Good for about a year but...
Part of the problem is that I cannot get my three yr old cat to drink out of it!! I put it in dishwasher one a week, refresh with clean filtered water. I use a hard water filter and change it meticulously monthly. However, in the last two or so months, black bits of carbon..quite a few. can be found in the water even when the filter is brand new that day! I think it is a good product with simple care instructions but sadly I am going to have to give up on it!!!....

Very noisy
The hum from the new style pump in this water fountain is so loud it can be heard throughout the house. This fountain was a replacement for one we'd had for five years without any problems or noise until the wire into the pump eventually broke. The old style pump had a different adjustment and suction pads that held the pump in place. The new pump vibrates and hums. Now looking for an entirely different brand of water fountain. Very disappointed. Would no longer recommend this product.

Rusty screw in contact with water
There’s a screw in tower part that’s in contact with the water, I would have thought this would be rust proof! It went rusty very quickly which I noticed when the cats were refusing to drink from it anymore!! I am very upset with this!

Always hydrated
Our cats love this fountain and always drink plenty that's to fresh water circulation.
Good for only a short time.
Unfortunately this works well for only a short time. We filled it up with filtered water (so the cats were getting double filtered!) but even with regular changes to the filter and cleans the motor got clogged quickly. Very high maintenance device...

Not worth it
Really great at first, but not for long. Purchased for my 3 cats, using only purified water, as I wanted to ease a potential dental issue with one of them. It worked fine for all of 3 months, at the most… I kept on top of the filter changes and cleaning but the little motor kept getting clogged up and spitting out nasty gunk and couldn’t be cleaned… it eventually just stopped working.
Definitely won’t be buying again.

To begin with I thoroughly cleaned the Fountain completely once a week. After three days I had to get rid of all the water completely and fill with fresh. Black growth of fungal organisms. It has got worse over time - 7/12/21 I thoroughly cleaned again, hot water, detergent, with scrubber, the wire brush that came with filters, toothbrushes, cotton wool buds. It looked in pristine condition - Filled it, switched on, seconds later more black bits, changed the water again X4.HELP needed Please

we bought our first cat fountain a few years ago and it’s been absolutely great (still works perfectly) but decided to get a new one and there’s a few small changes that make it even better. too change for me is that it now comes with a cleaning brush for the spout thing. love it definitely recommend
Highly recommended
Took the cats several days to pluck up the courage to drink from this fountain, but now they love it. As soon as I fetch it, they wait eagerly for me to fill it up. They also love to stare at the flowing water and dip their paws in. Eventually they lose interest, but switching it off reignites their curiosity. It's so reassuring to know they are getting enough water. For the people complaining about it being scummy and hard to clean, I suspect they live in hard water areas.

Too much trouble to keep it clean
Keeping it clean is a nightmare. I have been disassembling the fountain and deep cleaning it every other day because it gets some foam and pinkish slimy scum. I have been using a straw cleaner brush to clean the holes, cotton buds to clean the part that connects to the water bomb and disassembling the water bomb to clean it. Nothing works. You need to do that every single day to allow your cats to drink clean water. Even replacing the filter every 2 weeks, it gets mouldy. It doesn't worth it!

My cat loves this fountain. When she had a bowl I noticed she wasn't drinking very much so I bought her this and that's totally changed.

Bit of a pain to clean
My cat's loved drinking from this. The only problem for me was cleaning it, every week I cleaned it. And every week it always built up slimy scum, I found it tricky to clean as you have to take it apart and get in all the little nooks and crannies. I used it for about a year but I now have gone back to using a normal water bowl, as I was worried it could give my cats an upset stomach.

Great Product, Cat is very happy!! My cat loves this & drinks loads of water. Please be aware that you have to maintain this regularly & clean it out... Filters need to get replaced. The whole needs to be disassembled regularly & cleaned including the pump. I use a descaler on & off & take it apart & pop the fountain bit into my dishwasher every so often. Use a toothbrush, earbud & toothpick to clean the motor out. It needs to be maintained the same as you would a fish tank filter...

I have 2 of these and all 4 cats prefer this fountain over the 2 other fountain designs I have.
Very easy to keep clean and filters are easy to source. Also nearly silent. Highly recommend

Got my cat one when diagnosed with CKD. He LOVES it. I chose this 1 as it is a fair price & has 3 levels - as he gets weaker he won’t have to lower his head to the ground to drink. He likes to drink from the middle bowl but I’ve seen him drinking from the running water too. He’s been used to havin water in the bedroom so I put it there. IT IS SO QUIET! hardly hear it & it hasn’t disturbed my sleep at all. Some I’ve seen have pump noise or running water is loud! I’m buying another for downstairs.

Awful design
Doesn't matter how much you clean this thing you will always have bits floating. I've given up with this and will buy one that actually works. The flow on it is also pitiful. Barely even flows

Always nothing but problems
We've been using this model for many years. But ever since the pump broke for the first time, it's been nothing but hassle.

I was quite hesitant about getting the fountain. There were plenty of positive reviews, but also quite a few negative ones. In the end, I'm happy with it. The fountain is quiet, easy to clean, the cable is long enough for my liking, and the pump has been working without any issues so far. Plus, my tomcat learned to drink from it within two days.

Broken pump and power supply
