Catit PIXI Blue Drinking Fountain

Took 6 days to arrive. Came with 2 pin plug so had to use plug off my old one. Other than that it’s ok. My last one lasted a year and 7 months - the cable inside was exposing the wire. Hope this one lasts.

After getting used to it, they've started to like it, but they needed some time to adjust because it "makes noise".

I think it's super cute, but after just one month my cat chewed up the little plastic tap a bit, so now hardly any water comes out. Unfortunately, there's no replacement part for it, which is a shame 😟

We've had it for about 6 months now and clean it once a week. It runs reliably. Our outdoor cats like to drink from it every now and then, especially now during the hot days. Cleaning would be a bit easier if the cable/pump could be detached (more) easily. The cable could also be a few centimetres longer; for us, it's just barely long enough. We also bought a 'motion sensor socket' so it doesn't run all the time. Good value for money.

My kitten (4 months old) loves this fountain! He drinks from it often. It's completely silent and the light doesn't bother us at night. The only downside I’d mention is that when the water is running low—but not completely out—the light stays on as usual and the water flows as normal, but the pump starts making a slight noise. It took me half a day to realise the water was running low. The manual says the light should blink, but it didn’t. Otherwise, it’s absolutely great!

Easy to assemble, works quietly. The cat isn’t interested for now, but that will probably change—it just needs some time.

The listing doesn’t clearly show the product’s measurements. With so many products in the same post, it’s hard to tell. The filters I bought are very square-shaped. I went by the picture and thought they would fit well. I’ll still use them by squeezing them in and making them fit, at least until I buy the original brand replacement (which is more expensive). They seem to be good quality. The mistake was mine for not checking the filter size.

My old fountain lasted 10 years with the same pump, also bought here! I hope this new model will do just as well. It looks nice and is quiet. But I have no idea how to adjust the flow rate??? If anyone can help, thank you!

I wanted to thank someone for their review that really helped me—a certain Regis. I’ve had this fountain for a while, and the water jet had been getting weaker and weaker for some time. No matter how much we cleaned it, nothing worked. I even bought a new pump, but we followed this person’s advice on how to clean it, and now everything’s back to normal. Thank you so much!

Both my cats (male & female, both neutered) accepted the fountain without any problems and drink from it. The only issue I have is that my tomcat scratches or “digs” at it, and I just can’t train him out of it. I love the fountain because it’s so nice and quiet and stays clean (also easy to clean), but the fact that my tomcat can move it around so easily is a real problem for me. I’ll have to come up with a solution myself.
