The KONG Floppy Knots Fox dog toy is a jaunty little plaything for your pet. It has squeakers in its tummy and head to entice your dog to play and the materials used to make the toy provide a variety of different textures for your dog to chew. Kong floppy knots ( plus a Kong bear toy ) Not impressed!

I ordered these two toys for a Cocker Spaniel bitch I was collecting from a rescue centre a few days later. She’s 8 years old and has never had toys as she’s only been used for breeding. I thought having a toy to ‘cuddle’ would help her settle in to life in a proper home. When these toys arrived here neither of them squeaked and when I gave the fox to her, she carried it around proudly and then, within five minutes had detached the ear from the fox and swallowed it before I could stop her.

Still alive

This dog toy has lasted longer than any other soft toys I have bought. My staffie is 15mth old and destroys all her toys. This toy has no stuffing but has rope inside material, material has holes in it now but has not been shredded.

Unfortunately, it was nothing.

Our 7-month-old Labrador managed to completely destroy the toy in less than 30 minutes. To avoid any risks, I ended up cutting out the stuffing and squeakers through the hole he made. Such a shame, I had hoped the toy would last longer 😕

Better maintained than expected!

Our German Shepherd mix (7 months old) tears plush toys apart within a day. The fox lasted a whole week – which is really impressive! Inside, there’s hardly any stuffing, mostly more of the knotted rope, so you can safely keep using it even if it’s been ripped open. (Still, be careful, especially with the squeaker in the head.)

Class

The fox is really very sturdy so far. Our big dog loves playing with it, would buy it again anytime. It's already been through a few play sessions 😊

Lasts a long time and is sweet.

My dog loves playing with it, but she can also happily chew on the legs without the whole toy falling apart. Great quality!

Good

Fox by Kong is the best toy for our dogs. I've already bought it three times.

Again and again!

Already bought the second one in 6 months. My Lab loves his fox 🦊 and so do I. :) It’s been his toy from day one. Sturdy little arms, squeaker in the head – I think it’s perfect. My Lab is 8 months old today. Would happily buy again.

Superb quality!

We would definitely buy the fox again. Everything is well-made and sturdy. Great for playing together.

Terrible quality

After 5 minutes of chewing fun, the fox started falling apart into its individual pieces. What a shame!

Best toy ever

Bought it for the second time now, as the first one doesn’t look as nice anymore (just my opinion, the dog loves it). It’s very sturdy despite all the chewing and tugging. FULL RECOMMENDATION!

A cute and really sturdy toy

Very appealing toy. I think it's great that they’ve avoided using stuffing and instead used a sturdy braided rope. The size is perfect for my old German shepherd dog. However, my darling destroys every toy immediately. After 5 minutes, the inside was already visible. Such a shame, but there’s still enough solid rope left for chewing. Very well made.

Lasts longer than other toys/cuddly animals.

I've already bought it for the second time now. Unfortunately, this toy doesn't last very long with my dog :D But it does last significantly longer than many other toys.

Tough and Good Looking

A bit like me really... but seriously this is one of the better toys appearance wise and is as tough as the rope it is made of. My two year old Labrador is not really shredding things any more, so no guarantee against other younger dogs gnawing to bits, but will last well with an older hound. Have faith - puppies do usually calm down and the toys last longer as they get older.

Favourite toy

I've already ordered the third fox by now. But our Rocky loves it and enjoys chewing on it. Nothing lasts forever, after all. ;-)

Quite alright

Unfortunately, it didn’t squeak from the start, so only 4 stars. But Demion drags it around everywhere. He enjoys it.

Favourite toy

Our 2-year-old shepherd mix loves the squeaky fox. For over a month now, the toy has been chewed on intensively and squeaked daily. Apart from the fact that the fox is a bit dirtier by now, it still looks as good as new and is completely undamaged.

Smaller than expected, but okay

It squeaks, it's soft, and it's relatively sturdy. But every dog will eventually tear it apart. Very energetic dogs will probably do so quite quickly. Mine loves squeaking it and chewing on it gently rather than biting and ripping it aggressively. So it'll last for a while.

Milla loves it

We bought the toy for our 4-month-old puppy as she had started chewing on everything. She took to it straight away and can really spend time with it, chewing away happily.

Not very durable

My puppy destroyed this toy within a week – he chewed the head off. Although the rest could still be used, I had to throw the fox away because stuffing was spilling out of the head – for a puppy, perhaps a sturdier filling material could have been used. Another non-branded rope toy has lasted since he joined our household – so it doesn’t necessarily have to be expensive "quality"...
