Bought this as my big male cat is on a diet and being a former stray he eats fast and gobbles food. I like the fact that this is china and not plastic (cats do not like to eat from plastic). It is a good size and the design means it is easy to clean. It has weight which means it does not slide on the floor. Making my cat eat much slower which is what it is designed to do. Excellent product.

I bought the slow feed bowl as my cat was gulping down dry food only to bring it up after 5-10 minutes. My pet took a couple of days to figure how to grab the kibbles. This bowl made such a difference and allows my cat to eat more slowly. Less throwing up. The bowl is sturdy and washes well.

Works well, the cats tongues can get in between the nubs no issue, my cat is just an idiot and decided he didn't like eating with it because he kept hitting his teeth on the nubs because he was still eating too fast. Good otherwise! Easy cleaning even with hand washing.

My dog is a real glutton when it comes to eating and she eats super fast, then after a little while she throws it all up. Our little mouse was hardly eating at all due to illness, and now that she's feeling better, she doesn't just eat—she wolfs down everything that comes near her nose. Because of that, she's often ended up being sick. And her sister didn't get much of her own food either. We've already tried a few different bowls, but none of them managed to stop her from gobbling. It really solves the problem of gobbling. My cat is calmer and doesn’t throw up the food as often as before.
