My cat likes to scoop his biscuits up so looked for a slow feeder - this one works really well for the kibble and puts a stop to that unlike other types. The only reason it isn't 5* is the coating on the bumps doesn't last very long, when it's only handwashed too. But definitely worth the price and my cat has no issues with the depth

Feeding our two tomcats is akin to a predator feeding frenzy. Both are extremely greedy. Conclusion after 6 months: The bowl slows down their gobbling a bit, especially if, like us, you fill it with (warm) water as well. Points deducted for the coating, which chips off very quickly and ends up being eaten. After just a few meals, the "bumps" in the middle are already bare. Still, a recommendation – we've already reordered.

After a week of daily use, some paint has chipped off. I didn’t expect that. It’s never been inside a dishwasher. It definitely serves its purpose. I even feel like my cat eats even slower than with the other anti-gulping bowl.
