The salvation after months of diarrhoea

Our Giant Schnauzer is now two years old. She has had constant problems with diarrhoea right from the start, even as a puppy. Nothing helped. The vet couldn’t find anything except an unfavourable microbiome in her gut. Probiotics and prebiotics, changes in diet – none of it worked. Now we’ve tried this fibre-rich food (crude fibre over 10%). Apparently, it tastes really good. And after just one day, her stools were firm and have stayed that way ever since. Never anything else again!

Cat loves this food

My cats been having problems passing stools for months. After a trip to the vet, some laxatives and this food he has gone from every three days to daily! I also feed him applaws with pumpkin in the morning for extra fibre, with a normal wet pouch (sheba) of an evening. Life saver and a decent price considering.

Excellent

Hello, I have a dog from the animal shelter. He has always had problems and couldn't tolerate "normal" food. Then we switched to the Gastro Intestinal... he immediately pounced on the food, but what came out in the end still wasn't perfect (starting firm, ending like a kind of diarrhoea). Then I ordered the Gastro Intestinal HIGH FIBRE as a trial pack. From now on, I won't buy anything else...

Fibre Response

My dog had digestive problems. Rumbling in her stomach, diarrhoea, and she had to go out up to four times a night. Since she started eating this food, she hasn’t had any issues anymore. I also give her a small spoonful of wet food with it. She loves her food in this combination, and she’s doing well.

Problems solved

My Pit had problems with loose stool and dysentery, struggling to gain weight. My vet recommended this food and the problem disappeared within a couple of days. On the advice of the vet I have been using this for a year and the problem has not returned, with weight normal. I strongly recommend it.

Super 100% reliable!!!

We use this as cat food, and since then, our tomcat has been able to eat without any issues again..... Works 100% and is eaten willingly. The composition is admittedly awful, but it works daily, and the alternative would be total constipation, intestinal blockage, and clearing under anaesthesia. We've been through all of that already. I wouldn't wish it on anyone! And the cat, well, it would eventually be the end of them.

100% reliable!

I have the cat food version and our problems have all been solved - works 100% and is well eaten. The recipe is bad but it works and the alternative is constipation and bowel obstruction, leading to anaesthetic removal. We have already dealt with all that - I'd wish it on no-one!

Very effective

My dog was operated on for a perineal hernia and we were told to give antibiotics, which acted as a laxative and seemed like a lot of medication. I chose to buy this food and it has worked wonders. I wet it with a little water and there were no problems post-op.

Good remedy

We have a small dog and it is almost impossible to find a suitable food (small breed, digestive problems, gastritis, dental problems). We bought this food on the vet's recommendation as it is high in fibre and he feels fantastic, loves the food. It is the right size for his jaws and his stool is the right consistency. However, in just 1 month he has gained 1kg and I decided to alternate between this and Hill's Mini Light - great.

Saved my dog's life

My Golden Retriever suffered a trauma and the nerve controlling peristaltic movements was affected. The consequences were sever constipation, malabsorption and general unwell feeling. I tried more expensive foods but nothing helped. The food recommended by the vet made it worse, but this regained intestinal mobility in just 3 days. Royal Canin saved his life!
