g cans. :)

I bought 3 sets of covers for cats food, after three days they cracked. Waste of money. I absolutely do not recommend .

Too big for my cans. Wasted my points, a bit annoying.

It's been 6 weeks since I bought 3, and all 3 are broken... There you go..

I see a lot of negative comments about the lids breaking. Honestly, I don’t know how that’s possible – the lids seem fine to me, I’ve been using them for a few months now and haven’t noticed any faults.

I bought this product for quality nutrition, in several flavours, but my two cats often won't eat this tinned food, even when it's freshly opened. I've been trying for a long time. Even when I mix it with something else, they still won't eat it. In that case, they won't eat the other food either. If I cover the leftovers and offer it at the next feeding, they never touch it. They'd rather go all day without eating. I tried giving it to the stray cats that come into my garden, since my own don't want it, but even there, only one of them eats it, and they're strays. I don't know why, but they won't eat Purizon either, same story. I'm not sure it's the product's fault.

The idea is good. The quality is really bad. I ordered several and they all arrived broken (with a tear in them).

Very useful for sealing wet food jars in the fridge. They fit most 200/400g cat food containers.

I didn’t realise these come in different sizes. They didn’t fit as lids on any of the canned foods (applaws, cosma, almo nature). The silicone lid I bought elsewhere, which fits many sizes, has been much better.

Very useful, but they break very quickly: they crack.

Tore straight away the first time I used it.

The product does its job, but if the can is even slightly bent or you use a bit too much force by accident, it cracks at the edges, which I'm really disappointed about.

So far, they're working very well and fit perfectly with the 400g cans.

Great lids for 800g cans. I recommend them!

The first one has unfortunately already torn and ended up in the bin... let's see if the other two last any longer (?)

I received the lids and on the very first use the rubber already broke because they're a couple of millimetres smaller than all the 400g tins. A few years ago I got them as a free gift with points and... same thing, broke straight away. I thought that after all this time they would have realised they weren't good and changed them. But NO.

The lids do fit, but they're hard to take off. It's especially tricky when there's liquid inside. Unfortunately, they don't last long. All three lids cracked from the edge to the middle after only a short time of use, so they're no longer usable.

Sustainable is something else—these lids barely last as long as the contents of the tin. I picked them out with my Zooplus points. The ones from a vegetarian organic bread spread have lasted through a second cat’s lifetime already, and they were free.

The lid is fine. I just worry that the little paw-shaped tab might break off.

After just two uses, I have to tape the lid together because it cracks. How is this the only lid option on zooplus?
