NOT SUITABLE FOR HAMSTERS

Well below recommended size for hamsters, and the height makes it dangerous as hamsters aren’t agile climbers and have poor eyesight. Not sure why this is advertised for hamsters.

My hamster has managed to open the door and escape and not been found so really not worth the money

Good cage for mice not hamsters or gerbils.

This looks like a good cage 4 1-3 mice. Mice r natural climbers & r good at it. u may c hamsters climb, but this isn't natural & is mostly due 2stress & they can fall & hurt themselves. This being a tall cage, it isn't great 4hamsters. Hamsters need a cage/tank 80cm*50cm long minimum, like the Barney skyline cage. Mice do like 2burrow, so please fill up bedding to the base . The wire gap is also good 4mice.Gerbils LOVE 2burrow, so they need 8inch+ bedding and hamsters 6+

Lovely hammy home 💙🐹💙

Lovely home for my Syrian ham, Edmund and my ham before him who sadly passed away, Gloria 💔 Lots of room to run about. I adapted the cage slightly using shelves from my previous cage as both Edmund and Glo enjoy/enjoyed climbing and the solid floors didn't enable this. I cut a hole in the middle floor which gave access to climb from the bottom to the top with ease. I painted the flooring with Plastikote so that it was waterproof or the wood have been ruined. Would definitely recommend this cage

perfect for mice!!

i have two fancy mice that i bought a six weeks. i had been having trouble finding a cage with small enough bar gaps. my mice love this cage and so do i. it came with a tiny crack in the base but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a little tape. the wheel is very big, so i would suggest a flying saucer/disk wheel instead (it better for their backs too!!)

Too small

I bought this cage and it is very nice but I found out afterwards that it is too small for a syrian hamster. The bare minumum required is 80x50cm of floor space, without counting the shelves. This was for my first hamster. She keeps biting the bars of the cage and looks generally stressed. Please do not put your hamster in such a small space.

Not the best but would recommend

I liked the look when it arrived it had a huge gap on the top and my hamster could get through that gap I had to cable tie it.After paying the price wasn’t really worth the big expense but I’m going to carry on using

Hanster mansion

After reading some reviews I was a bit sceptical in purchasing this cage, but I am so glad I did. Took two of us ten minutes to set it up- top tip place bottom shelf lower than meant to so wheel doesn’t rub on it. It’s so spacious and airy for my hamster, 10/10 recommend

Nice looking cage but no protection in pacakaging

My 10year old daughter saved up all her money and was really excited to have it delivered not once but twice the cage base came to us cracked and broken.i do love the look of the cage and will be perfect for my daughters hamster I just think that it could have been packaged a lot better.

Best cage I’ve ever seen

Was a bit fiddly to put together but well worth it. Have mainly had plastic cages before this where bits kept snapping off which is virtually impossible with this cage. It’s only our first day of having it but our hamster loves it and so do I. It’s very chic looking and has plenty of space for her to run around and for all her toys as well. Only downside is the picture shows 4 clips to fix the top of the cage to the bottom but mine only came with 2 not a big problem but 4 would’ve been better

Could not be better

Reading all of these reviews kind of put me off purchasing this product, but I got it anyway because it looked a great size for my Syrian Hamster to live in. It arrived when expected. My hamster loves the cage and if you are wondering if to purchase it or not then do it! It is well worth the money!

Overall a good cage, a few improvements needed

Arrived with the base shattered in several places, but as it was needed asap to replace a tiny cage from petsathome (recommended by staff in store) I decided to just try my best to patch it up with sticky tape. Varnished all the wood with Plastikote (extra £10 spent). The logs, wheel and house are too small for a Syrian. Had to make my own border for the food level (top), but will probably make one for the middle level too. No water bottle was included. Pictures uploaded. Overall happy.

Mouse mansion!

This cage is very big and my three girls love it. It's fiddly to put together, especially alone. Sealing the floors and slopes is essential, I'd have rather that they were plastic with sides for ease of cleaning. Overall it's not easy to clean, doors are small, not enough of them or in the right place. I ordered two, one arrived with a crack in the corner of the base which was very annoying. Base clips are flimsy and feel insecure for it's weight and height, it is quite heavy Lovely size though!

Will be purchasing a new cage. Not worth the money

This cage is the perfect size for a Syrian. However, there are lots of issues that I wasn't aware of until its arrival. My cage arrived damaged, with 3/4 corners of the base cracked. I was expecting the base to be sturdy and reliable, but found it to be flimsy; inevitably prone to damage. Putting this cage together was tedious and took a good amount of time. Cleaning is a nightmare, as you're unable to separately remove the wire barring to access each floor. It's heavy and awkward to move.

Good size but not practical

I have had this cage for a few months now and my two female mice love it. There's lots of space and they have not escaped from it. However, the wooden platforms can not be covered with anything and my mice have soiled the wood very badly. Cleaning it from the wood is very difficult and it's beginning to smell so I'm going to have to replace the floor.

Not user friendly

Purchased this product looking at other reviews, but was disappointed almost immediately. Product is very fiddly to put together, plastic handles just do not work. The biggest issue I have with it, is that two upper floors cannot be covered with sawdust or bedding material; but that's where our hamsters love to poop! Every morning, there is poop scattered everywhere around the cage. There should be some kind of upstand to help keep stuff inside the cage.

Great Mouse Cage!

I absolutely love this cage. I'm using it for a (very spoilt) single male mouse. It was easy to set up and the accessories are a great size for a mouse! He definitely can't get out with the cage spacing either! I coated the shelves for extra protection and my mouse loves the toys that come with the cage! The wheel is okay, a good size, but I found it difficult to attach. Its not as nice as his current one though but would be a great starter wheel.
