Concept for Life Veterinary Diet Saver Pack 24 x 185g/200g

My 2 year old rescue cat Rafael needs twice daily myotonine to urinate, after his tail was degloved and surgically amputated as a 4 month kitten. This medication caused Rafael some faecal incontinence, manifesting as smudging & spotting of wet faeces. I ordered Concept for Life Gastrointestinal, when the brand I gave Rafael was unavailable. It has been a life-changer. Rafael now consistently has normal faeces, with no dripping or smudging. I can't recommend this food enough.

This food looks like raw mince meat with potato chunks so not for those who may not like that visual. I tried my cat on this food and she didn’t like it at all. My other cat liked it but she isn’t the one with the kidney issues but it is obviously one of those foods that some like and some don’t.

I bought the big pack of 24 as it was a good price, I still do think its a good price to say its hypoallergenic food. Unfortunately, my boy with IBS just didn't like it, at all. He would sniff if and instantly walk away, he's not usually a fussy cat so I was quite disappointed. I used 2 tins trying to tempt him by heating it slightly, adding a bit of water so it was more like a gravy etc. He would still walk away. Thankfully we have a local rescue in our area so we donated the remaining 22 tins

Disappointed with this product. Neither of my cats will eat it, smells awful, and they usually love salmon food.

Bulk bought this as my usual order was out of stock... now I have loads of food that will not be touched! Only way to get her to eat it is it mix with other normal food, which defeats the object of having special food.

My cat who will eat anything she can get to (poppadoms, bird seed...) won’t touch this. It’s not completely surprising - the grey mush looks totally unappetising :(

Good price and they work, my cat is very picky and these tins suit him well, he also eats them without any problem.

The photo shows food with chunks of meat, and that's exactly why I bought it, but in reality it's a very dense pâté. Since Panda refuses to eat pâté, I ended up wasting my money.

I used to give this wet food to my cats and kittens and they loved it—it was a terrine and you could even see little bits of pumpkin in it. But with my last order, surprise! It’s just a bland, compact mousse with no smell, and now all the cats are turning their noses up at it. Please let us know when you change the texture or the recipe! That way I wouldn’t have wasted my money. Really disappointed, I definitely don’t recommend this product.

My cats and kittens love it, the ingredients are excellent. I recommend it, even if you don’t have any particular digestive issues.

My cat has kidney and bladder stone problems. After a long search for something that works—because Hills didn’t work—and since there was hardly any food with this combination, this is a really great solution! He also really likes it and eats it well. It suits him perfectly.

It’s well tolerated, but only eaten if there’s nothing else and the hunger is big. However, the dry food from this brand’s range gets devoured.

My tomcat really likes eating this food. We also feed him chicken from this brand, but my impression is that the beef keeps him full for longer.
