Great product
My vet recommended trying this for my 15 week old kitten due to her very frequent, loose and smelly stools. Within two days she was a very different kitten. More energy and thankfully normal stools. She didn't like the kitten version unfortunately and now I am struggling to get her to eat anything else

No acceptance
Unfortunately, neither of my two chronically ill cats is enthusiastic about the wet food. They don't like the taste, even when I add treats to it. Moreover, unlike the dry food, it still causes diarrhoea.

Finally, proper food again
My 4-month-old cat had her stomach and intestines completely upset due to the worm treatment and vaccination. She had constant diarrhoea, and only cooked chicken provided relief. As soon as even a teaspoon of "normal" food was added to the chicken, the little one couldn't keep anything down again. Now I'm feeding her MoorLiquid from LUPO in combination with Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Gastro Intestinal, and it's being tolerated perfectly! We're now able to slowly start mixing her usual food back in.

Two 12-week-old kittens with gastrointestinal issues and refusal to eat
Both 12-week-old kittens refused their food; Azrael vomited more and had diarrhoea, which caused him to become dehydrated quickly and often – Anubis ate and drank a bit more. After several visits to the vet, I was given this wet food for the two of them because it’s high in calories and they had lost weight.
At first, I was sceptical because I’m not a fan of sugar and grains in pet food. But they’re eating this, and their stools are getting firmer. They’re doing better! Thank you!

Super for gastritis
One of my cats often suffers from gastritis. During those times, she can only eat rice and boiled chicken or this special food. For a bit of variety in her bowl, I give her this special food. She really likes it, and my other cat loves it too. This way, I don’t have to worry if the sick cat eats from the healthy one’s bowl.
However, she has an allergic reaction to the light version of this food (she scratches herself until she’s bleeding).

Not just for diarrhoea, but also for severe constipation
A few years ago, our tomcat had an accident where nerves in his spine were damaged due to a tail avulsion. As a result of bladder and digestive system impairment, he suffered from terrible constipation, which eventually led to megacolon, numerous vet visits, and finally a suitable change in his diet. Since he started eating this food, he has been able to pass stool again and has regained his quality of life. He enjoys eating it, and it helps him.

If there is indigestion
This always helps with diarrhoea and is highly accepted by the cats. The matching dry food is also available soaked as an extra.

Her favourite
The vet recommended this for my 16 yr old Siamese and now she is addicted to it big time. She is 9lb 2oz and eats this food like it is going out of fashion

Simply brilliant
After my tomcat had a severe case of giardia and was suffering from constant diarrhoea, I fed him this food exclusively for 4 months and stopped giving him anything else. His stools improved, and I was gradually able to mix in other food. Now he's back to eating regular food. This was the only thing that helped, as he wouldn’t touch any other gastrointestinal food. I can only recommend it.

Doesn't taste good.
My little Pastieschen has digestive issues and was prescribed this food.
The dry food is well received, but she really doesn’t like the wet food.
It always gets left untouched, so I switched to turkey with rice.

My three furry friends won't eat it.
Unfortunately, RC Gastro isn't being accepted; the bowls remain full.
We're sticking with Kattovit now, as it contains NO sugar (unlike Royal Canin, unfortunately!) and gets gobbled up in no time.

Good
I actually think it's very good. Since I started giving this food to my cat (12), she has gained weight nicely (she had unfortunately dropped to 2.5kg :( ). I'm only deducting one star because there are no flavour varieties, and my cat is quite picky, so I have to mix it with other food for her to eat it.

Excellent GI Food
Very tasty to the cat but as with gravy they can just lick it off. Not offence in odour.

Top
My 9-year-old cat has chronic intestinal inflammation; she tolerates the food well and really enjoys eating it. Her well-being and health have improved.
Thankfully, I can now order it through zooplus and no longer have to make the long trip to the vet.

The Best Food Ever!!!
My cat BSH cream male has had so many sicknesses for 1 year now. Vets didn't know what his problem was for a while.... From antibiotics, to constipation, to ear infection, to bowel smell...throw ups... digestion.. name it all.. until the vet gave probiotics only 3 days course he was well. So She said, why don't you try Royal Canin Gastro... and you know what? my boy loves it. He is eating, (touch wood) and he has great bathroom, he can digest, and he feels his appetite is back! Thanks so much!!!

Perfect for my new kittens
My kittens suffered from severe dihorea for several weeks. Started them on this and it worked a treat. Slowly weaned them onto their normal food but really help out with a messy situation.

Very good product
We fed our 19-year-old cat with the same food in the dry food variety until a few months ago. Since her teeth had become very bad in the meantime, and the vet didn’t want to take any risks due to her age and extreme weight loss, we switched to the wet food. Luzie is doing really well with it, she enjoys it (especially the jelly :-) ) and she’s eating more again than before.
