Product description

A low carbohydrate, grain-free wet dog food to suit the nutritional needs of older dogs aged 7+ years. With lots of meat protein, it mimics the wolf's natural eating habits.

Wolf of Wilderness Senior is available in the following varieties:

  • Green Fields - Lamb & Chicken with wild berries, roots and wild herbs:
    • Dogs love the strong taste of lamb. It is refined with cranberries and currants.
  • Wild Hills - Duck & Veal with wild berries, roots and wild herbs:
    • Duck meat provides easily digestible proteins and fats. Blueberries and raspberries round off the food.
  • Mixed Pack (2 Varieties) contains the following varieties:
    • 4 x 800g Green Fields - Lamb & Chicken
    • 2 x 800g Wild Hills - Duck & Veal
As full family members, our dogs faithfully support us every day and therefore deserve a species-appropriate diet. Due to their descent from wolves, our dogs are carnivores and omnivores, which has not changed over the course of evolution. That's why Wolf of Wilderness set itself the goal of following the wild instinct of the wolf when developing the food and therefore only used original components of the wolf's diet in the recipes. Research into the natural eating habits of wolves has shown that their diet mainly consists of meat from a prey animal, in combination with wild berries, roots and wild herbs, which are absorbed, for example, through the stomach contents of the prey animal. Since the wolf consumes almost no carbohydrates in the wild, we have kept the carbohydrate content in our food low and have not used any grains.

Wolf of Wilderness senior food has the following benefits:

  • The kidneys can be relieved by reducing raw materials containing phosphorus and adjusting the Ca/P ratio
  • Maintaining brain activity can be supported by adding DHA-rich algae flour
  • Can promote the preservation of cartilage and joints - through the addition of the valuable building blocks glucosamine and chondroitin sulfate
  • Can support the general health and agility of the senior dog - due to the higher content of vitamins and nutrients

The total proportion of muscle meat and other animal components is at least 66%. The grain-free recipe from Wolf of Wilderness provides easily digestible proteins and fats and is only supplemented with wild berries, roots and wild herbs.
The mixture of wild berries in combination with dandelion roots and herbs from forests and meadows such as ribwort plantain, nettle and yarrow are also suppliers of important vital substances, minerals and secondary plant substances.

Love at first bite!
This is Chico's first senior food! I didn't think that he would enjoy it this much!

Two sick German shepherd's...
I love wolf of wilderness and they are alright with the other wet flavours and dry food however they can't eat this one, everytime they had it my dogs got sick and threw up. I put them back on the other ones and were fine. Maybe they just don't agree with my dogs but it was worrying the effect it had on them.

Wolf of Wilderness Senior
This is the best food that we have found for our senior dog who has several allergies. It also smells very pleasant... he had been getting dry food, now we will give him a mix. High quality and a fair price.

Amazing - almost no sugar
My doggy is a big fan! It took me a very long time (she is 12 years old) to find food that doesn't make her feel ill or gain excessive weight. If you look at the ingredients there is only 4.6% sugar (if I'm not mistaken) which is amazing!

Very satisfied
Our 13 year old Pointer Mix always had trouble with diarrhea, which prompted us to try out this food and since I bought it I haven't looked back. From the moment he started eating this without any other treats he has been doing so much better. It comes highly recommended, in both flavours!

The best!!!
Just perfect!! Wolf of Wilderness was already perfect and then they adapted it for senior dogs... notably enriched with linseed oil... I switch between the two for my 12 year old Cocker who now sees mealtimes as a real treat and something to look forward to !!! She has a wonderful coat even at her age... her food has had a big part to play in that... Soon it will have been a year using this brand ! My only regret is not finding it sooner...

Fantastic quality
My black Labrador has recently been diagnosed with an aggressive cancer and following major surgery and currently going through chemotherapy have been advised to change his diet to grain free. I chose this food as it is as natural as possible and very little carbohydrates, only potato in it, as carbs can help to feed cancer cells apparently. He can't get enough of it which is great as he is not the usual greedy Labrador that will eat anything. Looks great and not sloppy but big chunks.

WOLFSENIOR
My Boxer loves taking her time but she couldn't stop herself with this food. I think that's a good sign. Grain free and healthy food.
