Prevention !

My elderly boy, has been on Urinary S/O biscuits for some while. They have definitely helped in the prevention of crystals forming again in his urethra, which for him was life threatening.

Good but getting pricey

I have both of my male cats on this RC dry food, which they love. It helps or even prevents urine infections that male cats are prone to. The only problem is that the price increases every few months. Not very long ago this bag was £11.99

Very good food

My cat's urine smelled very pungent and strong. My vet then recommended this food to me. My cat is very picky and doesn't eat everything. I was sceptical at first. She accepted the food straight away and eats it gladly. After just a few days, the smell of her urine improved. And after several weeks, her urine smells normal. I'm glad my cat has accepted and tolerates the food. I can highly recommend it.

Product change?

My cat has been on this for over eight years with no issues at all but since getting a new bag won’t eat it. When he does try a few he gags on them ! Will be switching him to a different brand

Nele doesn't like it.

I’ve tried out a lot of dry foods to combat struvite stones. Our vet recommended this one to us because we had to have Nele operated on two days before Christmas – she had a struvite stone near the bladder exit. She doesn’t like it at all; she’d rather go hungry, unfortunately. It’s too expensive for me to just throw it in the bin now. Luckily, I’ve found two other dry foods here that she really enjoys eating, as she absolutely refuses to eat wet food.

Good food, but the price.

My cats have tolerated the food well so far, but with this price increase, I’ll try a different one.

Has Not Stopped UTI Flare Ups

My female cat has suffers episodes of what im told is a UTI, where the urine turns dark yellow / brown with some blood present. A blood test was taken to rule out kidney disease. They gave her an anti inflammatory injection & an antibiotic. They also recommended a special urinary diet which helps make the PH of urine less alkaline & eliminates crystals. This all helped but after feeding this expensive urinary S/O dry feed for almost a year a flare up has now occured with haematuria present.

Very good food, but...

I had to switch to Urinary because one of my two had high inflammation levels in the bladder, along with crystals in the urine. Since both have been eating this food (now more as a preventative measure), everything is back to perfect condition. Plus, their fur has become super shiny and soft. However, my two would only eat this food if they were allowed to ;) Points deducted for the non-resealable bag (9 kg).

Good food, but.....

My tomcat tolerates this food very well and finally no longer has struvite stones. The downside, in my opinion, is that there used to be 9 kg bags, but now they've been reduced to 7 kg for almost the same price as the previous 9 kg bags...

Highly Recommend for Urinary Issues

My cat suffered from blocked bladder problems and a build up of crystals. He spent over 5 days in the vets and overnight in pet hospital when he suffered from his blocked bladder. He had several catheters to help unblock him and flush out the crystal build up. Ever since putting him on this special diet he has has no further problems and has improved so much. This food also encourages him to drink so much more, which helps with his urinary problems.

Highly recommended food for urinary stones!!!

Our tomcat had struvite stones and was barely able to pass urine. On the advice of our vet, we ordered this food, which led to success quite quickly! For the first 1-2 weeks, we supplemented with a urinary paste, but we were able to stop using it soon after. Our furry friends are very particular and picky when it comes to different types of food. Both of them accepted and ate this one straight away. We’re happy and can only recommend it! 🦊

Top!!!

I’ve been feeding this food for 4 years now. Before that, two cases of struvite stones and surgery within 9 weeks. Switched both cats to this food. Since then, no more problems!! And they love eating it!! I can only recommend it!!!! Thank you, Royal Canin, for this amazing food that’s giving my cats a long life!!

Stops my cats getting infections

My cats used to get infections a lot. Since switching to this, they haven’t gotten any and have been in perfect health. Would recommend.

It helped my tomcat.

My tomcat had problems with struvite stones (urinary grit). We even had to go to the veterinary clinic because his condition was quite serious. On the recommendation of our vet and based on experiences shared online, we came across this food. It helped my tomcat (3 years old) straight away. Since then, there have been no more issues. His brother likes the food too. I would recommend it to everyone. Of course, only after consulting with a vet.

Worked for my cat

After an emergency blocked bladder situation that involved a hospital stay, a lot of stress and $$$ I switched to this food. 3 years later, he's not had any bladder issues and don't even think about it anymore. I make sure he gets wet food as well.

Highly recommended

Since the vet recommended this food to me, my BKH-Coon mix tomcat has been mainly eating it. He enjoys it, and there are no longer any issues with urination.
