Royal Canin Veterinary Cat - Renal Loaf

Don’t want to give a very low rating because I’m sure eg food is premiums. But my sphynx cat ate the first serving. Was probably curious. But that’s it — no more.

We had some mixed results with this product. I've been searching for renal food for my cat for a while. She tried some of this and was initially interested. But I think she doesn't like the loaf texture and eventually she stopped eating this food. We switched to Royal Canin Renal with Chicken and she seems to like that food more.

Of all the Royal Canin Veterinary Cat renal range, the Loaf is my cat's least favourite. She loves the gravy of the other flavours, but the loaf doesn't come with any sauce.

I don't know if Royal Canin has changed something in the formula lately. Now my cats hate it.

Food prescribed by our vet for our cats with kidney issues. If I don’t mix it or add a bit of water, the cats won’t touch it. It’s not a question of quality, but my cats like sauce and strong smells, and this doesn’t really tempt them. However, for kidney problems, I do recommend it.
