Doubled my cat's meal time
My cat can gulp 100g can food under 5 mins. With this bowl, he takes more than 10 mins. The only part I don't like is the bottom of the bowl is a reservoir for dishwasher water so I have to dry it again on the rack.

Best bowl for gobbling cats
One of my cats eats extremely quickly and often vomits afterwards. Since she’s been eating from this bowl (I mainly feed wet food), there haven’t been any problems anymore. She takes significantly longer and doesn’t vomit anymore.

Great idea
I have two cats one who likes to gobble his food down as quick as possible and the other who likes to take her time. I bought this as I wanted to stop my male cat eating so fast & then disturbing his sister so he can finish her food. It really does work. its slowed my cats eating down & his sister is getting the chance to finish her food. Yaaay

This is better!
My blind tomcat gets along well with the bowl and takes noticeably longer to eat. Since then, he hasn’t vomited anymore!
Easy to clean and, what I particularly like, it has a cut-out at the bottom edge for easier lifting.
I bought a second one straight away and gave it to my niece for her dog.

Perfectly thought out, this bowl
One of my tomcats is overweight, gobbles down his food in no time, and then steals his mate's portion afterwards. After a lot of searching online, I ended up choosing this bowl. It's fantastic for weight reduction. By eating more slowly, the feeling of fullness kicks in faster, and a smaller portion is enough. The non-slip edge is great, and cleaning it is super easy. I really like the grip recess because it keeps your hands clean. However, it would be nice to have a choice of colours.

Great bag
High-quality design; works brilliantly – he actually eats more slowly ["compartment by compartment," I might call it].

We are satisfied.
Perfect size for our Jack Russell Terrier. It's a shame it can't go in the microwave. Very sturdy and also easy to clean. We've already ordered another one.

Super bowl
Easy to clean and keeps our little one busy... very good material... I went ahead and ordered a second one straight away... unfortunately, it’s not available in a slightly smaller size, but we can manage with this one. It would also be great if it were microwave-safe, but I already knew that when I placed the order.

It's not worth it.
With our Chihuahua, the bowl only makes him take a few seconds longer to eat. I had expected significantly more from it. In my opinion, it’s not worth buying a new bowl for that.

My cat still manages to gobble through this
I used this with dry food and my cat still managed to "hoover" up the dry food pellets in the 3 compartments and threw it all up again shortly. The compartments are too big for determined gobblers.

Frustration with our "vacuum cleaner"
Since our Galga is basically a vacuum cleaner and inhales everything within seconds, we decided to buy one of these bowls. She was absolutely shocked because she can no longer devour everything so quickly. Brilliant, I’m really pleased with the positive effect.

Great
After some initial hesitation, the bowl was accepted by my cat quite quickly. In addition to the bowl, I also mash the wet food. I can really recommend it.

Super bowl - works well for my tomcat
I bought the bowl because my cat always gobbles down his food extremely quickly and then often throws up. I have to say, I’m IMPRESSED! My cat FINALLY has to take more time to eat. He also has to put in a bit of effort, but that’s exactly the point of an anti-gobble bowl: the cat can’t gobble anymore, and he got used to it quickly. On top of that, the quality is EXCELLENT: it’s made of hard plastic (melamine), free from plasticisers. I find the bowl very sturdy!

Doesn't do a thing.
I've had several bowls of this type before, but this one doesn't deserve its title as an anti-gulping bowl. My two dogs, no matter which one I give the bowl to, empty it in just a few seconds, which has never been the case with other bowls of this kind. The ridges are far too shallow, and my dogs eat as if there were none at all. Since my old bowl from Fressnapf broke when it fell, I chose this one because my old one doesn't seem to be available anymore. I also ordered the metal one here, which only has one large ridge in the middle, and I have to say it's great, although not as pretty as this one. So, you'd be better off buying the metal one—it won't break if it falls and, most importantly, it actually serves its purpose. For real gulpers, this one is not recommended.

(Update) Good to very good
As an update to previous post - I tried the 0.6l bowl on our (smaller) medium sized cat and with the 0.6l bowl, as another reviewer found, our cat tended to hook out the wet food sometimes dispersing a piece over the floor unnoticed by him. A good product though for those it works with.

Good idea but for small(er) cats
Our cat is on the small side of medium in size but couldn't or wouldn't eat his wet pouch food out of this 0.4l bowl, I didn't try dry food as I've got the Stimulo and the Northmate Catch. I like the idea of this Savic bowl so I'm going to try our cat with the 0.6l bowl (in the dog section) instead.

Anytime again
The bowl is absolutely brilliant. My Jack Russell Terrier is incredibly greedy and has chronic bowel inflammation, so eating more slowly is especially important. With his special food and this bowl, eating and digestion work wonderfully. Before, nothing could slow him down.

Does what it says it should
I bought this for my young cat who does a credible impression of a hungry hippo when eating biscuits - opens her mouth, shovels the food in and uses the far end of the bowl to push everything in! This bowl has stopped that, much to her disgust. The biscuits last a lot longer.
