In order to reduce the risk of allergic reactions, this Royal Canin Veterinary Dog - Hypoallergenic Moderate Calorie dietetic dog food contains hydrolysed proteins as well as selected carbohydrates. The special recipe contains linoleic acid, amongst other ingredients, to help support the natural skin barrier. The lower calorie content of this Royal Canin Veterinary Dog - Hypoallergenic Moderate Calorie makes it suitable for sterilised and overweight dogs, which can help to support ideal weight maintenance.

Unfortunately, our dog is still itching!
We have been feeding this food for about 2 years now. Her coat looks very good overall. It’s shiny again and thick. Unfortunately, her paws still itch, and especially her rear end. She keeps rubbing herself there, and she has pustules on her tail with some fur missing. She hasn’t lost any weight with this food either, despite regular exercise!
We’ve already had her desensitised against mites. She looks much better than she used to, but I really wish she didn’t have to itch anymore.

Very good
My dog tolerates this low-calorie food better than regular hypoallergenic food. Previously, he often had heartburn in the mornings, but now with this variety, he doesn’t, as it contains less fat. Additionally, my dog prefers the taste of this variety.

Excellent dog food
It is now many years my dog is fed only with the Royal Canin Veterinary Hypoallergenic.
He digests it very well and love the flavours.

Brilliant - a great complete food for a dog with allergies
We have a lab x whippet tested for allergies at 6 months due to significant skin irritation, ear and anal gland infections 😔
After positive results for lamb, beef, chicken and pork our vet recommended this. Within a month there was a huge transformation. Now 18 months old we continually get comments "what a beautiful coat he has" There hasn't been any further skin problems, he's fit, healthy and full of energy. He loves this food and so do we! 😀

Super and digestible
We've been feeding this food for about 2 years now. Our female dog used to react with allergic diarrhoea and itching (she was tested twice – unfortunately, nothing was found). The vet then recommended this food, and after a short time, everything was back to normal. I'm glad this food is now available at Zooplus – brilliant!

Amazing and wholesome
We've been feeding our dog this food for about 2 years now.
Our dog would react with diarrhoea and itching with other foods (we tried 2 others and no joy)
Then the vet recommended this food and after a short while everything was great. I'm so glad I can now buy this food at zooplus!

Super food!
This food is just perfect for our highly allergic dog! He has finally gained weight, built muscle, and now has loads of energy. We were able to stop the medication, and he currently has no more itching. He loves eating it. Fantastic food – finally available at Zooplus! :-)
