Tick Treatments

Ticks can be found everywhere, in towns and in the countryside. They attach themselves to cats and dogs, especially those that like to roam and explore in fields and undergrowth. Ticks are most active in spring and summer, but also on mild winter days. Not all ticks are infected, but it is a good idea to check frequently for ticks by running your hands over your pet's body to see if there are any unusual lumps or bumps, especially around the head, neck, ear and feet area. Ticks must be removed quickly to prevent infection. Regular topical parasite treatments will help to ensure that any ticks that have affixed themselves to your pet are killed.
