Dodgy batch
Our cats usually love this food but we’ve had a batch that they just won’t touch. The lids look popped.

My cats have never eaten like this before
My 3 Bengals have never eaten so well as with this food and the 400g tins are a perfect size for their evening meal. Can't speak too highly of it. It all goes...fast! They have previously been so fussy! In addition, it smells really good! Very unusual for cat food.

This is the best you will find!
I have been searching for a good quality food for what seems like a lifetime as I am very conscious what I feed my 4 ragdolls, after trying the most expensive and most recommended, they wasn’t interested. However, they absolutely love smilla and are thriving off this food. It is perfect for them! I would highly recommend this to anybody that’s been searching high and low for a good cat food that doesn’t cost the earth. Check out their biscuits too they do a great range.

Happy cats - best texture for lump hating cats.
We've only tried the chicken and lamb so far and my three fussy cats loved it. So much so I've come here straight away to write the review. They lick the gravy or jelly of every food in a sachet or tin, in fact I started putting cat food into a smoothie maker for them so there were no lumps. They loved the texture of this food though, just plunged their faces in the bowls and ate it all. I just hope they still like it for a while as I got 24 cans!

What's changed?
Our diabetic cat has been on this for a year and it really helped him to lose weight as we could scrape the fat off as it solidified at the bottom of the tin. but now it seems like they are mixing it once cooled so there are small globules of fat throughout the tin which takes ages to dig out. We will sadly be changing foods.

We love smilla poultry pots
I have two cats who both love the poultry pot in beef, duck and poultry hearts varieties. Unfortunately the fish and lamb didn't go down too well so I stopped buying the mixed packs. Smilla is slightly wetter than other high quality cat foods, which is good for my two and they enjoy it. I like knowing that I'm not feeding them unnecessary grains, sugars and additives. The litter trays have been MUCH less smelly since moving to smilla from supermarket meat.

Smilla has changed - for the better!
I am so glad I revisited, the previous recipe none of my five would touch, however, I purchased the 800g tester tins & they loved all but one - fish being a real favourite. Back to stock up. Much prefer pate food as, the cats don't get the opportunity to only eat the jelly!

smilla has changed
I've bought Smilla from you for years now, but last order the varieties have changed. I ordered just thinking that the lables are now in English, but the varieties and the recipes are different and it's not gone down well with my cats.
I used to buy the 400g saver packs in Salmon, Beef and Chicken as these were the flavours my cats like.
The variety of options is gone, and the consistency of the new tins is like a pate.

Tender Poultry Saver pack
I bought this as a trial, which has gone down so well with my feline family I am back to buy more! No waste, nothing nasty in the food - it all gets eaten and quite quickly!

Good if you're on a budget
I've been buying this for a few months now. One of my cats is intolerant to grains, so this is a good budget friendly alternative. They both seem to like it. Their coats are lovely and shiney and I'm feeding less of the calorific dry food.

Tuna and Chicken
I have two cats, one who prefers wet food and another who prefers dry, so finding food they will both eat is tricky.
Having tried the mixed pack, I found they'll only touch the tender fish and poultry - Tuna and Chicken (not to be confused with the tender poultry and fish, which is more like a paté).
There are visible chunks of real meat and it smells good. I see the quality in my cats' fur and eyes.
I also feed them Almo Nature Holistic Chicken & Rice dry food in the morning.

Tuna with Sardines
My cats would rather starve than eat this! It made them very miserable.

Love the meat hate the fish
My cats have always loved Smilla; so I thought I'd try them with the tuna flavours. They won't touch it !! They'd rather starve - whereas they wolf down the chicken, lamb, beef etc;

My cats hated this.
I bought a large quantity of this after a friend gave me a few tins for my cats to try, they seemed to like it so, as I have six cats I ordered a load. They wouldn't touch it! I donated the whole lot to the local RSPCA centre who were very grateful, they said if the cats didn't eat it the dogs would. Lesson learned, never trust a cat!

Tuna! Smells great, looks like fish not corn beef!
My 2 cats loved the tuna. I was very impressed by the smell, consistency and price.

Tuna is a hit
My two moggies really like the Tuna (only) version of this food. The food itself looks just like human grade tuna but is darker in colour. I feed them this every couple of days as a change to their other wet foods that are chicken based.

Couldn't be better.
I'm a relatively new cat owner and have been following the crowd and adverts mistakingly believing that some pet foods were good for my kitties. It wasn't until I read the ingredients and discovered I was feeding my babies complete rubbish that I started looking for an alternative that was nutritious, tasty and had a decent meat content whilst being affordable. What I was surprised at was that even some of the 'recommended by vets' food was still low in meat content and full of grain and additives. I have already been using Zooplus for a long time buying decent litter so I decided to look at their food range and came across Smilla. The difference has been immediate. Their coats are shiny, they go for it as if they are piranhas and they adore this food. What Ive found is that they need less as its more nutritious. Their poo's are more compact and they no longer smell bad. I'm using both Smilla adult and Kitten as I have both and I would recommend it to everyone who has cats. It smells good enough for humans to eat and doesn't make me feel ill first thing in the morning when I have 4 cats crawling all over me wanting to be fed. If you are unsure, just give it a try-I promise you, your kitties and your purse-wont be disappointed!!

We love Smilla!
This is undoubtably the best quality food I have ever fed my cats, forget all the fancy adverts for supposedly amazing but expensive cat food packed with cereals, this knocks spots of it! Very high fish content and zero grains or fillers, my bengals sensitive tummy loves it and so does she. Since changing from "high street brands" to this, her dull lank greasy coat now gleams, her bloated tummy has deflated and her naughty streak has returned alive and in abundance. I cannot rate Smilla highly enough, its simply fab, so good I've even considered putting it in hubby's sandwiches!

Fish Cat food
My cats love this. Really impressed that it has actual fish in, as are my cats!
